Iron Tank: The Invasion of Normandy (1988) is a top-down action shooting game by SNK, based on their earlier arcade game TNK III. You take control of a commando named Paul (codenamed SNAKE) as he mans the titular tank to infiltrate the German stronghold.
In this run, £e Nécroyeur ( tasvideos.org/... ) uses tool-assisted precision as well as some tricks, glitches, and luck manipulation to blast his way to victory in a little under 12 minutes.

I rented this game as a kid because I liked the box art and of course tanks were awesome. Game has great detail and huge, impressive bosses. Multiple paths, different ammunition types, huge variety of enemies. Even a radio to send you messages about what’s going on. They really packed it all in with this game

Had this game never got close to the end... But the Japanese devs probably had a hard time with that ending... War sucks.

I know 2 years + but one of the few times I seen other people use the land mine tricks, people dont know they can run over them in some circumstances.
