2Pac's mother, Afeni Shakur, died in 2016
Hands down, no question period
G.O.A.T 🐐
I’m a white guy in the Middle of Pennsylvania, me and all my friends grew up on pac and we all believe the world would at least be a little better if he was still around. His hunger for change is sorely missed
Amen
Amen
Amen
probably one of the best descriptions ive ever heard , Amen !
You're also a clown for stating your skincolor, but then i saw you're american. So it all makes sense. Smh.
I love seeing people from a totally different background appreciate real hip-hop like Pac and really listening and HEARING whats being said. Bravo!
I don't think Pac he is just a rapper... He was a philosopher activists Revolutionist and More... I don't even like rap that's much but I can't stop listening this legend.
✊🏾
And a prophet
Facts i stopped lookong at Pac as a rapper once me against the world came out.
When i was young and angry that album talked to my soul and helped me find a light to follow.

Tupac, "Still I Rise". His lyrics in the beginning of that proves he was a lyrical genius.
2pac:
- until the end of time
- life goes on
One of my all time favorite pac songs👍🏿👍🏿
no doubt about it
4tay👍👎🌉 filmoe 🤞#ogcjm🕊️
@@enoyaj1646 I actually liked 4tays verse on this!!!! pac had a way of bringing the best in rappers featured on his songs
Me too here🇰🇪🇰🇪
People always look at me weird when I say that 2pac helped raise me. I was born in 90 and clung to every word this man said. Growing up black and poor, he speaks to your soul. The anger, insecurity, etc.
Same here, and I grew up in a different continent. Every word I listen, not just in his music, but also any time he spoke. Totally the greatest.
He was a true poet.
Raised me too
Nobody ever broke this song in the way you did, thank you
Tupac is the G.O.A.T and it's not even up for a debate... Ahhh
Tupac is a legend. May he rest in peace 🙏
2 pac was a gemini thats why he flipped emotion so much lyrically.
Being a pac close follower since the 90's, its pretty amazing to find someone only now, over 20 years later, able to resonate this profoundly with his music... You can IMAGINE the effect it had in the saga it was actually released.😌
True! Crazy thing is many of his biggest hits. He never got to see the impact they made worldwide. They aired on radios after his death. Like, dear Mama, for instance, I think he recorded in 1992. Changes came out in maybe 1998. It's bs man he should have been here for it all. What he achieved in 4 years is ridiculous
Pac is a lyrical genius! He can do record 5 + songs in a day! Truly blessed with many gifts and a Genius!
Only New York people disagree with pac
As a black man myself, there's a part that touches me so much anytime I hear the song or think about it. He said: *"They say it's the WHITE MAN I SHOULD FEAR,BUT IT'S MY OWN KIND DOING ALL THE KILLING HERE"*
He's right!!! 😔
Heart-stopping line. For some reason it makes me think of another record that came out that same year, De La’s Stakes Is High.

I love your compassion, your understanding and analysis of this great body of work.
This keeps getting better, plus chemistry between two hosts, score 🙌🏼

And they say it's the white man I should fear
But, it's my own kind doin' all the killin' here… 🤯
That's all yall hear. SMH now repeat the message to white man's world and much other music

