Major reason is that because future method was designed to handle small payload and it was introduced first and later on queueable was launched by salesforce which was designed to handle SObjects as well in payload.they both still have their own usecases.
Hello Sir Please help me on this interview question : We have to process 1000 records from batch apex and due to some reason some records failed but they want to reprocess the records in the same batch, batch also runs once, how can we achieve this.

Hi sure, so I started with a product based company Paytm, then worked on couple of service based companies (capgemini and IBM) before joining Nagarro... yes a start up or a product based company is better at the beginning of the career as in service based you never know which kind of projects u will get.

Batchable Context seems to be bit confusing. Then what is the purpose of database.executeBatch(instance,batchsize) even this returns an Id which is job Id. So batchable Context contains the same jobid??
Good question..database.batchableContext is a context variable, whereas database.batchable is an interface. Our execute method gets batchableContext as an input parameter, that is y u get job id in execute method..bcz job id is in this context variable..

Why we can use non primitive data type in queueable but not in future as in queueable also sobject can b changed?
