Amazing to know Bruce brought him into this incredible pitch learning, my all time fav bands, wow, I must have felt the connection 😁Still i reckon Michael the best voice ever. Wish he did some teaching lessons for us to learn as no other voice is still that great after 35 years
Great video - thanks for uploading! Someone asked me on my channel what I thought about Michael, and I found this... Michael talking about the balance of vocal pressure is really good explanation, and he seems like a really cool and nice guy! Much appreciated for this video! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
So funny! I had similar memories with that Elvis Forever record from my father when I was about 8/9! I loved to listen to it. Sometimes I liked to play the record faster. Michael Kiske and Bruce Dickinson were my first influences. Great Interview! Michael, you are my hero! RockVoice you rock!!!
At the 5 minute mark where he starts talking about how he sings high notes, I started trying to do it myself... I accidently woke my mother and father up as it is 4am right now.
He's right about the trumpet analogy. Dio said he reckoned it was his childhood trumpet practice gave him his strong vocal style as a trumpet requires a powerful air flow which means it develops your breath control, needed for strong singing.
Great interview with a top-notch guy and one hell of a rocksinger. I used to work nightshifts and could sing my ass off to my walkman back in the 80's and there was always one song that made me blow my pipes trying to keep up on.. 'We Got The Right' from Keepers Part 2. That is a bitch of a song to sing. Made me sound like a squeeling pig by the end of the song..hehe.. LOVE THIS MAN! thanks for sharing...
Maybe we are the first Spiritist band of Pop-Metal Rock...... Check out our sound and lyrics. But don't pay much attention to the rustic English, hahahahaha 😁
@mijo2100 He has said a couple of times that he'd never do it again, but he has changed his mind as he was upset with his record deals and how people were always forcing him to do metal when he wanted to do more rock kind of stuff. He still heavily dislikes death/black metal (me too to be honest) but the power metal scene he still likes, and he's also said that he's enjoyed doing every project he's been on, which has been mostly metal.
He started with elvis maiden priest. After over used rock style in helloween, he got fired. All band members blamed him. Chemistry between band members disappeared after kai left, who know how to deal with michi style. Others don't know how to dealt michi much like kai. He became hate to metal because of that. Go Listen to acoustic solo album
He was going thin on top in the 90s so he cut it all off (I knew this before my friend asked him about it when we met him before the show in Las Vegas at the beginning of the month, but it was still cool hearing about it from the horse's mouth. I myself asked him if he misses having long hair and he does in a way, but he prefers it short)

@Freyja1133
I think it's not the music itself he dislikes, but the aggressive and often satanic-preaching themes that go along with it.
Jesus this enterviewer is irritating.
yeah,ya,yea,yeah,ya,yea,yeah,yeah, okay
this Marko is so boring ...he say only, yeah....yeah....yeah
