This video is very short and sharp as always. I really appreciate your work and kind heart. May I make a humble request for a video on data flows diagrams?
This is such an excellent video..so easy to understand and brief .. could you please upload a tutorial to create the same process flow chart on MS Visio? Would be really helpful
Is it possible to share this onto a PowerPoint presentation as it would be very good resource material to show in my Business Management class but I seem unable to upload same?
Hello ...I am working on comparing the process of public and private universities. Can u suggest me grounds of comparing or some standarised questionnaire ? Thanks in advanve
In Step 2, Can "Unhapppy path", as you said it, with 3rd step"END" be displayed in swimlane of Customer? This is because the information is going to Customer and Staff isnt keeping it with himself. Just an Idea, looking forward to your thoughts
Hello Piyush, Thanks for the comment. I agree on your point, but since i want to keep the example simple i had taken the unhappy path to closure after action from staff informing customers of no available tickets. If we want to end in customer swimlane then we have to add a process box in customer swimlane acknowleding the response from staff and then we can end the process post that. hope this helps
Thank you for the videos, they are very helpful indeed. Could you create videos on other diagrams like workflow diagram or sequence or class diagrams??? Thanks
its all the same thing . that should answer your question. process map is a concept while the flow chart is showing the current state of the business on a chart (As - Is)
Thank you so much for all your videos! Could you please explain the difference between process mapping and process modelling? I read about it, but the more I read, the more confused I become. Your videos are very easy to understand.

@@JokeJoshua they are not. While process maps can be used in both process design and process modelling, process mapping and process modelling are not the same thing. Process Mapping is the drawing of all the activities involved in a business process, step-by-step, so that it is entirely clear what is involved at any stage of a given business process. To understand process modelling, you first need to understand what a process model is: A process model is a rich, detailed representation of how a process works within the context of the overall business environment, and includes operating information like time and cost and relationship to goals. A process model is dynamic, that is it adapts to and reflects changes. This is not just a map but mostly mathematical equations that can simulate the behavior of the process under different conditions. Process modelling therefore is the creation of data-driven visual representations of key business processes. For example, the model might incorporate variables such as process time, resources used, and costs incurred, and use these variables to calculate the performance of the process under different scenarios.
@@Supernyv the more you give answers the more confused we become. I never knew process modeling involves mathematical equations.. This is PHD stuff sir. Anyway thanks for the feedback highly appreciated
