Today we are going to see how the USS Babylon deals with an Orion ambush.
The Orion Godfather ships are notoriously difficult to deal with.
Let's see what happens.

The Ulysses class was always one of my favorite designs. Played tons of starfleet command when I was younger. Wish they'd use that hull more often
I remember arming my heavy Fed ships with mostly missiles instead of just torpedoes - they absolutely obliterated everything they came across. Those gorgeous little purple glows were such a hit of dopamine.

I agree the Orion's were the victors. I was a bit surprised one Orion ship was able to take out the other. You got lucky when you took it out when it cloaked.

I like that ship Admiral.. very nice styling and looks futuristic , great name too.. I thought Orion's had green ships, hmm ok.lol Also, went to Paris.. Sacré Bleu mon ami.. and read the instructions ok.. gosh.. I would write in the way Johnny English's French but gosh not sure how lol.. Yes these Orion ships look nice.. forgot if I seen them but, in Encounters PS2 were the Orion Interceptor, so now I see the era ok sorry lol.. Surprised they have cloaks.. wow.. 😨the sound of the Orion beam is scary .. Nice tactics gosh.. yes those Orions not all are Pirates lol but their ships are powerful.. jeepers..!!!😊🖖

Are you having difficulty playing Orion ships in Star Trek Bridge Commander? For some reason, they work better on pirated copies of the game. 😹

If I recall, the Orions had whatever weapons they could lay their hands on.
And if you go by Diane Duane's novels, they also had Nova Bombs and Planet Crackers (there were references to Orions destroying planets if not in their interest (or if the target was in a feud), and actually moving planets around (separate from the Intellivore...)
I only ever played Starfleet Command 3 because my dad bought it and I spent a long time messing around with that game. I remember going into the game files and editing the costs and weight of the starbase phasers and putting them on ships and thinking I was so clever.
You are missing out.SFC 3 is very dumbed down from Orion Pirates.You have way less options on how to operate the ship.SFC 3 you can customize the ship, sort of, which you couldn't do in OP.But there were alot more ships to choose from.SFC OP multiplayer online was good fun.I'm sad it's not around anymore.

Has anyone of these modders made the Tank Godfather Dreadnought? It wasn't the two-nacelle cruiser, but a tank-like ship that was in SFC: Orion Pirates.
Never played Starfleet command, but the Ulysses was one of the strongest Fed ships in Klingon Academy

I loved starfleet command 2, I wasted away many an afternoon trying to take over all of the map. I think most of the factions used missiles, they were my favourite weapon in the game.

Star Fleet Command two was good. I would play it till I darn near conquered the galaxy and the game crashed. I overused rockets to defeat the other ships.
Hmmm kinda looks like a precursor to the odyssey class.
Most fo the races in SFC and SFC2 could use missiles. The Orions were annoying in that game because they could spawn with any kind of weapons so you never knew what you were up against.

And because THESE SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS are using ships MADE FOR PIRATING ... TO ACTUALLY PIRATE. So RBG wasn't referring to all of them as any unfair generality to begin with. Now, if you just called them "The P!r@te P€0p|e" as a sweeping term, THAT'D be wrong & intellectually lazy!

That Orion ship looks like ass! That said the Orion is only slightly worse looking than the Ulysses class, but it is worse. This was a truly ugly fight.

In STSFC 2 Orion ships was never that powerful;P specially against Dreadnought ships;P
Years back when SFC ships (SFC 1, 2 n 3) were brought into BC, the power levels were all over the map.
I recall when updating some Hydran vessels for BC RE the cruisers (which were 23rd C ships) were a match for most 24th C ships. 😮😅)

I don't know why but I have an impression that AI is getting dumber with each video. Not firing torpedos + exposing the weakest shield to the enemy.
ulysses class is more powerful than a excelsior class.
It's a very ugly ship and a poor design.
