First Fishing Session on Bali | Indonesia Fishing 🇮🇩

My time in Indonesia has not gone according to plan. However, I finally managed to get some bait and do some fishing. The action was moderate, but my hookup ratio was low. Through it all I still managed several new species, including some beautiful ones. The highlight was definitely the two blackpatch triggerfish (Rhinecanthus verrucosus) that ended up on the end of my line. The day wasn't awful, but let's hope for a better tomorrow.

Dude, I wonder how big that first fish was! Seemed like the fight of either a bigger trigger or maybe some sort of jack. Nice session either way

If I had to guess I think it was some type of trevally. I saw some large silvery fish every once in awhile at this spot and others have told me they caught them here. Could've been cool to at least get a look at it.
