Imagine being an 11 year old who begged their mom to take them to see this band after hearing Mother Tongue on the radio, only to get in the third row and have them start this ditty up.
I would be laughing my ass off to see the mother's reaction
mother tongue didn't exist on this one lol
Imagine them thinking death wall would be simply to make way for the band to sing in between the crowd. Lol
ouch 💀
The thing is, wouldn't it be silly to go to a concert to see a band after hearing just one song?
Can we just appreciate that bmth are playing music as heavy as this at sold out arenas.
I mean, back in ‘91 Metallica, Pantera, AC/DC and a few other bands filled up an entire fucking airfield in Russia, think the total amount at most was like 2,000,000 people

At this show Oli had his voice in the best condition.. that screams, growls fuck.. so clear .. best performance of bmth ever!
Agreed. He sounds awesome
not really lol you could tell his voice was hurting him big time
@@frankie6225 come on man, Its a live show and we are talking about oli Sykes not Sam Carter... This performance is pretty sick
For present oli and his voice now, yeah
Oli now yeah! Here though…eh
I know it’s been said dozens of times but good God I can’t imagine the look on the parents faces who brought their young teenage daughters to this show when they started playing this song then Oli starts saying “Clap your hands to the sound of every first born dying now”
The parents prolly didn't understand any of the lyrics lol
at the time of this dvd BMTH had not yet released any alternative albums, so the public knew what to expect!
lol irl
I was a young teenage daughter when this came out. Both this and my Japanese/Korean music made my parents uncomfortable lol. I got yelled at
MORE after coming back from kpop concerts than rock though (racism!). Now 15 years later Kpop is so famous they are more accepting, I wish the same would happen with rock bands!
"and watch the rivers turn to blood, death will stand where life once stoOOOOOOOOOOOd"

Also BMTH: Absolutely kill it and have a blast playing it.
😂
You cant escape the roots 😁
@@fiend1385 Indeed
idk he's into how into it they are but i dont think it's a "blast" for his voice, that's why he avoids it. It's like you are a great performer but every time you go on you know you'll injure your ankle. But people REALLY want to see the ankle breaker! So you go on and do it and just enjoy the hell out of it because you know it's not an everyday thing....
I think they are afraid of loosing new fans with their old stuff. Fans that maybe even know that they were DC back in the day. Also Oli's voice can't do it anymore on a regular basis I understand. That is also one of the reasons they got "softer" bit imo better😊
All the kids that were introduced to BMTH via AMO literally dying
I was introduced from Amo and TTS and I love it lmao
amo wasnt released back then
I wasn’t introduced during amo....but I did make out with Medusa once
They would have left when they started playing Shadow Moses.

the fact that this man went from his voice sounding absolutely destroyed to THIS in a couple of years.... im shocked. so happy he's recovered
I think that’s before his voice was destroy... this show was in 2014. I know some show before was not amazing, like RaR in 2011 but after 2015 he really lost his ability to scream. But its start to come back, some of his 2019 show are amazing
@@HazmatFire59 yeah, i just remember seeing some shows around 2013 that were pretty brutal. seemed to be a hit or miss around then. he sounds amazing now though
@@skyer7530 yeah, guess its luck or bad luck, maybe how he warm up his voice before some show or how stay hydrated 🤷🏻♂️
@@HazmatFire59 well, Olí used a bad technique for screaming since the beggining, so fucking his vocal chords twice was product of that, in recent years I can hear a better and safer screaming and I can't wait to hear it live
@@HazmatFire59 Ya it's not as heavy as their early days but I'd still love to see them make music like how he sounds here over what they've been doing the last few years.

FOR REAL! I remember when Count Your Blessings dropped, I was 13 and absolutely loved it, it blows my mind it’s been almost 20 years since then.
Imagine that was performed after "drown"
Both songs were performed on this concert btw

I love the little "one more time for Curtis" at the end. It sounds so humble, especially after a headbanger like Pray for Plagues.
Dude, i see that shit, and when i watch on other guitarist, its like, is that curits, and oli says, one more time for curtis, and like wtf happened 😂

What they get: a heart attack!
Oh no 😳
NOBODY thought a deathcore band would sell out Wembley and get this reaction when these guys started.
This was in 2014 for everyone wondering, it is in my opinion one of the best live performances from Oliver Sykes, singing the original way he used to, is kind of hard to find this live performance but holy shit every song its worth it, this could be a separated live album, top tier BMTH performance.
thank you, goosebumps hearing this again live
This mixed in with Sempiternal. Oh the joy I would feel being there. Bet Oli was praying for his vocals not plagues 😂😂 but he did good after all that time. I bet he was nervous as fuck after his vocals were damaged😬 so very gutsy doing this for his fans. And that wall of death 😮😮 not bad
this is their best performance of this song
His literaly spitting his guts out for us with this performance
I saw these guys in a dingy basement bar in 2008 and he has come a loooooong way with his vocals. Oli Sykes was seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met even when he didn’t have to be to some teenagers outside of his tour bus and I think it’s that personality that makes him so likable. I can’t say I like their new stuff but the 14 year old in me that grew up on count your blessings is so proud of this progress :’)
How'd they sound in the dingy basement bar compared to this ?
Still one of the best deathcore breakdowns in my opinion
Holy shit I forgot how damn heavy BMTH was when I was a teenager. That breakdown holds up for sure
wish they still wrote music like this
All of us, mate
I like to think if Oli didn’t ruin his voice the first couple albums, they would’ve stuck with the sound. They adapted pretty fucking well though.
Same, but performing this pisses them off lol. Oli's mentality now is way diff than it was during CYB.
no collab please
@@InhaleAIR That and they just "got bored" after Suicide Season, so they changed it up... A LOT
Rip the kids who got moshed when this song was played 😔
2:29 That jazzy drum fill at the end of the phrase put a big grin on his face. Despite saying they don't want to play this, they're clearly having a blast :D
He was probably nervous. Praying for his vocals. Not plagues 😂😂 and who can blame him after they were ripped to shit. Id be nervous too. It End the tour.😬 But he was dedicated for his fans. That says alot. And he sounded great 👍

prolly as good as Suicide Silence(with Mitch obviously)

The amount of energy in this. You can feel it thru the video
I like how you can hear a good chunk of the crowd chant "pray for plagues" long before Oli even mentions any of their songs but just talks about the bands history 🤘
It's amazing to see how this song is considered to be a god tier classic now. I remember hearing this song for the first time in like 2009 and being blown away! All while everyone shitting all over them for being 'poser metal.'
Ohhhh how times have changed for the better! After seeing this performance I feel like i'm 17 again haha

This break down still gives me goosebumps.
Love how far they’ve come and grown musically.
Me too. Did you hear their Collab with lotus eater? 1 year ago. And people saying Oli ain't for it anymore. Nope. Just a choice. He brings it when he wants too. The song is called obliterate btw. It's crazy. Lotus eater sound so unique. Like BMTH are. But in a different way. I love new metal/rock. Whatever it's bloody called nowadays 😂😂 I'm 50 and find all these genre names confusing. Don't think BMTH can be pigeon holed to any genre ATM. And I'm here for it😅xx

As someone who started listening to this band with count your blessings as a teen back in the mid 2000s and have followed them all the way and love their new music also. It’s so mad the transformation this band has gone
I seen them live when 8 years ago when I was 15, I think it was the American Dream Tour and it will forever be the best concert I've been to. Especially seeing Chelsea Grin at the same time, 2 of my favorite bands