@davidsmith5551 you gotta accept reality dude. The good and the bad. Yes racism is horrible and caused alot of these issues. But so many black youth dont make it to adult hood because of gang culture... if you want to try and fight for the black man you also gotta fight against the people killin many of the black kids...
Idk man, i love pac and what he stood for. And i hate racism. But gang culture is crazy. Dont get upset cause pac called it like it is.
Lovely to see Carice van Houten from Game of Thrones reacting to my favorite Hip Hop artist. I remember when she first appeared as Melisandre at the end of the first episode of the second season, I was mesmerized, and her character's mysterious and haunting theme music is still stuck in my mind; I can't believe it's been ten years.
Thats what i loved about Pac from the begining He spoke directly from heart to heart, you could feel his pain, he was honest and direct. Back in 1992, when I was 12, I admired him for how he could express himself at such a young age, how intelligent he was and how profound. For me, his music was and is always for all those who are always fighting, who dare to be different and get beaten up for it, who have been screwed over by their closest friends and family and have to make it on their own, who have been treated unfairly but also that you should not just survive but also live. Now, at 44, I still feel it and I am proud to have been a true fan and admirer of this artist and person for so long. His death back in 1996, when I was 16 and had just left school, hit me hard and I cried a lot. In the village where I come from, where there are no foreigners, I was often bullied and insulted for this taste in music, but for me Those were the best 90s and good for my development. Thanks Pac from a true Fan from Eastgermany !!!
We are together bro. We miss Tupac. From Libreville/Gabon in central Africa.
Iam a metalhead but i have to listen to this dude.
RIP 2pac He died With 25 and is an Icon and Legend today With so much poetry, music and movies and
He is the greatest what If in history for Sure.
RIP cant Imagine what He would have done from 96 till now
I love the way you break down & analyse the lyrics word by word. To me that's important, it's more important than drawing these popular comparisons of 'who's better than who'
Pac was o another level in every sense
so true🤝
I salute you guys for having an open mind!!!
Thanks for sharing. First time folks actually listened to the words.
Just like your listening, seeking & learning in depth about these lyrics, I wish so many more could to hear your breakdown in that way. About learning others, not judging, seeing what's really going on in order to help them. Carice, I wish those who have, had a heart like yours.
Great reaction especially the 2pac voice changes
More Tupac please, great breakdown and perspective but we gotta play the track all the way through…
2023 my mother still remember him .such a nice kid
I became one of the Biggest 2Pac fans in 1993 when his " KEEP YA HEAD UP" MTV premiere video was released in October 1993. I was 11 years old and that song and video was 100% relatable to me single mother on welfare kicking up dust thinking who the Hell cares .
Loved ur reaction
So many tears is another track where he talks to God
Reading the words is so much different than listening to them. The pain in his words was evident, he was hurt and felt trapped. So he tried to fight his way out of that dark corner
Pacs mother, Afeni, passed a coupled year's ago. His step father Matulu Shakur was recently released from prison due to health problems. He has little left to live, diagnosed with stage 3 blood cancer
Just a small fact
Thank you for understanding what a gift we lost and all the pain behind it. 2Pac is a legend none can compare to him. An actor movies/tv, dancer (digital underground), lyrist, writer, poet, activist, and philanthropist and he was only 25 can you even imagine what it would be like to have him with us today. I wish they had protected him better as he rose to fame at such a young age. It still pains me to know we lost him.
TUPAC simply the best 🐐
I loved this breakdown. Watched numerous reactions, but enjoyed the focus on cadences in this one. Please consider doing more 2Pac or hip-hop in general. ❤
No one can ever compare to the feeling the he brought to music. That why he’s the GOAT
Tupac was ahead of his time, the mans lyrics still relevant in 2023.
More 2pac!!
Pac was the evolution of poetry. He was so mature as a kid, what would a verse from a 30 or 40 year old Pac sound like.
I think about that all the time. The world missed out on a lot when he left.
Wow.....I got goosebumps listening to this. Gods lyrics
Great Reaction, Pac mom pass in 2016 ( RIP Afeni Shakur )
That song yall had pulled up first “lord knows” is what’s you should done that song is deeep and beautiful just like this one good job on this one❤️
If you hear this 2Pac Song and doesnt make you think something wrong with you. 2Pac was a wonderful poet. Amazing will never be forgotten.
No one was or is better than Pac... No One🙏
Rip to my big Kuzzo 2pac 👑 thank y'all for this
I’m here for the Tupac reactions!! Reason I subscribe
A terrible loss... RIP Tupac Amaru Shakur.
I hope both of you can keep reacting to more Tupac's music,
what about "White man's world" or "Keep Ya Head Up", those would be great!
or even to one of his interviews, with "Ed Gordon" is a good one.
outstanding reaction my friends...
The way you broke it down to her you got yourself a new subscriber
is this woman melisandre from game of thrones? holy she looks like her so much
Great analysis to an artist I hadn't listened to in awhile. Thank u
The Synchronicities in my life have been endless lately. And this is another one, beyond the algorithm etc. Came to this video cause I can't stop listening to this song on RUclips where it was readily accessible. Most of Tupac's songs that hit a deep emotional cord with me are his humanitarian anthems - and though this one is that as well - it's more personal in nature, for him - and by extension and in my own way, for me as well(despite a totally different background). The pain in his words and voice here - I feel with every ounce of my being. Continually betrayed and left for dead by those he would've taken a bullet for. And yet he's the one who has to be resuscitated - riddled with bullet holes. Like "Keep Ya Head Up", "Changes" and a few others - the tears just pour out my eyes without me even understanding them. This man was so chock full of soul, had the heart of a lion.
Anyways, a week or two ago, I bought the book "The Myth of Normal". I was buying stuff I needed immediately on Amazon so it would be quick (I know, Amazon - right! ha - I hate them but so it is) - when the book was suddenly advertised to me at checkout. I have no memory of looking up anything on Gabor Mate on Amazon, but I bought it cause he is a man I have long greatly admired, and it seemed important for some reason. Then as I'm watching this video I find out the beautiful man speaking with such honesty and humility and truth is Gabors son who co-wrote the book. Was completely random as I didn't know, the algorithm just suggested the video from listening to the song. I guess it can be right sometimes haha.
Thank you both so much for this, it meant a lot to me to hear such earnest voices, such beautiful people you both are. Keep up your good work in this fallen shell of a world.
Wow thank you so much
This is an amazing review, ive been a pac fan for a long time!
You guys should listen to thugz mansion and review it its definitely a very deep song that has alot of memorable quotes.
"Tell the lady in the liquor store shes forgiven."
I completely agree with you about the cadence 🔥👌🏾👌🏾your on point like Icicles
You sound great chief flowing with his lyrics . Great analogy of the goat..
U are two of q kind, God bless u for taking ur time to understand him
Pac! Pac represents the struggle in the black community! He touch so many live from every culture there will never be another amaru Shakur! Long live pac
Great man but the violence whom attacks on God's kingdom took him too soon before he realize Christ need him more .GOD bless..
Great breakdown on this song bro 👍🏾

