When compared to LCD Amoled is good in colours and blacks but we have to consider the amoled screen burning, it happens if you use for long term that's why you don't see amoled in monitor, if you see a Amoled display in budget phones they may not have screen burning prevention.

I am an iphone x user. Burn in issue is a big thing in OLED screens , and screen replacement is very costly. We Indians quite emphasize on durability over anything else. If you are a non-user of flagship models , prioritise lcd over OLED. But if you have cash to burn , then u will not be reading the comment section anyways for reviews or info

Amoled are delicate and much more fragile plus frequently have seen burnout issues and mid ranger have screen flickering, green tint and at night can't go as low as lcd brightness.

I am using Ips LCD for more than 4-5 year ..when i see amoled I don't see huge difference in them if amoled have more contrast then try increasing contrast in ips display then you will feel more less difference in them i use high contrast settings in my redmi note 9 pro max and i am very satisfied with the big and good quality display 🤓👍

AMOLED is far better than LCD bcoz it is not only to give pleasant display but also cool and soothing to eyes. LCD/IPS Display is very strainful for eyes. It's a proven fact.Last year when Lockdown first effected,I had to work a lot from home for my office.Then I was using an Lcd phone.After consulting doctor I was advised to replace it with an AMOLED one,i bought Realme 7pro. And magically my eye-strain diminished a lot.Now I understant why in advanced countries LCD is left aside and not made for their citizens. Wrong information I myself am using an AMOLED display phone now but when using a phone with an IPS display I feel much less strain on my eyes this is my personal experience. Fun fact is you are comparing IPS LCD with AMOLED but forgot to explain the IPS portion. IPS ( In plane switching) technology is an enhancement over normal LCD to overcome some of its drawbacks. There are different types of both LED and LCD panels 1. LED- OLED, QLED, AMOLED etc 2. LCD - TFT, IPS, normal LCD
Great explanation. By the way there is no restriction of on screen finger print scanner on IPS screens. Because the ultra sound scanner works perfectly within 1.8 mm seperation. IPS screen are normally only 1.2 mm thick which means ultrasound sensor of on screen scanner can be placed under it . Even the new gen TFT display used on Samsung is only 1.4mm thick max.
I will definitely prefer LCD as I had note 8 on which I used to play pubg and I had to face screen burn issue. Now imagine on a 70000 phone something like this.
Amoled panels are specially the worst choice for gamers, because mobile games have on screen buttons and if you don't change there position regularly (which is very time consuming and also you'll have to learn the new pattern) in short gamers should always chose ips lcd and multimedia users can use Amoleds.

AMOLED is far better than LCD bcoz it is not only to give pleasant display but also cool and soothing to eyes. LCD/IPS Display is very strainful for eyes. It's a proven fact.Last year when Lockdown first effected,I had to work a lot from home for my office.Then I was using an Lcd phone.After consulting doctor I was advised to replace it with an AMOLED one,i bought Realme 7pro. And magically my eye-strain diminished a lot.Now I understant why in advanced countries LCD is left aside and not made for their citizens. Truly AMOLED is far better than LCD /IPS only if you can afford it bcoz it is much costly,Bro.
Wrong information I myself am using an AMOLED display phone now but when using a phone with an IPS display I feel much less strain on my eyes this is my personal experience.
I have tested this on myself but I feel more eye strain on the AMOLED display, which is the opinion of many
And most people have opined that IPS displays feel less eye strain and are better for the eyes , But yes super amoled display is best for entertainment good display good color but not for eyes,

Fun fact is you are comparing IPS LCD with AMOLED but forgot to explain the IPS portion. IPS ( In plane switching) technology is an enhancement over normal LCD to overcome some of its drawbacks.
There are different types of both LED and LCD panels
1. LED- OLED, QLED, AMOLED etc
2. LCD - TFT, IPS, normal LCD
There is another LCD type is also availabale.i forgot the name..

Great explanation. By the way there is no restriction of on screen finger print scanner on IPS screens. Because the ultra sound scanner works perfectly within 1.8 mm seperation. IPS screen are normally only 1.2 mm thick which means ultrasound sensor of on screen scanner can be placed under it . Even the new gen TFT display used on Samsung is only 1.4mm thick max.

I will definitely prefer LCD as I had note 8 on which I used to play pubg and I had to face screen burn issue. Now imagine on a 70000 phone something like this.
Amoled panels are specially the worst choice for gamers, because mobile games have on screen buttons and if you don't change there position regularly (which is very time consuming and also you'll have to learn the new pattern) in short gamers should always chose ips lcd and multimedia users can use Amoleds.
The issue is sae as in lg or Samsung OLED TV's........ Most news chanel has a permanent top bar or bottom bar...... This remains constant for hours.... Resulting in burning of those area
