You can try the pilgrim hair growth serum. But you have to use it atleast 4-5 times a week and be consistent.
Thanks Michelle for your recommendations. I really likev the reequil hair mask. The Arata detangler didn't impress me. It creates a sticky residue after it dries. I have the habit of touching my hair very often, and i have to keep washing my hands after touching my hair - that's how bad the residue is
People with hair that gets weighed down easily will benefit from your feedback. Personally my hair guzzles up product like crazy and so I didn't face this issue. Even when I layer multiple products it works in my favour.
Hi I love your all videos .I am going to start cgm.I have one doubt can I skip styling cream after conditioner and use only gel??
Some hair types can do with just a cg friendly gel. Totally depends on how much moisture your hair needs. Most cg friendly gels have moisture ingredients. They nourish as well as provide hold.

How often do you think i should change my hair products?👀 I am new to cg and so far i have used only 2 shampoos n deep conditioners but i am still using the same conditioner, leave in and gel. I am in love with St Botanica's shampoo and don't wanna let it go 🤧
Oh btw I've been experimenting with stylers and this week I decided to not go for a leave in. Instead i went for aloe gel first and then the enliven blue gel. My hair turned out to be better than i had expected.
Don't feel compelled to change your products. Stick with what is working.
Just maintain one moisture lineup and one protein lineup and that's it

I am kinda switching between Bella Vita and mamaearth argan hair mask and i gotta say the mamaearth mask gives you so much more than Bella Vita does. So far i have tried the bella Vita mask twice and haven't liked it a lot even though it's not that bad
I do not recommend using the Bella Vita Hair Mask. I strongly suggest not using it. I'll talk about my experiences soon.

You'll need to give me time to try out all the products available in the Indian market. I'll get to each and every single brand slowly but surely. I dont enjoy feeling rushed. Right now I am still using the Garnier hair food, the new arata advanced curl care line and thr true frog line, switching up my washday lineup/product combos and comparing the results of each.
I'll make a note of this content request but please don't expect it soon. I won't be able to do reviews every week. Speed testing and giving casual opinions is not my thing. Hope you can understand and appreciate that.

I feel like the Arata hair cream and hair mask would suit me a lot given that i have fine, low porosity 2a-2b mix that tends to get weighed down very easily. Thank you Michelle for your reviews. I also love that you show the products on your hands so that we know it's consistency and texture. Sometimes the formulation may have heavy butters and oils but the consistency of the product is so light. So I love seeing how the product looks before buying it. My hair LOVES proteins cause it's fine. Protein gives it body, build and some grit.

There are few queries i thought il put to you as i have been researching a bit on my own ,but when in confusion my best bet would be you ❤️🤗
1st - regarding silicones ...are silicones really not useful in CGM even if it water soluble ... I happened to be at salon for curly girl cut ( btw which went disaster as she chopped of all ends that were helping me curl up 😭😭😭) anyways i asked her to use log method for styling ....my hair stayed so well managed n frizz free for soooooo long ...i just wanted to check on oil that she used Nashi Argan oil , happened to see ingredient list and i realised it had silicones just like moroccon argan treatment oil ...these companies just mention argon oil n don't write it's a mixture ,not pure ...but yet i realised wave pattern was maintained and i had frizz free days ...i want ur thought and opinions on silicones that don't do buildup and products that have it ... ofcourse if it interests you and u feel up to it ❤️❤️
Another query is which diffuser can be taken as i saw the standard ones , collapsible ones and some silicone made hand kinds ....just got confused ....want to include diffuser in my routine
3rd have u seen bblunt curly care range ...how come ingredients are not cg friendly and it's still curl care ...saw some reviews m people are happy with range ..i m unsure as again silicone confusion is bothering 😭😭

@@swatiraisuraj gel layering is very tricky. I haven't had much luck. I'll talk about it in my next monthly fav videos
About silicones, there's nothing wrong with using water soluble silicones. I dont do it because i enjoy the natural shine my hair has on the curly hair method.
I spoke about silicone use for curly hair care in my enliven review video. You must check it out. It will confirm your thoughts.
About the diffuser, i only have the one. They're expensive so i cant buy multiple diffusers. When i bought my diffuser, it was the cheapest one i found on amazon that had a cool shot button, 3 temp settings and 3 fan settings. Also it looked legit. The other ones I saw weren't brands i recognised. Didn't want to buy one that would stop working in a year or two.

Last night I had took the risk of applying argan oil on my hair and in the morning when I had washed my hair they felt like they had burned, all frizzy, crunchy ,so I want to ask that I have to skip oiling for ever , and Michelle please recommend for me a good sulphate free shampoo which I can use without the fear of dryness ,u have told about northwish naturals shampoo also ,as u know that I can not pre poo because it cause dryness on my hair ,so I think without doing pre poo it is not a good idea to use sulphates shampoo ,so please Michelle tell about sulphate free shampoo for extremely low porosity hair which lathers well and don't cause dryness
Hey Jaskirat. I spoke about my fav budget shampoos in my last video. I think you'll find my updated opinions and advise on cleansing shampoos vs moisturising shampoos and who should use which.
You can skip a pre-poo if it's not suiting you. I skip pre-poo sometimes as well.

@@MichelleManuel I have seen on nykaa about dove sulphate free variant it is cruelty free ,only one ingredient is there in ingredient list about which I am little bit confuse it is sodium chloride.

Small proteins are great for low porosity hair
Have you ever used Cantu curl activator? What are your thoughts on this for wavy hair?
Cantu is not cruelty free so i won't buy from this brand.

I want to try the Arata Advanced curl cream, you mentioned in another video too that it's light. And i have fine, wavy hair + I think using a little leave-in/cream product helps my clumps. So this one sounds ideal!
*BUT* it's a protein product. So that'd mean if i use this as my styler I'd end up adding protein almost every wash day? That seems like way too much! esp coz my hair has next to no heat/bleach/hard water damage
I wouldn't use the arata hair cream on every single washday.
So maybe you could try to figure out another product that doesn't contain protein and use it on regular washdays instead.
If you're looking for something light maybe check out a level 2 product.

Currently I'm just using a bit of my reequil conditioner as a leave in/styling cream type product
How do I reverse hard water damage? My hair is very similar to yours with high porosity but recently i have lost all my curls and it's very frizzy. The photos look similar to what I found about hard water damage and i have no idea how to repair my hair.
You need to clarify regularly to remove hard water buildup. It can become an issue if allowed to build up over time.

Hey, how to introduce protein into my routine, since I'm a beginner. I have fine hair. But I have noticed that it gets wet fast, dries within 3-4 hours, but in the float test , my hair was kinda in the middle. So what should I start with.

The black spruce bark extract was the first protein mask i ever used. It used to work so well on my hair! It was such a fav of mine back in the day.

Hey Michelle! Can you tell how to understand if my hair is protein sensitive (meaning my hair doesn't like protein)? Although I think my hair loves protein, I do protein wash only once a month fearing I might get protein overload. Also, is the protein sensitivity the same thing as protein overload? It would be really helpful if you can explain a bit. 🙂
In the case of protein sensitivity, the hair feels stringy and straw like on exposure to large proteins. For detailed info check out my video on protein moisture balance and video on products for low porosity hair.
My hair feels straw like when i apply fix my curls quenching hair gel but when i apply serum and do sotc it becomes better.Only 1 or 2 pieces feels like that then. So is it cast or protein sensitivity. I m confused.
