We are planning on staying at Aulani end of July. It seems like no one is there when you recorded. Is this because of the time you recoded? Is the pool crowded during the day? We are going with 2 young kids with no vaccinations yet. I am sure they want to play at the pool.
I was out before the pools technically opened at 8:00am. I don't think they were overly crowded with the amount of pools, lazy river, and the lagoon. Every one was pretty spread out. They provide complimentary life jackets if your little ones need them for the pools as well. Right now, there are 3 pools open for everyone, when there are usually only 2. The "adult only" pool, not hot tubs, are allowing kids in to keep it spaced out. That pool was never crowded, but it is mostly in the shade and smaller. I think you'll have an amazing time!
