No better way to have a meal when the weather is nice. Sitting outside by the water watching the boats go by and listening to the birds. Safe travels and have a great week.
I'm with you on the live crab cooking issue. Same way with Lobsters too. That was a big piece of fish for the money. Great views too of the channel. Glad yall enjoyed it.
Yes, I've got a pretty soft heart. I mean, I will eat meat, but I do feel sorry for anything that has to die a gruesome death. I believe that everything should be treated humanely. And yes, we were very pleased with the value that day, and with our food.
I did not know that Hurricane Juels was still at Little River, SC. It has been there a very long time. I did not know they were open for lunch. Years ago, I went there for supper, and it was good. Thank you for sharing.
You are very welcome. Yes, I'm going to say it was about 2:00 p.m. when we went. They were not busy at all. The guy said most of their business is at night.
I'm sure it is. I was kind of glad that there were only a few people there when we went. The service was very quick, and we almost had the place to ourselves. I am sure November is a slower time, even though this was a holiday weekend.
First of all, those steak tacos looked amazing! I like that they have such a wide variety of choices other than seafood if you're not a fan, allergic or just had your fill for the time being. 😉 We're with you on the animal cruelty issue...we still eat almost anything that doesn't eat us first, but don't torture the poor critter!
Exactly! After watching a show on preparing soft shell crabs, I was sickened. Don't know why they couldn't kill it first, and do it quickly. I'm not against eating meat at all, obviously. But be humane about it. Yes, they had a great variety on the menu. I think you could go there with a group, and everybody could find something they liked.
Yeah, having seagulls flying overhead, is not a great thing. I don't know if we had any actually right over our heads, or not. They were out there perching on the dock. I can't remember if we were directly under the umbrella, or not. You would think they would want to have all of the tables covered with umbrellas, so they wouldn't have to constantly be cleaning seagull droppings off of them.
I get it on the crab deal. I'm not a PETA guy at all but these days I don't hunt and really don't want to be involved with any killing of animals and think how some things are done and slaughtered isnt humane at all. I still eat my steak too though 😁
That's where i am at. I do eat meat, but think anything should be treated in a human way. And when I saw what happens to live soft shell crabs, it just got to me. I didn't want to get too graphic in the video, but I feel sorry for anything that has to suffer.
@@Momtocam1997Unfortunately, no. That's what we were kind of hoping to see when we went down to eat at the Calabash Seafood Hut. They are right across the street. We could see no change whatsoever. I thought maybe they would have the old building removed, and maybe even have started construction. Nothing looks any different. It looks untouched. But the sign still says they will be back.
The intro is fine. Thank you for leaving. That'll save me the trouble of kicking you off. One comment wonders don't get to tell us how to run our channel. You haven't been here long enough to earn that right.

Thank you! We appreciate you watching. Have a great week, as well.
You get a like for the animal empathy. Especially a man. I love it.
Thank you!

Food looked good. Glad you had a nice time and good meal. Loved seeing the big ship in the water too. God bless 😊
Yes, the big ship was an added bonus. That was really neat to see.
Thank you so much for watching, and for your encouraging comments. God bless you.
Any restaurant that opened at the end of WW11 & still open must be doing something right 👍... great menu too !
Hi D&S....informative review. And yes Crab Catchers is our usual waterfront place, but this looks great.

And thank you so much for watching. Yes, we were very impressed with this place.
We will try it when we go next year. Thanks for sharing
You're welcome!
Awesome. The "vibe" is totally different with a good crowd on a nice summer day.
I'm sure it is. I was kind of glad that there were only a few people there when we went. The service was very quick, and we almost had the place to ourselves. I am sure November is a slower time, even though this was a holiday weekend.
The food looked good especially he hush puppies and fish. Pretty views too.
Yes, the experience was very good. Very nice view, also.

Another good review
Love this! We're looking forward to going there soon.
When you do, we'd be curious to know what you think of it.
Live close by great choice guys! Headed out to the banner elk area in January, hoping to find some snow ❄️ at beech.
I'd say you have a pretty good chance of finding it there, especially in January. They say we are in for a snowy winter.
A great meal and price is good. Girl I love that Buc-ees T-shirt. I love watching y'all!!❤❤
Thank you so much! We really appreciate that.
Looks a great place. The fish looked nice and fresh I like watching the river but don’t like seagulls flying over head

It has been over 20 years since we've been on Hilton Head. Maybe again in the future.
Hello I have family members that live down there
That's great. We would highly recommend you all trying this restaurant if you go down there for a visit. We'd love to know what you think of it.
Any updates on Ella’s opening again?
