Thanks for this review. I’ve been using PDFPenPro for several years but find the interface confusing and the OCR unreliable. On the website however it says “(The Mac with Intel Chip version doesn't support OCR yet.)” So I can’t OCR on an intel based mac?? That defeats the purpose.
Hello, I use the function of reading and pronouncing the selected text (Start Speaking), but it reads the text very fast, how can I slow down its reading?
It does not use all fonts, two I use all the time would not work, even though they are professionally purchased fonts. The app seems more iOS oriented than Windows, even though they say they are for both. They also have very slow service and a very bad refund policy. They tend to exaggerate the abilities of the app. It is not a user-friendly program nor is it intuitive. I use five different pdf editors.
We are still to test it on Windows. Their apps seem very different on different operating systems. We actually thought the Windows version would be better. Guess not.

Is there any online component to this software? Meaning, is my data safe in it? Does it transfer anything outside of the user’s machine?

Have you tried the system settings for that?
