Super underrated:
People never understood how good he really was
True my man
I did for I've been fan of spies since 2013
People probably saw him to be too old to be good idk
yeah he was crafty, quick, and his iq was amazing he was the perfect partner for timmy and manu
i dont think he is underrated bro
Best spin move in the entire NBA history.
Jean-Baptiste Oudart yessir
Idk kobes and even lebrons is wild
nah Julius Randle is the spin god
I was legit thinking that... but Baran Davis, D-Wade and Grant Hill had tough ones too tho. Idk.
@@markwilliams3478 facts
As a French I'm so proud of him. In the 2000's, I always saw his results in the morning TV news before going to school. He made me happy each time with huge performances. Merci Tony
Oh Tony is from France. I am so dumb I never knew that.
@@kirols Spurs had a lot of Internatinal players, TP and Boris Diaw from France, Manu from Argentina, Tiago from Brazil, Patty Mills from Australia, Pau Gasol from Spain, Marco Belinelli from Italy. Compared to American players, International players love team basketball and that is Spurs style. I think that is why the ball runs so fluent and the plays are so fun to watch in early 10s Spurs games.
@@kirols haha, don't be too harsh on yourself. Given his last name (and the fact that his father was indeed american) there is no reason you would know, except that you might have seen him playing for France during olympic games for instance
@@kirols tony is a french man of american origin, his father is american
Crazy how great of a finisher at the rim TP was despite not being a freak athlete...just knew how to use angles and had perfect touch. Probably one of the fastest players ever up and down the court
Josh Dreiss he was freakishly quick.
@@marcbibanga5601 no doubt I just meant he couldn't jump outta the gym like alotta of these PG's can, yet still hands down one of the best finishers for his size
@@joshdreiss had a lot of hangtime though. those layups were insane
2007 Tony Parker was extremely quick
I remember for a few years he was the player who had the most points in the paint, which is absolutely insane if you think about it.
Spurs Legend. Can’t wait to see his jersey retired tonight.
nba legend
Duncan = the post game.
Ginobili = the euro step.
Parker = the floater.
hakeem post game
Parker also has that crazy spin
Spin move too bruh
@@dizza213 yep also
BiNO BOi he was talking about their roles within the team.....idiot
TP was such a monster in getting inside defenses, he actually was the leading scorer in the PAINT in a season. The damned paint where big men usually dominate.
Facts
He would run all four corners of the key...
realtalk
@@Peakfreud back when driving it in was a main role for point guards, and shooting deep was not. Requird more skill back then, ball handle, reads, and quickness.
@@whoamomma8050 Couldn't agree more... T.P is my Favorite P.G next To the Real Isaiah Thomas...
That Spurs dynasty was incredible. Tony Parker is so underrated. I’m glad he’s a HOF’er this year. He earned it. 4x Champion!
my dude was so underrated future hall of fame
of course...
Top 10 PG who ever touched a basketball. Period.
Very underrated.
@@stephena.smithofficialespn5433 Hmm...
Magic, Curry, Oscar Robertson, Isaiah Thomas, Stockton,CP3, Kidd, Nash, Payton, Westbrook, DRose?
Not talking about chips only skill
@@mosesjerusalem32 ...tony parker is just as good as 6 of those players...and has more rings than 7 of those players combine...i think top 10 player for a fact drose shouldn't be up there not top 10 if it wasn't for his injury than yeah of course but not now...
Tony Parker is a layup god. His tough drives to the rim, tough layups and finishes, and his assists are crazy.
When all I can hear is, "Parker with the spin move"
hear
Spin move was one of his most powerful moves
When people mention about speed, most of the time names like D. Rose or D. Wade comes in. But man, Tony Parker was damn swift, he got that sleek quickness. Dude smoothly drive between 2-3 defenders like a hot knife on a butter and loses them quickly on his signature spin for an amazing finish. He's underrated even until now. His name rarely comes in on discussions about best point guards in the league. But man, only a few real ones know how insane he was. 🔥
Tony was the best of the best when it comes down to playmaking
Hereos Never Die he also had one of the best floater of all time
Duncan is usually revered by people as the "system" of the Spurs and it is true for the most part. But THAT 2014 team? The "system" in the beautiful game era Spurs was Parker.
Hash Hood and his 2013 Finals until the Ray Allen shot was perfect. He made the team plays a beautiful game against, it’s my opinion the best Miami Heat back in 2013.
Fr, true point gawd lol
That spin move was pretty sick 👀
Merci Tony!
Tony is so underrated man 🤧 One of the Greatest finishers and quickest guards the league has ever seen. So smart and experienced. He’s paved the way for many other European players with his example and successful career.
Yeh but no european was as quick as he is. Still I think he is the fastest European ever to play in the NBA
Tony Parker played with so much heart. You can see how much of his body he sacrifices just to make a play.
Yea that injury a couple years ago was mainly due to wear and tear I would assume
This team was so good
Only people following the NBA since 2000 know how GREAT this man was. One of the fastest playmakers ever!
I've always been a Bulls fan, but man, I love the Spurs...
fp9623 just like him haha
Me Exactly!! Same wit me!!
