It's incredible to hear some people complain. I've gone to Maiden shows since the Powerslave tour in 1985 and it's unbelievable that the boys are still going strong after all of this time. Lineup changes, changes in music popularity, an entirely different industry structure, health challenges; they've weathered it all while never compromising. Most, if not all, of their peers have retired, died or can no longer perform. I attended the LA Forum show and had the time of my life, and I've seen over a dozen Maiden shows over the years. Did I hear some flubs..? I did...but my goodness, that's live music being performed without any backing tapes by men approaching 70! Or in Nicko's case, just past it...and he sounded thunderous on Tuesday. So enjoy them while you can because when they're gone, there will be no more like them. It's a privilege to still be able to see them perform at such a high level.
Going to the Show in T.O on the 26th, I think you guys have the best shot of Davey playing live during wasted years I've ever seen he never stops smiling.
Kick ass. When I was your age back in the 80s I was drawing their albums as most of my art endeavors always lead to Eddy. This was nice to be part of you guys trip...thanks.
this was fun! We are truly blessed to see Maiden play Alexander. Can't wait for December in São Paulo. And the To Tame a Land campaing for Run for your Lives is in full swing now. Anything's possible! Up´the Irons!
Can't believe was 17,first seen them Bradford St George's Hall, England 1981,coudant get a ticket, even fan club, for the UK gigs, next year, upset about that been life long fan,but all the tickets sold, especially newer fans,so pleased, will appreciate, and enjoy the new shows, thanks blood brothers 👍
I know you from the forum!!😂😂😂 watching now, hope it was a great time. I’m seeing Maiden in MN, October 22nd. Will be my 4th time. Seeing them a 5th time next year in Germany!! Never left the US before, will be quite the experience!
I’m sad because I didn’t get to go to the concert in Australia but my dad and my big brother did, and I don’t think they will be doing a tour on my favourite album “Somewhere In Time” again soon I really wanted to go but bad luck. Hopefully they come back to Australia soon. Up the Irons
brilliant recap of a Great night, how long was the Merch queue, ridiculous! it was definitely different from seeing the boys as usual in the UK but i loved it! 🤘
@@Capnharris I bought the 666 biker Eddie T shirt without looking at the back properly. it’s got San Diego, LA and Aftershock but not LAS VEGAS!!! gutted as i saw loads of the book of souls Vegas T’s and they were awesome. really wanted a US tour shirt but they didn’t seem to do one!👍
I was at the San Diego show. I was surprised at how sloppy some of the soloing was. Maiden is usually on point when on stage, so I didn't expect that. Even with that, still a very enjoyable show.
Great post for what’s to come to San Antonio on 17 Nov really excited to see them again 🤘 laughing at when you guys mention how hot it is 😆 I live in Texas I know and avoid any outside shows. Oh by the way I just received my Ace High Eddie turned out great 🤘
@chrismargetts7248 we did too so see you around! It varies. Some venues we are held inside for 15 or so minutes, occasionally we are able to buy merch and drinks but not every time. Sometimes they run late and just send us right down.
@@Capnharris Awesome! Thanks for the info. If it's your first time in SLC, be sure to stop in to The Heavy Metal Shop and say hi to my homie Kevin. It's not to far from the venue.
Their age starts to shows but can also be heard. I am glad they're still around and I'll see them in Montreal in a few weeks BUT, the performances aren't what they used to be.
Oh man, not to be a “Janick hater”, but he’s really cutting through your phone audio, and it’s quite sloppy 🙁 saw them in San Diego on Friday and it was a such a great show, but the boys seemed a bit tired 😳
@@Capnharris most definitely. I’m just so thankful they’re still doing this for us at their age. Seeing them again in LA on Tuesday; hopefully they get some rest with a couple of days off!
saw them in the 90´s a few times, but meanwhile i will skip them. To old, to expensive and with the good old times in memory no way i would torture my self meanwhile
Well, try to travel from Europe to Australia, New Zealand, then to USA with 65 years of age, and let's see if you manage to not catch a cold or the flu once in a while 😅 there are bands that cancelled shows because a member catched the flu. It is what it is. It may be less obvious in those bands that are just screaming and grunting, or a pop band in which singing doesn't require much from your voice. Also, it doesn't sound to me like he'd be sick - maybe he's getting older and you compare to Bruce in his 30s?
I was at that show. was 104 degrees outside..in my opinion that opening band was the worst band i ever saw. was the usual cluster getting out of there after the show.. Iron Maiden was good but ive seen them do better shows in Vegas but still was a good time.\MM/

Couldn't have said it better myself.
"a BACKDROP of Fear of the Dark" - Bruce's taking a piss after the Alexander drape didn't get pushed out the song before... priceless!!!!!

