Question: Do you ever use air bags? What would be the difference between air bags and the leaf springs. Or are air bags added sometimes along with leaf springs? Thanks for any input!
@@rndmparker561 No we don't use airbags mainly due to the fact that our vans will be doing some off roading and when using air bags off road there is chances of them popping and or springing leaks. Airbags can stiffen your ride or soften it at your control, it can also raise or lower your vehicle. Leaf Springs are going to give you a static stance with obviously no option to air up or air down and whats nice is we build our springs custom to the weight of your build to achieve the best ride possible!
Whats up Jeremy! Scott from TX w/ yall's 6" Baja Grocery Getter on my E350. Couldn't be happier with the lift. Can't tell you how many times people have approached asking about my van!
I think I like the 6” best but I have small kids. Could you do a review with actual kids coming in and out, putting the stroller in the trunk, groceries? That short of things? Thank you and keep up the good videos!
I'm doing a series on my V10 Econoline on my channel. My last van project I went with Action Van because it was the only lift available at the time. You guys are actually closer to me only about 20 miles away and I want to get the 6 inch lift for my current van. I see that it's on back order right now. Will it be available again in November? I'll be ready to buy by then.
Quick question, if I buy your 6" kit with the longer radius arms How many inches will my wheel get moved forward? Please let me know asap, I'm ready to buy this kit!
I'm interested in the 6 inch lift with the extended radius arms in the future. One problem though. I'm in chicago and shipping would be ridiculous I'm guessing. Since I'm building the van for road trips. My question is if I drive over there would I be able to do the install outside your garage so I can give you the stock arms so I wont get charge core ? Lol. I'll have all my tools. Looks pretty straight foward.
Aloha Jeremy And crew, would like to see a video with a interview of you talking about how you came up with the Van lifts, Racing off road and then started Weldtec designs a good story and worth sharing I believe. Also if you're gonna race some vans I'd like to Vans at speed off road using all that long travel suspension you give us good luck. #lakeboy_bs #weldtecdesigns #airstream_b190 #liftedvan
Any chance of a 4” performance kit ? Like the Baja GG but with 4” coils. Looking to build my van but don’t want 33’s an 5” lift . Ideally I want to run 245’s with 4-3” lift. Maybe I should just watch all the way through each video 👍
Your videos and your vans Rock! My question is, how off road worthy are the 2 wheel drive vans? We've always had 4x4's but now work looking into traveling longer distances on road but still want to get off road
I'm looking to do the 6" baja grocery getter kit on my 2010 e350 12 passenger high roof. Kinda worried on the height. 9',2" I'm in the parcel hauling business, and I get plenty of gravel in my travel.
It's typically not the lift by itself but running larger tires is going to have an impact on parts. So yes this it's true..... however we may be talking 80k miles vs 90k miles over a long period of time. I have been running these kits for 15 years with all the same parts. 👍
Really interested in this subject but this video is unwatchable. Why would you even post this and not do another video in a different location without noise?
oh man, seriously.. man.. next time, just drive away and find a better spot. It would of taken you 10 min drive. So annoying ! other than that, good job.
Haha no worries brotha, not sure how far you got in the video, but we moved locations to get away from that sound, seems like everywhere we film in public we run into this issue lol
Which kit do you like best? 6" Baja Grocery Getter or 4" Ocotillo Cruiser

I got a 72 econoline van. Everything new, everything except the paint. Putting a 2 foot lift on it in November. . Going be radical dude
Still saving up for your kit! Cant wait to put one on my van
Heck yeah man! We're ready when you are!
Bro I think you got me sold! Great vid despite the noise!
Glad you enjoyed!
I love your videos. Try to keep the sun behind the camera like your aerial shots in this video.
So, your saying the 6 inch lift is 2 inches more than the 4 ?
We'd have to check our calculations, but that sounds about right. 😂
@@WeldtecDesigns Ha Ha !
Thank you for doing this topic, it was needed

Subscribed just bc you have a good attitude about the construction lol
Thank you for the support brotha, I try to have a good attitude towards everything! 👍
Hey, brother keep doing what you're doing! Love your videos! Hopefully, I'll get your kit one day for my 2008 Roadtrek 210 popular!
Thank you man appreciate it!
I have a Ford e150, just curious to know all in all how would it cost to have that kit as well as the tires together
Love these lifts! One day I’ll be able to get one
Thank you brotha! and yeah most definitely, we will be here when you're ready! 👍
very interesting. obviously the height difference is 2 inches. but whats the average height of a van build running recommended tire sizes?
Do ya'all offer a 2011 Chevy Express 1500 rwd kit?
depends on which kit you're talking about 🤘

No it was not the only lift available at the time. U-Joint Off-Road in North Carolina has been making Ford E series van lifts for YEARS.
@@dirtysouthtv2209 I googled van lift kits 7 YEARS ago and all I found was Action Van Suspension. Never saw U-Joint ever in the search results

What part number for the Fox shock do you use for the 4" lift kit??

We do havea 4" performance kit! 4" lift with custom leaf springs in the back rather than lift blocks!
Fantastic work

YES, YES and YES 2wd is fine. Look at the trucks and buggys that race BAJA
Install lunchbox locker ..I have e250 with locker..dam near goes where 4x4's do..
Will the 6in be able to use 35in tires? I'm trying to switch tires from my dodge ram to my van.
What size tires can you fit under the 4 inch? or better yet what size are the tires on the 4 inch in the video?
thanks
Typically we run a 31" tire or 33" tire with extended radius arms.
I’ll hit the like button for you brotha
Thank you!!! 🤘😎
What it is the benefit of add ing the extended radius arm?
Do you make a kit for Nissan nv 3500

Hey, what issue would I have if i just install the skyjacker springs without the bent I beams, camber will be wrong ?
Alright, alright, I smashed the subscribe. Sheeeeeeeesh

Hey y'all with lifts: how much handling are you losing with the height?
You actually gain handling lol
Can I put the 6” Baja kit on my 2014 Extended E250?
Nice rigs!!
Thank you.... there's lots of them on our channel and more to come.....
I read somewhere that raising a vehicle is harder on some of the front end parts, makes them wear out sooner, is this true?

How is the sway with either kit
Question do you recommend this suspension for heavy duty.. i carry alot of weight on it .. lmk thanks !!
Do both of those have the same size tires? Are they 33"?
Whats the price difference of diy or bring to you? On grocery getter.
Do you offer lifts for 2wd Van's? Also, is the payload capacity the same?
Yeah most of our lifts are for 2WD vans, the only 4x4 we do is for the chevys! 👍
Do you have to change gear ratios?
No you do not as long add you don't go bigger then 33" tires.
I got you on a like. And karate kick bro✊
I will bring the van when I have the money. I haven’t forgotten
But I am all the way on the northern coast
Why call it a 4 inch lift if it's only a true 3 inch lift as you call it?
Live it I have the 6in
I put a 2 foot lift on a pinto when I was 16. My sister rolled it on i5 in California. I'm sending it u know
Do y'all sell these builds are just get paid to put the mods on pre-owned vehicles?
We don't sell the vehicles, we just build all the custom lift components and such as well as installs! People bring their build in for the lifts! 👍
Fuhkn mint 👌
Maybe one day I can afford the kit lol...
What kit do I need for a 02 gmc savana 1500? Lol
When will you offer a lift kit that costs less than my van?
There's a lot that goes into building these kits so it's difficult to make a cheaper kit that will give you your moneys worth! 👍
