Thank you for such down to earth, common sense lessons. This is a breath of fresh air to me. I had bought an online training course to help with our last dog and it was so complicated it simply added stress upon stress which I didn’t need at the time. She is a successful trainer but the approach just didn’t work for me. I was not immediately drawn to your channel as I don’t need a gundog. But, I feel your approach will suit any dog - I can feel my shoulders relax as I watch!
Such a very useful discussion. Easier said than done for the typical owner in the moment. Possibly rehearsing the possible scenarios in your head before going on a training session could help.
Amazing - Not sure if you have already but some advice/video on Hold would be useful - my 5 month old Lab either drops at your feet on retrieve or if in a playful mood will play tug.
Is there a way where you recognise that the puppy is starting to get it,so then you know they're ready for the next step..ie looking up at you, engagement etc..I have been guilty of the cart before horse..best wishes

Yes please more of these! I have a 14 week old cocker girl who just won’t listen. She’s stubborn and bossy and I want her to be a waffle.
Excellent video as always. Thank you as well for the guest who attended. Enjoyed the interactions and learnt alot.
Slow down or ill bury you in the woods was my highlight 🤣 love these videos. So much gold to learn.