Yeah he looked very happy. So nice to see

Shame they got slow and boring
Brilliant! You guys certainly know how to have a good time… loved it… Thank you…
Up the irons X 🤘
Looked great watching Janick!! He puts his heart and soul into live shows. His playing is great too....
Maiden sounded great! Wish I could see this tour but hoping we will get a chance to see them for a Canadian leg of Run for Your Lives
Very nice vlog.. Greetings from Cyprus.. See you in Texas.. Fort Worth, San Antonio.. 😎😎

I think my first Maiden gig was The Boat Club here in Nottingham, circa 1980..I'd have to check my ticket collection.
Awesome video, making me stoked for the show in Denver. I'm taking my little sister for her first concert. We can't wait!
Great vid as always.
Saw the show in Manchester last year, was superb, especially Bruce’s vocals. Can’t believe Dave still uses a lead!
Man the Hu go freaking hard
We loved them!
They are so badass. Saw them at their start in France... They pulled a full crowd up within 4 songs... BEASTS
They're great, I saw them open for Megadeth two years ago. But I wish The Warning was opening.
They sound much better in this video, than for example in Australia.🎉
What songs did they play, first time hearing them and loved it

Looks like it was a good time, I was sitting because the seat was free! Can’t wait till next year for the next tour and beyond!
LMFAO! Job well done! Still riding the high. What a Show! Bruce is a BEAST!
As usual an excellent vlog👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎸
Love watching the Security guard thinking 'what the hell' in the gun battle with Eddie!
This is amazing show, thanks for posting.❤
Going to the show in LA on 10.8.24 and also going to the Fort Worth Texas show!!!! 11.16.24

Such a great video, wish I went to vegas for this one. Im going to the LA gig tomorrow 😎
So great vlog as usual !
I can't believe I bought Power Slave when it came out, 40 years ago when I was fifteen. I would like to go back, at two minutes to midnight!
They should have just used the Alexander backdrop for fear of the dark to fuck with us
This is good stuff... love the vlogs.
I was there with you waiting for first to the barrier

No merch for us last night, maybe at another show!

what a great show :)
I love how you guys ended, what looks like, at In-N-Out Burger! Best burgers ever, second only to the burgers at Matts bar in Minneapolis :-)
You got it! Little In-N-Out to end the evening.
See You in Arizona
I'll be there in San Antonio !!!!
We got FTTB in SLC. Did you guys get access to merch before heading to the barrier? Any tips for our first time FTTB? Thanks!

its pretty cold in england at this time enjoy the show guys CHEERS
Great vlog as always. I hope you guys stay safe from Milton. Is the Cap'n Harris crew planning on going to Charlotte?
Hope to see you guys in Az 🤘🏼
The next tour will be called ‘the beast on the walker’ tour. 😂 man I’m getting old. 😢
Can't wait to see them here in Mexico City, Nov 20th
Saw them when they were here in Melbourne Australia just one month ago
Vegas Great Success!! Until next time 😄🤘
Iron Maiden rules!
Hope you guys will dodge the hurricane Milton??

So the San Diego show was a “tune-up”? At least they got the Alexander the Great banner right! 🤣
They didn't have the Fan cards in Japan. Which was a shame. Didn't have a support act either.
You guys had an alevator in your room?
Thaaats something from the future. 😂
How was iron maiden connect again
December 19 Indianapolis I’m there
WOW WOW
Is Iron Maiden a real successful band in the USA?
Iron maiden
Hell yeah, brother.

maiden drank too much what in japan ? :_:
Bruce always gets sick it seems, happened twice on his solo tour and now again
Other band mates may get just as sick, just less obvious since they're not singing.
