You know, i kinda expected MOTI to do Beelze since his villian voice is astounding, but RecD also has an astounding villian voice since Salt baker, King of Spades, Black Imposter, etc…
I really like the mentions to the Four Horsemen. Alongside the obvious, that being Famine and Death being namedropped, there's also "the one that pulls the strings that bind you" (Conquest, referencing bowstrings) and "lay upon the ground your sword (War). Maybe those last two are stretches, but either way they add a lot to this banger of a song imo.
@@driftingthruspaceKeep your consonants crisp and short. Breathe in the shape of the vowel you're aiming to sing (small circle for O's and U's, open for "Ah"). Get a good teacher who is truly passionate for the art.
It's not out yet but I'm so glad Dawn is also getting voiced for this, really interested to see how you handle the switch from Dawn Pokemon to Boyfriend fnf. Edit: You made her go beep boop, that's so cheesy but it's perfect.
I would guess the voice of Dawn is going to fade out while Boyfriends fading in with beeps and boops Edit: Well I almost guessed it but dawn saying beeps and boops makes it funnier
Such an amazing cover, it sounds so Disney-esque. I love how Beezle as a gentleman asks like he just wants to show some gratitude before revealing his true intentions and forcing boyfriend to come out. I was curious on if you would actually write boyfriend lyrics here but having Dawn start singing in beep bops was amazing, two amazing bangers back to back good job Juno :)
I don't think enough people are acknowledging that in the artwork with BF his shirt has a Pokémon symbol on it positioned in a similar way that the no sign is on his normal shirt. I just think that's neat.
I love how instead of Empoleon or Infernape, you decided to choose Torterra as Dawn's partner, one of the most underrated starters and my favorite pokemon
I chose piplup in my BD playthrough cus I love being Canon but for fire red I did choose squirtle and regretted that when I ran into blue cus his bulbasaur metaphorically bent me over
I don't know what is worse for Dawn, the fact that she is powerless to figth back, the fact that she is forced to disappear from existence or the fact that she is forced to be a merely spectator on how an innocent that has nothing to do with her falls into the darkness. This lyrics are fire tho
Dawn's fate is seemingly unknown in Death Toll since it's implied that her fading and looking more like Boyfriend before disappearing completely is meant to indicate that Boyfriend is playing as her and is taking her place after he signs the contract, but it can be considered that she died.
For some reason the effect on the line ‘Peered into places where you shouldn’t’ gives me some sort of dopamine I can’t explain. In general, I noticed Beelze’s voice gains an effect after the laugh which is a REALLY nice touch. It’s as if he’s tired of toying with Boyfriend and Boyfriend using Dawn as his vessel, so he decides to do this. Also Juno, is the ‘let the shadow of death haunt you with every breath’ a reference to the end of the creepypasta where the person says they can’t be around people or animals without being in misery? Nice touch 3:08
I just noticed that when beelz enters phase 2, he slowly begins to spell boyfriend's name across the screen. After it's finished, dawn starts to fade away as boyfriend's soul is dragged into the game. It's a nice touch.
Also when the contract is half complete is when Boyfriend’s control over the game (and thus Dawn) is interrupted which would explain why she panics about not being able to move.
I love the fact that with every one of these songs one can tell Juno does the research on the original source material. I knew about lost silver and sonic.exe but not Hell Bell. So reading the creepypasta and coming back to understanding what the song references is really awesome!
Interesting seeing you draw BF with full bodily proportions for this one rather than using the usual chibi style of FNF here. It's honestly pretty cool.
2:09 this part is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT I cannot stop listening to it over and over again, I feel so bad for dawn because I think she's just a kid and having to go through this is really traumatic for her, if she even made it out alive that is
I really *really* love the Beelze design that appears at 1:40. I think because they're drawn more like an actual Pokemon trainer, has a fun feel to it I guess? Regardless, you, RecD, and Lauren Kong all did a great job with this one!
2:09 I'm the only one who, despite playing the mod, knowing what happens and the ending, still, felt a tiny flash of hope when he saw Dawn raise her voice with determination?
Imagine trying to call for help against an old geezer and a Bronzong but your voice gets forcibly replaced by beep bops. ...okay that's actually kind of terrifying.
@@MarkoIronFist The simulation theory had always been the one to confuse me the most. It’s hard to believe that a simulation on such a scale as the universe could be achieved. For the sake of argument, if it was, why fight it? Simulation or not this world feels real to us, which makes it real to us. “Perception is reality.” Why commit suicide? Why stress about it?
I love how the opening line is Beelze thanking us for returning Hell bell to him, just shows that despite the fact that he is just tryna take our soul, he's at least nice and grateful enough to thank us for returning his Pokemon to him (I think??? Idk, I'm a little silly)