tupac moms passed away 5 years ago . yes , she was a part of the black panthers .
Appreciate this.
Dude I love your channel. Keep it up guys
HE'S 🎵 TAKE YOU ON CRAZY RIDE
If we had more people like this woman who feels for what some of us go threw just by being brought into this world. I am from the south side of Chicago hearing gunshots was a normal day for me. I was lucky n made it out it took me years to understand that is not normal and life
Thank God i found this channel
Ay I appreciate the love on this video but people who followed Pac from Oak town to the East coast n back to Cali, from acting to rapping, know and understand that society made him a poet and sort of a prophet in the music he put out! He didn’t get into hard gangsta shit until he was setup n shot! Now those from the hood like myself in the mid 80’s-00, we don’t look for sympathy from well lived liberals. Majority of RAP in those days was an everyday newspaper to our lives but even when it looked like harsh environments some managed to survive and thrive from it and we become a beacon to those still trapped in this revolving door!
5:34 His mom died several years ago.
I still get chills listening to Pac...the older i get it seems like im becoming more of an empath with certain music...Pac was more than just a rapper and he didn't try to be a "super lyrical" rapper...but he was very technical with his writing styles...in high school he went to Baltimore school of arts for writing, thats why he was so insightful and straight forward with his message
Great video. Pac was and is the 🐐
Nice reactiob. Feel guilty all you want, but don't forget that 2pac said, " They say it's the white man I should fear, but it's my own kind doing all the killin here".
Thee Goat, nuff said !
Afeni Shakur passed away a couple years ago

Afeni Shakur passed away in 2016
Let’s do some TOOL - 46&2
His mother Afeni Shakur passed away back in 2016, or 2017 I think.
Hi bro
Where can I get your book.
It's Bongani from South Africa. Info pls...
So Many Tears or Still I Rise is a good one to analyse.
Holy shit that's the Red Woman. Listen to Dear Mama from Tupac.
Assata Shakur was his godmother she spoke about tupacs mom in her book
Thanks guys
If you are appreciative of Cadence's metaphors you guys need to react to me and my girlfriend by Tupac
and here's something most people don't even grasp, he was supposed to pull through and live, after the Vegas shooting, the doctor stated that clearly, he was stablelized, but after day 6 in the hospital the same day Snoop showed up to visit him with one Kevin Gaines, the corrupt LA cop who was on "special assignment that night in Vegas and all over the MGM surveillance video, and dating Sharitha Knight's GF, Suge's woman mind you is the same day Tupac started failing and going into cardiac arrest, many people speak of this, he was trying to communicate something to his friends, that he was in danger, or that someone was in the room that he didn't want, and that's the same day Snoop showed up with Kevin Gaines, and remember Snoop stayed out of Vegas that night, yet his bodyguard was there, and Snoop even said he leaned in close and whispered into Tupac's ear, and we all assume that it was something positive, well it could of been negative, they were beefing hard at the time, so bad Snoop was in fear for his life, he was trying to get off the label, as was Tupac, and Pac fired David Kenner before that trip and ends up shot in Vegas, remember Orlando Anderson, the crip that they jumped at the casino before the shooting? he was a compton crip, known to the authorities, and the gang unit, headed up by reggie wright sr, he's on the surveillance video monitoring Orlando as his son head of security for tupac that night, Orlando was planted there, or told to be there, so when they jumped him they had a suspect to blame it on, he didn't shoot Tupac, let alone kill him, Cops shot tupac, off duty cops working for Death Row and that fight at the casino was a big setup, Snoop even said he threw up his stomach at the hospital, did they poison his IV??? he even says it in this song, so Tupac knew, he was very wise
Can you guys please do 2pac ghetto gospel with lyrics
Thank you for saying "privilege" i truly appreciate your insight
I’m actually glad Pac said that to be honest😕💯
Tears 🥺
Great reaction
