I love that those big youtubers make 30 minute raid guides that dont even cover the entire thing. Then you come in explaining the entire raid in 5 minuets with clear, pinpoint accuracy.
i hate that the man with the "gold standard raid guides" pushes them out as fast as humanly possible, and said raid guide consists of him blabbering on about the same thing, then skimming over an incredibly crucial detail. just random un-synced gameplay, its about as unhelpful as a raid guide can get. these are amazing tho, truly as good as it gets
I’ve watched this 3 times and finally feel confident for a raid since D1. I know people say easy raids suck but I enjoy finally being able to clear a raid and get cool weapons. Might be the last time I do a raid destiny or in gaming in general. I’m happy I can do it
My team wasn’t optimized for contest, so we definitely struggled. On normal, it’s been a fun time. I fully get the difficulty debate and have my own thoughts, but in a vacuum I REALLY have fun running this one.
I cannot express how much you're quick and to the point raid guide have helped get me into Destiny raiding. I suffer from ADHD and Anxiety so learning raids with PUGs is rough and trying to digest 30-45 min videos on raids is next to impossible. I turn you're videos into even further abbreviated reference documents I can look at anytime during the raid. You're a friggin Champion!

For the third encounter there actually is a visual timer except its on the floor where the boss is standing instead of on your HUD so nobody will realistically be paying attention to it
In scission and planets, the is a visible timer - just not on your screen. It's the golden fluid slowly crawling along the walls in scission and on the ground in planets. If it gets to the other side, it's a wipe
There is a "visible" timer for Macrocosm. The "Disciple" Glyph in the center fills from the middle plate, to the boss starting location. Supernova gets triggered if the Gold reaches the end of the Glyph
In relation to the nezarec encounter, you don't really need to worry about the wipe mechanic as long as your runners are fast enough to light up all nodes. Thats how it was done during contest.
We did this for the first round in my contest clear, but I’ve been on teams that can’t pull it off - I can still mess it up. Best to keep in the mechanic and let folks run it!
The downside is that I don’t get much into strategy - - but there’s something satisfying about seeing how many people pause/replay the map for Scission 🤤 🗺️
I am never getting this done. Not only do I have to have the gear, knowledge, and skill to do all this, but I need to know 5 other people that do to. This game is just too hard for casual players like me. Lame, the armor you can get from this raid looks awesome
Of all the raids, this is the most new-raider friendly. Each encounter has room for players that don't need to manage mechanics and the combat difficulty is lower than most Vanguard playlists. Hit up an LFG server, look for somebody willing to teach and I you've got a real shot!

@@cketch Yea my problem is finding people on LFG. Even with an easy raid people just don’t like newcomers or people who have good smelling arm pits.
