An overview of how to remove the plastic mirror covers from the wing mirrors of two models of 1990's vintage Mercedes cars. This process should be considered at least partially destructive, as the covers are not really meant to be detached separately, so each time they are, the plastic is stressed a little. To reassemble, place the centre strip in position first, then press home the back cover
