I worked in Punjab Pakora, you can eat them out the packet I promise 😂. In England they have punjab pakora in poundkand, and it is the exact same item labelled ready to eat! They are cooked for long enough. Next time try the haggis pakora, it's to die for 🤣 x

I think bridges were not built because you would need engineers, the equipment, training and money. These things mainly appeared during wars. A good thing i heard was that in Asia there was a ravine that needed a bridge but every year the monsoon rains would destroy it. Steel, wood or iron did not last long against the force of the monsoon rains flooding over it and smashing trees etc into it. The solution that is still there now was to pull tree roots across the ravine, weave them together, and this bridge is still there now.

An excellent finish to your latest Scottish adventure. So much to see and do, don't know how you fit it all in. If on your return North you get the chance to stop at either Tebay Truck Stop just off the M6 or Stainmore Cafe on the A66. I'd recommend them for a brew and decent affordable food.

If you jump on a train at that station heading to fort William, You’ll pass Currour station on route, good walks in and out.
Some good brekkie to be had at the Inveroran hotel if you kept walking another mile or so.
Keep up the good work lad , you’ve got loads more decent place to visit up still not even touched the edges of Scotland yet.
Hope you come back soon and if you need any ideas let me know.👍😊

Enjoyed your Scottish tour and loved listening to your mispronounced names of some of the Scottish places.😅 Bridge of Orchy is pronounced ORKY and its Applecross not Appleby cross. The Bealach na ba ( pronounced Ballach na ba) is a challenge to drive in the winter but much less traffic and you did well. Looking forward to your European tour next and safe travels.😊x

Quite a big change in the Forrestry car parks just now mate. Lot more "No Overnight" signs. Bummer.
They seem to be encouraging the few overnight places they're keeping. Which is cool they're encouraging a small donation and having designated spots but, i dont think they realise just how many folk use their spots for a cheeky wee overnight stay before boarding, or doing a hill etc. Reducing the number of spots will possibly see the spots where it is over run and creating a bigger problem? Nightmare!!

It was much more important for the English army under the Duke of Cumberland to subdue the clans who were in support of the Jacobite's and French paid mercenaries. As a result of the uprisings and battles there was major road building project as well as bridges built. After Culloden Cumberland had the flower Sweet William named after him by the English. The Scottish named a weed after him called Stinking Willy or Stinking Billy.

    Interesting about the camera specs!
Boring nerd speak here - but It’s exactly the same with computers and consoles, a standard PlayStation 5 or Xbox series X is capped at only 60 FPS 120hz whereas a computer can go up to 300+ and most standard monitors are 144hz, it’s obviously the same with cameras as you were explaining. This is why gamers on PC tend to be better than console players in a competitive setting, due to the better hardware and ability to see things clearly (an enemy in game)
In 2024 , anything lower than 1080p 60fps is noticeable (for a nerd like me anyway lol)
Sorry for the tangent, I love talking about specs!
