it’s crazy how many people haven’t seen monster. like how can people live their lives knowing they haven’t watched such a masterpiece???? i don’t understand. i feel so bad for the people who haven’t watched or won’t watch or dropped or don’t understand this anime. they’re missing out.
It was hard enough getting friends interested in this show in high school in 2004 when it was still airing new episodes in Japan. Complaints basically were that it was boring, slow, not enough humor, animation wasn't flashy, didn't understand where the plot was going etc Alas anime production companies cater even more to the lowest-common-denominator now than they did then. People have been fed so much of the artistic cultural equivalent of fast food that when they're asked to taste something with a more complicated flavor they spit it out in disgust.
Truly, this plays in all the show's most epic moments, and when it plays you know an epic climax is about to occur: this plays right before the library fire in Munich occurs, and the scene where Christof is about to kill Eva right when Tenma intervenes.
@@mlmooose8206 I think it's that scene where tenma encounters young adult Johan for the first time and Johan tells him that he had heard tenma say the director and the rest would be better off dead so he did what he wanted, correct me if I'm wrong
This track just screams "Johan's here, run you fools!"
I don’t. See it
Nah it screams Roberto or Lunge’s here

Johan's on the war path. Run! Run!
The music playing in Johan's head when he asked for coffee with cream and two sugars; but he got a coffee with cream and one sugar.
"Welp, time to mindrape the barista."
-Johan Liebert, probably
I think this also plays when Grimmer is trapped with Suk and the special police are about to corner them. Epic.

"I only did what you wished happen."
Who said this?
@@mlmooose8206 Johan himself.

The dub has different music, because of licensing issues.
