I love how Kiske is not just answering interview questions, but passionately and sincerely expressing his stories, as if he's speaking with his best childhood friend.
Kiske and Kai rejoining Helloween was certainly a dream come true for the younger generation of Power Metal fans who thought we missed the glory days! Legends reunited.
I just want to say that I want to see Helloween more in the USA 🇺🇸 I am a big fan of theirs and there’s a lot more fans in the USA than what people think so it would be a great honor to see them come and play here in the USA. Hope it comes true one day soon. Stay frosty my friends.🤘🏼🤘🏼
I saw the tour with Grim Reaper and Armored Saint in Rock Island Illinois in 1986? Such a KILLER show \m/ Just saw Helloween in May in Chicago and the band has not lost a step. Kiske was flawless both times but Deris and Hansen were just spectacular as well. What an amazing band.
Got to see them for the first time a few months ago. The videos don’t even do the guy justice, the voice was unbelievably powerful and precise, compared to all I have seen lately. Only Deen castronovo was close but he only gets to sing one song. I am a new fan so don’t have the typical biases. He says he doesn’t like competition/comparisons. Of course, that is what every top dog says. Anyone in doubt needs to check this band out.
Instant subscribe 😁👍 Very good interview, almost the way I want to do them if/when I start doing such someday 🤫🫣🤣🍻 Cheers from Bulgaria!... They are here about twice a year recently, but I still haven't got the chance to see them 🤐
Almost nobody talks about it, but all the later 'progressive' and symphonic/opera-ic Nightwish-es an so on have learned what to do from these guys - The Big 6 of Power/Happy Metal: Iron Maiden (invented the epic metal), Manowar (pushed on the pedal of power), Helloween (established the Power Metal as a whole new world in Music; also - invented the Happy Metal), Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian and... Running Wild 😁 All of them have created and added something new to the genre, and all of them followed the steps of the 'founding grandfathers' :) like Uriah Heep, Zeppelin, Purple and so on, but esp. Ritchie Blackmore. And so... 😁5 of theese 6 are from Europe, 4 - from Germany and 3 of them have much to do with Kai Hansen - the true godfather of the true Happy Metal...
WOW! I don’t know if I’d even call this an interview it feels more like a genuine conversation. It covered so much of what I’ve wondered over the years. Kiske is so down to earth. A wonderful musician and wonderful human. You love to see it!
I'm sure I speak for all fans of Helloween. But I'd love to just sit and talk to all the members. Not an interview, but, just to hang with them and talk.
pumpkins united is when i really started paying attention to them thanks for another great interview its cool to get to know the person behind the face
I remember being so anxious waiting for Keys II to come out I dreamed I met the band and got to hang out with them! So happy they are back together!! Legit love the newest album. They slowly collapsed after Kai left just like Metallica did after Burton’s passing.
Nice interview! Some of the kind of topics one would always like to talk with Michi, so thanks for doing it for the fans as well! (Perhaps just a missing section about Elvis Presley, but probably not enough time 😜) I'll be traveling from the Wet Coast, looking forward to seeing the pumpkins live in Toronto! 🤘🎃 Cheers.
Awesome interview, I love how real the conversation is. Kiske is the King! Feel, power and delivery. Really transformed Hellloween IMO. I was 15 when I discovered them and instantly hooked. Finally got to see them live last night and it was super. I think the lineup is perfect to allow these mature guys to deliver a really challenging set.
Michael Kiske has been one of my favorite singers for years and I saw him fall off the stage in Chicago I was worried! So glad he was alright! 😆 Looking forward to seeing him, Kai and the pumpkin boys again next month hopefully in Chicago and Royal Oak! 🎃🤘
@@perpetualpeace6711 Most bald men donot feel at ease with a wig.Same with people who have undergone chemotherapy. It's show biz , after all ,he could have opted for a hair transplant. Some friends of mine , who donot listen to metal , thought that Kiske looked like a farmer or a butcher .And I have to admit their statement is trithful🥰.
The reason why he doesn't have any hair is because he has a bald patch on top of his head, he explained this in an interview. Since he doesn't like how that patch looks, he just prefers to shave his head instead of just cutting it all the time (his sister used to cut his hair).
Is there a reason that they have not performed certain songs since pumpkins united, Or is it just because the vocals on songs like KOT7K are too difficult for them to pull off now?
Amazing host, and an amazing guest ! Thank you for this interview, Kiske’s interviews always feel as if they are 10 minutes of length!
Glad you liked it!

Hey are you saying I'm NOT his childhood friend!? 🤣 Michael is awesome to talk to indeed!!

I interviewed Michael Weikath 17-18 years ago and it was obvious that Helloween is a very spiritual band. Great guys.
I can't believe your interviewed Kiske! Such a legend. Thanks!
Believe it 👊😉
What an absolutely enjoyable interview. Michael seems to be in a great place.

Michael Kiske is a giant in power metal and my personal favorite voice of all time.
🤘🤘🤘
Thanx for that long interview. Those 45 minutes went by much faster than I thought.
Awesome! I already edited it down from 1hr :)
@@BelgianJasper wouldn't mind an 1 hour director's cut version
The man is a legend and that voice, goosebumps.
It was a pleasure talking to him!
Thanks for this amazing interview! I'm glad I stumbled upon it.
Thank you! Hope you enjoy the other Helloween interviews on the channel as well 🤘🤘🤘

Enjoying Hammerfall + Helloween in Argentina in 2022 was probably the most exciting thing I've ever done.
Awesome!

first time heard the song halloween back in the day i was hooked

Best Helloween song in my opinion, closely followed by Keeper of the Seven Keys.

i'm flying from edmonton to san fran for this tour.....1/4 the price to fly to the states than toronto

Is there any remedy , so that he gets his hair back ? The guy should have performed in a Broadway musical , his voice is divine.

Not sure why you ask that as they regularly play KOT7K
What happened to guy, bought a pizzeria? LOL
I'm glad Michael got the bad taste out of his mouth. Helloween was just never the same without him and Kai.