Yeah, like he legit lost his bronzong, shiny no less, so the fact that someone return it, I'm willing to say he was genuinely grateful. But his job is literally to steal souls so it's not like he is just gonna let bf go.
his whole plan is to trick you into giving him your name so he can steal your soul by convincing you that he wants to thank you for returning the bronzong and can't do so without knowing your name. i don't think he cared all that much that you returned his pokemon, he just acted grateful to keep up the facade to get your name
@@connortg5well he does acknowledge it when he mentions that a good deed from a lamb can not beat wolf's ultimate sin, so he was kinda thankful, but he still has to do what he has to do.
Y'know its funny to think that HellBell is actually the one in control, and Beelze is some sort of puppet for HellBell, the reason being HellBell can act like a pokemon while controlling Beelze, gaining the player's trust even more.
Woaaah. I never saw the entire song before, it's so cool how Dawn slowly changes into Boyfriend and then the "Gentleman" just casually says "Ah. Hello, Boyfriend"
Plot twist: GF already owns BF’s soul so Beelze just lets him go like “Ah dang this one’s taken. Oh well I’ll just go find some other kid.” This comment is a joke don’t take it too seriously lol
Jebus, the fact that the last thing we hear from Dawn before she goes into beep-bop mode is her calling for help... just haunts me. It's like you're calling for help, but in the middle of your cries, you're unable to speak normally, but are now forever forced to speak in a language even you don't understand before relinquishing your body's control to something else. ....okay, that got a bit dark there, didn't it? Still, marvelous job.
An interesting interpretation is Dawn being unable to move is because of the transfer. Beelze’s lyrics specifically talk to the player, and of course it’s reasonable he knows how game characters work from the lyrics at 1:48. So once the contract was over half complete, Boyfreind couldn’t control Dawn anymore and without anyone at the controls she wouldn’t be able to do anything.
Juno, I can’t even begin to describe how happy I felt when I knew you were planning this one. Dawn’s confidence slowly faltering once the BF/Dawnfriend (Just made that name up on the spot) began their beep boop boops was so well done! This one is a masterpiece!
Something about Dawn's voice actress in this is just perfect, also making Dawn and boyfriend 2 different characters was something I just didnt see coming, definitely going to watch this over and over
That was mad crazy! Absolute props to you and everyone on that song, literally peak. And not to mention how the lyrics on dawn went from words to beeps since in the creepypasta showed that dawn transformed to the player and it’s was spot on
@@gameuniverse5973 my guess, is that if we follow gaming lore and such, when dawn start to disappear, so did the code of the character and such and had to be replace and since the game shuts down completely, the cursed game had a built in system that made it so after the deed was done, the game would never be able to be booted up again since it would need the protagonist to be available in the code and it’s no longer in the code. Furthermore the spirit that was on the game transfers to the player and making experience a never ending suffer of hell on earth. At least that just a theory of mine. (I can be well informed about these kinds of things)
3:16 This entire section gave me chills. Amazing job to RecD for being able to give a tone of malevolence and evil that no creepypasta mod with lyrics will ever compete with.
My favorite Hypno's Lullaby Song lyricized in a creative manner, voiced by two damn good VAs, organized by Juno, and all on my Birthday!? I know the last bit wasn't at all intentional, but regardless thank you mr. Juno & co! I love this!
i almost stayed up 16 hours for this, and honestly if i did i wouldn't have regretted it. the lyrics hit so damn hard, so glad to have been here for the premiere!
the funniest part about this is that gamefreak has included really weird events in pokemon games (like the solrock/the moon verison of solrock guy in sun and moon or the ghost hex girl) and i could totally see a "definitely not the devil" secret event in one of these games
dawn's lyrics from 1:47 to 2:08 are sung SO WELL, imo, they go along PERFECTLY with the rhythm of the song in general, like i'm obsessed with this part
2:09 Not gonna lie,the concept of becoming trapped in a game with some creepy character is terrifying, and I love how it's executed, "trapped in code and wire" is absolutely amazing. Also I love the gain of speed after the contract shows up.
My headcanon for the story of the song is that girfriend left for 5 minutes to make some coffee and ended up having to go to hell for the third time in a week to fetch Boyfriend
What i really like and feel bad about this creepypastas protagonist is they didnt really deserve their fate. They just played their brothers old version if platinum and then got their soul stolen by the devil. Damned for eternity for doing nothing but following their pokemons wants to go back to their old trainer. Most stories of the devil involve them tricking someone who deserves it but this protag really didnt
I absolutely love how this was handled! I thought the Dawn-Boyfriend transition would be rough to interpret, but everyone did an amazing job! Props to you for two banger simultaneous FNF and Pokémon uploads back to back 🙏
