Of course. I'm not a world-first player by any means, but I know a lot of people were wondering how this was even getting done. With our class being where it is at the moment, some of this challenge stuff gets a bit dicey, especially as Outlaw. Lemme know if there's anything specific you're struggling with. Maybe I'll learn to do this RUclips thing and post something to help.
Well I appear to be struggling to maximize my character’s DPS potential. I have a 615 ilevel yet my output isn’t near to what yours is (Warcraft logs). It seems like you’re very skilled in comparison to me, I’m still new coming back to WoW after years. But I only put out 500-750k in heroic raid and 600-800k in m+. I have burts of 900-1mil. But can’t maintain. I understand most of the rotation I think, albeit my execution is not perfect. I miss things and waste CPs sometimes. Hardest part is staying in melee range actually performing my rotation due to mechanics. Anyway, seeing videos explaining how to maximize your character would be great. I’m interested in trickster as it just seems appealing but because my dps is already not the best with fatebound I don’t think I should switch. You just seem like you’ve got the class figured out as far as mechanics and utility.
It's definitely a lot of learning for the spec. I'm finding new stuff all the time on how things interact, and where to use a lot of utility to close the gaps. I mean, I just recently made the connection that you can basically instantly Shadowstep the moment killing spree ends to keep in range if a tank is moving during it or you need to avoid mechanics last second. The big issue for Outlaw is that time off targets leads to damage fall offs almost immediately, thanks to Blizzard's current design for us. But there are a number of things you can do to close that gap, even if it isn't the "optimal" rotation for that moment. It just takes some practice and realizing when you can and can't finesse some mechanics with our utility. Something crazy, like vanishing to start Crackshot while a mechanic is starting. Seems less than optimal, but you actually can get most of the damage out from a bit of range if you have opportunity procs ready to fill your CP if Crackshot doesn't get a CP reset. You can also gamble on 1 CP during that Crackshot and sometimes just end up jackpotting into extra CP. I can try to whip up a script for something to maybe break down some of the stuff I'm doing. Might be some time, since I'd like to cover a good amount of information if I'm doing something like that, but I'll see what I can come up with.
I'm rolling with Hekili with just a single recommendation and some small customizations. Helps with tracking a number of things without needing like 4 Weak Auras, since I prefer to run as much of the Vanilla UI as I can get away with. You still need to know the rotation priority, as it's not an end-all solution by any means. It's just very helpful so you don't get caught staring at your ability bar instead of mechanics, and definitely is something you have to ignore a sizable amount of time too. Crackshot breaks, guess I need to move my rotation a bit. Or, if you're holding a cooldown at the end of trash. That sort of thing.
Thanks for the video and activity in Rogue forums. You know your stuff. I need you to coach me!

Is that a TellMeWhen addon that suggests abilities?
