@@alexjamerson5796 I got 100K miles on it back in 2018. I drove it a lot - loved the car. But Lx model is also got, it just has a bit less feature. 160K is also impressive. You can probably push it to 300K easily :)
Our exact year and model is going on 11 1/2 years and we only have less than 65K miles driven. We also have a '12 Accord LX and that one is just getting to 60K miles. With outrages gas prices that the oil refineries are sticking it to California and the west coast for that matter these days, we tend to lean on using the Civic 70% of the time as it gets a lot better gas mileage than our Accord, and mind you those are not that bad for a four cylinder Accord. The dealership that we bought these new, and they both get serviced at, sends me email periodically asking if we want to sell either. Hey, both of these vehicles are extremely reliable and the engines are in essence barely broken in and cost effective to own. We were once in the Chevy family of vehicles owned until the worst taste happened for buying a new 1998 Chevy Malibu. What we paid servicing of that Malibu in ten years was much more than what we paid in the same time frame for all three of our Honda's. Yes, our first was a 2011 Civic that we gave to our daughter five years later. Happy Honda vehicle owners and never going back to Chevy after 30 years.
ahh that's beautiful they say Chevy went downhill after 2006 but yes you are correct if you have an older car its just better to keep it everything is getting recalls now days included honda and toyota
I am looking into a this same model car, used sold at the honda dealership near me at around 123k miles 9991k. Is this a fair price? Thanks (: love the review
I just bought this model LX. Its to give my truck (which has been my daily drive for 7 years) a break with some of the mileage, and the wear and tear. I never owned or drove a Civic before. For being a slow 1.8L 4 banger to compete with the others, Im not going to deny that its the most fun economical car Ive driven. No wonder Civics are popular

hi Congratulations! it is a pretty good car cheap and easy to maintain I think its a great first car, I'm 6'4 you'll fit just fine 9k sounds like a good deal to me but first make sure there is brand new fluid in the car check over the carfax. ask them when is the last time they did an oil change, transmission fluid drain and refill, wiper blade, brake pads, coolant make sure there are no leaks and the battery is up to date ask for a car wash and full tank of gas as well

Transmission fluid doesn't run out as fast as oil but you should go for a flush and refill every 30k miles if you bought it used then you might need to check all your fluids if you didn do so before the purchase, i would assume the previous owner didn't get a flush and refill then go ahead and get one. Yes it is a great car what it lacks in power and fun it makes up for in safety and reliability
That actually sounds pretty good, just double check the carfax report and check for any leaks, make sure the engine sounds nice and healthy and the transmission is moving smoothly and of course check all the electronics and when was the last oil change and other fluids were checked. Make sure they give you a full tank of gas, a car wash and a good battery >_> dealerships usually try to skip that stuff after you buy it

It was pretty bad but I appreciate that lol 😭
Just copped the EXL version of this car with 35,000 miles today. Very excited! 😁

I used to own Civic 2014 EX version. It was a good car and served well. I sold it after driving for 100K miles.
When did you get 100k miles on your ex?

Do you have a link to it?
It's great if the cosmetic stuff is the only problem, hopefully they aren't hiding anything