I’m here to say that the NBA 75 has majorly messed up by not including this man or even talking about his accomplishments. Severely due to having teammates like Duncan, Robinson, Kawhi, Ginobili, even coach Pop all overshadowed Tony Parker. Top 10 PG’s of ALL TIME. I’m here to debate this if you feel like losing badly.
Man I felt the same way when I saw the list and Tony Parkers name was not on it. Absolutely criminal to leave him out and instead have Westbrook in there.
@@JustAnotherAlex to be honest Westbrook deserve it but not Dame btw
@@sudowoodo5826 no westbrick only deserve it because of the ball hog triple double in okc.
@@zilverman7820 yeah and the ball hog triple doubles brought that shitty ass team to the playoffs and he got an MVP title
TP is a top 10 pg? I thought everyone knew this
One of the most underrated point guards in this era. Made very smart decisions on the court & he could finish over big defenders. His spins on his drives to the rim were one of the smoothest I've seen in the game.
So underrated… this dude was a beast!
The term ‘unguardable’ gets thrown around way too much, but TP in his prime was truly unguardable off the dribble going into the paint. He cooked everyone.
This is amazing! There are no point guards like him anymore. They all want to shoot 3s.
Russell Westbrook.
Demar Derozen?
Derrick rose
Maxey coming 🤫
@@Yeen_ um john wall?
Iverson will forever be a legend, but Parker's handle and drive to the basket are not to be overlooked.
both HOF players
TP9 "The Pick and Roll Maestro"
Manu "The Scientist" Ginobili
Tim "Big Fundamental" Duncan
GoSPURSGo!
AMAZING FINISHER.. I have never seen anyone like him
Most Underrated PG of all time with 4 rings
This should have millions of views already! These highlights are amazing! People are really missing out! Tony Parker was incredible! He was unstoppable in his prime! A future hall of famer for sure!
Well predicted! 😜
Glad I've been fortunate enough to see each championship and grow up watching the Big 3. Damn I miss these guys, just not the same without em #GoSpursGo #spursnation
I'm here after watching his docu film on Netflix
is it good?
@@jackblackwell4302 yeah bruh!
I really didn't know how good he really was till I watched that documentary
Parker is so underrated. His full speed spin move lay-up and floater are God-Tier level.
Grew up watching Tony Parker and I’m from San Antonio born and raised. We loved these players and this era and everything they did for us.
One of the most underrated point guards in history. Nobody could stay in front of this guy and once he worked on his jumpshot to where it was almost automatic he was unstoppable
Most youngins dont know how deadly tony was
True
a lot of people believe cp3, nash, deron williams and rondo were better than him and they're not even youngins 🤷♂️ tp has always been disregarded in term of his ability as a pg and "killer" instinct on the court
True but I know that he backstabbed his teammate
@@dylannewman6311 ???
Tony was in an era of great PGs and he went toe to toe, he made a lot of them look foolish with the speed and the moves, super underrated.
I've never seen another player use the spin move so effectively
Duncan : bankshot
Parker : Spin move and Tear Drop
Ginobili : Eurostep
I never liked the Spurs but man was I a huge Parker fan. Easily one of the fastest guys in nba history with the ball. His floaters and mid rangers were close to unstoppable. A very underrated player who could’ve easily averaged 25+ ppg in his career if his team built the system for him to.
Tony got that ultra quick first step and the body control to do that spin move. Underrated.
That crossover, 95MPH spin moves and reverse layups… so sick.
The most complete PG of his Era.. very underrated in every aspect 4 rings with Finals MVP.. without stat padding.
He went straight at Shaq in his prime who was ready and waiting and shot a perfect teardrop.
He is so underrated. Such a pleasure to see him play and real instinct for the game. He can do moves that even him did not planned and be accurate with it also he could slip through many players sometimes it is crazy...
Damn this dude was one of the greatest who ever done it.
French Power !!
@damjenoeshka wym
@damjenoeshka nobody ever said french is a race dumbass
@damjenoeshka juste le pays ou tout les américains rêvent d’aller😅

Tu crois qu’on t’as pas reconnu han solo?
I remember seeing him in his first season - he was raw, but he flashed this spin at the top and drained a 17 footer... I looked at my boy and said, “he’s gonna be good.” I was not wrong.

11:09 holy crap
7:05 and ya'll never knew he could dunk
literally every player in the NBA can dunk.
We knew
how many point guard's highlights are almost entirely shots in the paint? this dude was unreal, you couldn't stop him from getting to the basket
People nowadays are always talking about guards initiating or absorbing contact on their way to the rim. I think the art of avoiding contact is underrated.
He was just so good. the seasons in 2012-14 he was just a beast, MVP candidate
he reminded me how beauty NBA basketball was
I came after someone on Twitter was an average point guard who lucked on a great team. I need to be reminded how great he was! So underrated!
Thank you, NBA, for making this.
Timmy - Bank shot
Manu - Euro Step
Tony - Spin move
Pop - Genius
These guys did not invented each move but they definitely owned it..
