Babesiosis is a predominantly tick-borne disease caused by a number of Babesia organisms which invade and attack red blood cells in mammals, including humans and dogs.
In most cases, Babesia organisms are spread to dogs through the bite of an infected tick, however, some studies suggest that infected dogs with open mouth sores can pass on the infection to other dogs through a bite, and infected pregnant females can transmit babesiosis to their unborn puppies.

I had 12 year dog was having a kidney infection. His treatment was going on, one day he ate another dogs poop, I feel or I have a doubt since then his health became more worsening, on 25 June 2024 after getting back from hospital (drips, n his blood was drawn for blood test) he had got a seizure attack, but he survived. And then he got his next seizure attack on 4 July 2024, and last on 8 July 2024 back to back, we were just getting him to the vet but on the way he was no more.
I wanno ask because of eating that poop it happened. And 2 months before his death he ate a small piece of foam.

Ye bhout deadly or gandi bimari hai esse sirf ap urine ke colour se pata laga sakte hai urine dark red hoga mera dog chala gaya usko serious koi symptoms nahi tha ki pata lage kuch urine chnage kuch month phele hua tha but ghar wale bole ki Garmi ke karan or muje pata nahi tha ki ye kuch serious issue hai ek din achnak khana band kiya doctor ko ghar bhulaya usne fever bola normal wala injections diya or pir liver tonic pir mast sahi hoagya tha but after 20 days week lagje laga or khana nahi gaya or raat me heavy breathing karte unconscious hoagya or morning me blood report kiya toh 2 tha hemoglobin or just uski ke badme death hogayai