Damn, I really hasn't expecting such a banger from an FNF song with lyrics but you guys continue to impress me with your covers. Here's some of my highlights and favorite parts: Loved the detail that Beelze's lyrics never actually refer to dawn, something which I didn't even notice until the comments pointed it out and i listened for a second time. The way Beelze's VA delivered this specific section 1:17 ("I can't take an alias, I can't take a nickname, quick now, don't delay, I'm a very busy man, so come and claim what i offer you for your kind soul...") I'm not sure why, but this part goes incredibly hard for some reason. And finally, the way Dawn's VA begins singing in beeps and boops as her voice turns into that of BF's is hilarious and well executed.
OH MY LORD DAWN BOOPING AND BEEPING WAS SOMETHING I WAS IN NO DAMN WAY PREPARED FOR LMAO THIS WAS AMAZING Your art's always beautiful, but there's just something amazing about the art in this one that REALLY shines, especially when Boyfriend arrives! Absolutely amazing! You, RecD, and Lauren all did great! beep boop bop (capitalism)
Yeahah! The lyrics are perfectly used well in this cover, and it's nice to see RecD perform as Beelze! Great job Juno, Lauren Kong, and RecD!! 👏👏👏👏👏 I didn't expect Dawn would just beepbopboop at the end xddd
One thing I noticed is that Beelze says “FOR your kind soul”. While it could be interpreted as him saying that you deserve whatever reward he has, we all know that it means he’s EXCHANGING your reward…for nothing other than your kind soul.
i just realized that "Beelze" not only sounds like "Bells" but it's also the shortened name of one of the 7 kings of hell. "Beelzebub", or the lord of flies. What's also funny is the fact that Beelzebub is the king of Gluttony, and here is Beelze making a deal with you, one that if you accept (over your own gluttonous fantasies), then you get punished.
When it comes to this particular song, my personal headcanon is this: Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest decide to give Boyfriend a copy of a Pokémon game and are well aware of the true nature of the cartridge. Using their powers, they place Boyfriend's name on the file and sit back and watch as he fades away...
you know to be honest i never saw Beelze as having hair his sprite always just seemed bald oh yeah amazing cover of my favorite song in this mod, major banger, killed it as always Juno
I've said it before, I'll say it again, Juno Songs KNOWS how to write horror music! I try not to request things in comments though... just seems kinda rude upon reflection. Like "Hey this was great but you should do this bc it's better" so I'm gonna try not to do that. Thanks for the amazing cover!
I was at school during a fire drill (because some goober pulled the alarm) when this was released. You also made a good decision with the voice of dawn
Not to mention The kind old man and his bronzong is nice as hell that they made Dawn and Boyfriend happy to sing along before Boyfriend soloing the song! I'm proud of the 4 gals who did a rap battle!
I think a very under appreciated part of this video is how dawn, upon realsing that she was facing a demon, choose to attack rather than run. She knew he was up to no good and was gonna do her best to stop it
The thing that disturbs me the most is the fact at how it is heavily implied that Beelze is aware of Dawn's presence but deems her irrelevant. The line "Did you think I was talking to you, dear girl? I'm addressing the one who pulls the strings that guide you. One who dares to hide behind you." Proves that. What makes me feel bad for Dawn however, is that Beelze is so obsessed with getting Boyfriend's soul that he results in drastic measures that cause Dawn suffers in the process. His attempt at obtaining Boyfriend's soul forced Dawn to only be able to speak in beeps and boops, and you can tell that she's trying to utter actual words but can't, and the last coherent words was a cry for help, she can't even question what's happens her before she disappears. Beelze is one messed up yet clever old man, but what's even more clever. Is out well made this lyrics was. Awesome job @Juno Songs 👍
If I remember correctly, I think it was Girlfriend’s ds(though, using things owned by demons might technically be the same thing) Edit: I misspelled “by” as “be”
Expected this to end up as the halloween song, but this is a pleasant surprise! I was wondering how you'd handle the transition from Dawn to BF and I think Lauren doing the "beep boop bops" is honestly genius. Great work from both her and RecD! Beezle's parts near the end are especially fire!!
Amazing! Death Toll was already a good song, and you made it even better! RecD was perfect for Beelze (Which I think is the Gentleman's name). Considering this and Monochrome V2, I would love to see Pasta Night or Isotope!
Well done to everyone who participated in this and the art was amazing plus giving me the platinum vibes at the beginning was soo good it was worth it staying up to midnight in germany
Juno, you probably won't see this, but I've been pretty stressed because I'm moving tomorrow, the day this comes out. But I've loved listening to your FNF lyric videos, especially Monochrome, and it's kind of helped with the stress. So this video is kind of like a "Here, don't be stressed" kind of thing. I know it's not actually for that but it's nice to imagine. Also it's also kind of like that because it's my favorite song. So yeah. You're an awesome singer, Juno, keep doing what makes you happy! That tiny detail of chains surrounding the Pokeball Dawn is holding so that she can't summon the Pokémon to aid her. Pokémon Scarlet & Violet players like me would immediately get what that's referencing. Very clever.

