I'm just excited for 2 new tracks! 😆 I need April to get here eeeee! Also not sure how I feel about the vocal re-recordings for those few tracks. Now that her voice is more mature and sort of..lower? Richer in tone? It'll sound different on those higher note parts like in traveling. I'm sure it'll grow on me though. Thanks for the updates as always!
It will go by fast! Less than two months. Good point, Hikaru doesn't seem to approach those high notes in the same way these days. I hope they still sound good!
I commented on the last video that I wasn't going to buy the album but then i heard about the re-recorded songs/new songs and immediately pre-ordered on CDJAPAN 😂 The tour stuff is just frustrating. They make it really hard to be an international Utada fan. Still hoping for a second leg outside of Japan even if it's extremely unlikely.
I have a friend with an Android phone who used a VPN to install the app in America. So even if they don't make the app international, there still could be a way to redeem the codes in other countries.
Omg me too!! The NYC ticket was only $40! And also since I've already been blessed to see Hikki in a small venue, I'm not scrambling to go again in a bigger one across the planet 😅
I am Japanese living abroad and usually, I can’t book tickets for most of gigs and shows in Japan because they all require Japanese phone number to book. Also Most of them don’t accept over sea numbers so I thought Utada’s tour is the same. Therefore I didn’t bother checking it but then I found out that Utada allocated tickets lottery separately for over sea fans. What a thoughtful artist she is. Thats because she lives in overseas and probably experienced same thing
I am about as excited for this release as I was for "Single Collection Vol. II", but I do have a reservation regarding the re-recordings. It could really go either way in the end, but I mean "traveling" especially is hard for me to see as a re-record. We'll have to see. Of course, I'm going to shell out for the Limited Edition, though. It's Hikki, so of course I'm gonna say "take my money" haha.
So 3 new songs (including Gold cause I haven't listened to that one yet) and re-recordings for some of the old songs, that sounds great! 😀I'm wondering why she chose to re-record these 3 in particular and not her other early hits
AAH! Are you waiting for the album to come out to listen to Gold? I'm wondering if those ones are getting re-record because they have yet to be remastered since the original recording? So they thought they will do new vocals at the same time? Whereas some of the other songs have previously been remastered. Big assumption on my part tho

Makes me glad I went to her This Is The One tour in 2010 in Vegas. It was $60 at the time😅. Inflation sucks...I'm looking forward to the album though.
