Thinking about the consumer and creating a great game is not their idea, so much so that SONY received a violent hate from GRAN TURISMO 7 fans because of micro transactions and game defects.

I really enjoy watching people play this game, though I'd never ever be able to play it myself since I'm, for lack of a better term, rhythmically retarded. Hell the opening beep test thingy to test the player's timing took me more than five whole minutes just to get past. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me, its just like there's some defect in my brain that totally prevents me from doing what the gameplay demands; which is a shame since the game looks like a lot of fun. I did try to push through by playing it like a conventional shooter / hack-n-slasher, but yeah, that didn't work out, lol. I'll have to find a good full playthrough of it to watch since I still love the idea behind it.
I play music... I played the demo, musically it's amazing but the rhythm portion of the cross hairs doesn't actually seem to keep time with the song or the rhythm section at least drum and bass, it pulses off time, so it doesn't actually feel like your keeping the beat of the track or situation, headbanging to the beat doesn't help either the game is still off time
Also a musician... the rhythm keeps pretty good time with most of the sections except for example at 1:22 where the drums, bass and guitars do dotted eighth notes for one measure before ending on 16th note drum fill. The game expects you to keep shooting at straight eighth notes over the dotted eighths and It's a little confusing... but holy shit that part is badass. The only other time i get thrown off is when the shotgun cocks after shooting bc It's not in rhythm. and when the voice actor says a line after completing a section and the music is super low. Other than that it's amazing! im top 500 in the leaderboards now after some practice
i am not good at this but the times i have scored to the beat is pretty legit. I play drums and piano. ok...the crosshairs...you are correct. sorry my man. But the timing to the music is correct. The crosshairs will throw you off. thanks for the info man!! Hats off to ya
rhythm-wise it definitely feels less crispy than BPM. Idk, maybe it's the lyrics, maybe the crosshair is fucky, but for me the most cardinal sin is that the game pumps the shotgun for you, and if you're off by even a little on your first shot, the error compounds really fast (I fucked it up at about 1:54)
@@AdderTude To get to 20 mill you dont need to be super good. You just have to use the first skull and just hit. Its more boring and long, then fun and skillfull. Hope they change how point system works.
@@Just2Ddude u do know that if you miss the beat timing once or get hit you lose your hit streak right? aka its a no hit run with constant good or perfect shoots (dashing is okay to misstime)

the ultimate on the sword is the most awesome one imo, but I always drift towards firearms lol