I think gold said something about strings in monochrome
The one that pulls the strings that bind you is referring to the player (boyfriend)

@@anthonyhaney626 I am aware. I just think it's a neat alternative interpretation.
As a 6 to 7 year choir member, I gotta say that I'm really happy that Beelze knows to hold his vowels and keep his consonants short and crisp.

Nice touch
3:08
I just noticed that when beelz enters phase 2, he slowly begins to spell boyfriend's name across the screen. After it's finished, dawn starts to fade away as boyfriend's soul is dragged into the game. It's a nice touch.
Also when the contract is half complete is when Boyfriend’s control over the game (and thus Dawn) is interrupted which would explain why she panics about not being able to move.
the name spelling and dawn fading away and boyfriend apearing all happen in the original mod as well.

Y'know its funny to think that HellBell is actually the one in control, and Beelze is some sort of puppet for HellBell, the reason being HellBell can act like a pokemon while controlling Beelze, gaining the player's trust even more.
reminds me of Malamar in the one episode of the XY anime for Pokemon. In which Malamar controlled Officer Jenny
Gosh I feel old

Oh well I’ll just go find some other kid.”
This comment is a joke don’t take it too seriously lol
BF bet GF twenty bucks she couldn’t swallow an entire Bowser amiibo, but he didn’t have twenty bucks so he gave her the second best thing
“Hello, Boyfriend.” RecDs voice during this part is so great. great job to everyone who worked on this it turned out amazing!
Juno, I can’t even begin to describe how happy I felt when I knew you were planning this one. Dawn’s confidence slowly faltering once the BF/Dawnfriend (Just made that name up on the spot) began their beep boop boops was so well done! This one is a masterpiece!
I am so psyched. Definitely one of it not my favorite one from the mod, used to listen to it so much. Can’t wait to see his take on this song.
Something about Dawn's voice actress in this is just perfect, also making Dawn and boyfriend 2 different characters was something I just didnt see coming, definitely going to watch this over and over
Her name is Lauren Kong
That was mad crazy! Absolute props to you and everyone on that song, literally peak. And not to mention how the lyrics on dawn went from words to beeps since in the creepypasta showed that dawn transformed to the player and it’s was spot on
This really just makes me wonder what exactly happened to dawn was she just snapped out of existence
Loved the detail that Beelze's lyrics never actually refer to dawn, something which I didn't even notice until the comments pointed it out and i listened for a second time.
OH MY LORD DAWN BOOPING AND BEEPING WAS SOMETHING I WAS IN NO DAMN WAY PREPARED FOR LMAO

Great job Juno, Lauren Kong, and RecD!! 👏👏👏👏👏
I didn't expect Dawn would just beepbopboop at the end xddd
One thing I noticed is that Beelze says “FOR your kind soul”. While it could be interpreted as him saying that you deserve whatever reward he has, we all know that it means he’s EXCHANGING your reward…for nothing other than your kind soul.
Shoutout to Dawn's VA for willing to actually say beep beep bop bop cause that shit's hilarious
i just realized that "Beelze" not only sounds like "Bells" but it's also the shortened name of one of the 7 kings of hell. "Beelzebub", or the lord of flies. What's also funny is the fact that Beelzebub is the king of Gluttony, and here is Beelze making a deal with you, one that if you accept (over your own gluttonous fantasies), then you get punished.
after listening to 2 versions of this where recd plays it hits so crazy how much he can change his voice
When it comes to this particular song, my personal headcanon is this:
Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest decide to give Boyfriend a copy of a Pokémon game and are well aware of the true nature of the cartridge. Using their powers, they place Boyfriend's name on the file and sit back and watch as he fades away...
I bet GF would try and fail to save him

oh yeah amazing cover of my favorite song in this mod, major banger, killed it as always Juno
I feel it might’ve been done due to him being disguised with the Gentleman trainer class, which does have hair
@@thezygardiantrio9434 sounds about right actually
All of this could have been avoided if Boyfriend just bought a normal DS instead of stuff off the darkweb
If I remember correctly, I think it was Girlfriend’s ds(though, using things owned by demons might technically be the same thing)
Edit: I misspelled “by” as “be”
Also, it was the Cartridge, not the DS
Expected this to end up as the halloween song, but this is a pleasant surprise! I was wondering how you'd handle the transition from Dawn to BF and I think Lauren doing the "beep boop bops" is honestly genius. Great work from both her and RecD! Beezle's parts near the end are especially fire!!