“Everything in San Antonio was kind of a perfect storm” - Kobe Bryant 🐍
I lost my ankles and got spun around just watching this greatness. 😅 He's a master of the basics. Tony Parker, a legend 💪
lol
What I like about him he never hesitated to run toward the basket to score, when 3 or four defenders in from of him much taller than him, and he scores.
Amazing to watch.
9TH ALL-TIME in playofff points history . And the best spin-move.. What elseeeeee to say this man's a legend
TOP 10 best point guard since the 90's (top 15 in history maybe) ! He didn't only played well, he also made his team winning (Big up to Chris Paul or Steve Nash) !!
It's not "Tony Parker," it's "2007 NBA Finals MVP, Four-Time NBA Champion Tony Parker, Breaker of Ankles, Master of the Teardrop, Human Spin-Cycle, Guy Who Could Dunk But Rarely Ever Needed To."
The spin move, the crossover, the teardrop, English off the glass, one man fast break, all on display here.
“The tear drop”
Beautiful
Tony Parker is a living legend
Tony Parker = “Layup God” !!! The man lived in the paint!!
Those up high and into the baskets should only have worked a few times, but this guy made a HoF career out of those shots. Also, that handel of his!! The ball was like an extension of himself. You'd see him dribble into a traffic of humanity inside the post and get the ball wherever he wanted. His game was crazy.
Thank you for everything TP9. My favorite player. I’d always try to emulate what I saw him doing on the court whenever I balled😂TP, Duncan, Ginobili. The reason I’m a Spurs fan for life. Never flashy. Just breaking ankles and getting in the paint silky smooth.
Tony Parker is the best in his time… he’s waaaay better than lebron IMO
One of the best PG in history
Hall of fame for me
Le rageux Du game that’s not a opinion it’s a fact.
Merci Tony
Tony Parker is a wizard with the ball and his spin move is god tier.
He was such a good player... Ive always liked him
Tony "tornado spin" Parker
From France ⭐⭐🇫🇷🌪️
Il est français, t'en es sûr ?
@Theballers 91 c'était de l'ironie. Tout le monde sait qu'il est français, je trouve ça ridicule de le dire à chaque fois.
@Theballers 91 c'est surtout qu'être chauvin c'est un truc de bœuf.
@Theballers 91 si tu tapes chauvin sur Google tu as la définition. Je viens de regarder
@Theballers 91 c'est ça 👍
His spin move and ability to change direction quickly is really sick dude, you had to react fast to guard him
This is honestly one of the most entertaining highlights I’ve ever seen. The whole video is of defenders picking up their dry cleaning 😂😅
I remember seein him in a pass, shoot, and dribble contest during an all-star weekend. Blew all other guards away. Loved TP.
i honestly think that at their peak ginobli, parker, and tim duncan would have destroyed michael jordan's bulls..but we'll never know
He literally has the most unguardable spin move I’ve ever seen
Tony has always been exciting to watch. His paint game, assists, and quickness were legendary. Truly one of the greats.
TP9 vs Nash is one of the best matchups when we talk about pgs, always fun to see these 2 guys compete.
All the San Antonio fans love Tony, we love you tony ✌️ 👌 ⚪️⚫️
That spin move was sick
Tony parker⭐👑is an ultimate machine,he cn make wthever he wants, truly wnderful to wtch..🏆
Tony PARKER was a ankle destroyer #UNDERATED
Damn im feeling dizzy already just watching him play. Those spins and dribbles were something else. Have a great retirement man u deserve it🙌!!
How dfq does tony parker not included in top 75 while dame and a.d is in there? Parker was a better pg than dame no disrespect but all dame highlights are just long three while parker has sick moves and great passes. Also a champion.
They were the perfect trio, blessed to have seen them play together
Legend !!! spin move, premier pas, la folie furieuse, Parker ça allait très vite sur un terrain, plus un mental hors pair !
France is proud of you 🇫🇷
I thank you guys in France for letting us have him for many years in San Antonio!
In France: Jordan and Tony Parker.. More than just a player of basketball
Those are some nice highlights
What a treat it was to watch TP live. Forever grateful.
His dribbling is so smooth
Merci Tony! 🙏🏼
He was not scoring as much as other point guards but he was so efficient and even more in Playoffs
Man I sure missed him playing. He is super underrated and underappreciated .This guys may not be athletic but he was the quickest PG ever.
Parker, Ginobili and Duncan, what a big three. If i wasn't a jazz fan, i would be a Spurs because of this guys
Parker and Gino were so underrated. Amazing players.
His jersey always looked oversized for him
Those were the days. Jerseys well basically Tall tees almost down to the knees on some players and very loosely fit
@@AE711texas exactly...today its mostly regular tees plus short shorts like in the '80s...lol
Why tf you got a skeleton penis as a pfp
Dude is 6'2 he is fucking tall, but that jersey and the fact that the others are giants make him look really short.
I'm french and i didn't know that Parker was so good. Thx for this video, very impressive skill.
Ultra underrated,what a fantastic player
Simply beautiful moves...Never been this awestruck by any player.dont understand why he is so underrated.great video 👌
