Hey did the pipe fit into head perfect like standard one with no leaks as seen a few people fitting to new bike day that they don't line up perfect and leak oil out when revving bike etc cheers
I lined up very well! No leaks from the pipe between on either size. The silencer seems to have a very small leak but it’s hardly noticeable. With about 5-10 hours on the silencer I just noticed it when riding in the snow.
Thanks! Anything bad you hear about mapping is really not entirely true. These bikes come with a BR10 and need a BR9 spark plug, it’s one heat range hotter. I had the bike tuned in my newest video, it’s awesome! These bikes are good stock, but after the remap it is great!
Agreed. It’s a good bit quieter. I don’t mind stock, but people near me are annoyed with the sound. Plus stock isn’t spark arrested, so 200 dollar silencer with a spark arrestor is better than a 300 dollar ticket. It’s a good excuse too, lol.
BR9 spark plug. Don’t even ride it with the stock plug, you’ll foul the plug within 5 hours. Especially if you’re riding the bike correctly for break in. Otherwise some protection parts like a ktm brand linkage guard, it’ll attach right to the stock skid plate. FMF turbine core 2.1 for a spark arrestor if you need it for trail riding. It makes the bike a little less noises too.
@@ryanboening I will definitely get that sparkplug. And ill think about the other things. I wont need the exhaust but the linkage guard sounds like a good idea.
how did the top end power change at all, i notice there’s a slight cut off where carberated models can just keep pulling, do the changes improve top end power and longer pulling power?
Yeah a little bit, it definitely seems to rev a bit higher. But I think mostly that would be controlled by ECU. I did not make any adjustments to ECU yet, not sure if I will either. But I definitely agree, it does seem to fall on its face a little once you rev it out.
@@kylemorales3663 they’ve updated the map once, December 7th I believe. Two stroke performance is supposed to be working on a ECU at the moment. Also, a channel, god guns and goats, I believe is his channels name, got a tune from TPI tuning. He hasn’t completely tested it yet, but sounds promising.
@@kylemorales3663 the pipe definitely helps, but I think the tune will be better. If you get a pipe before though, you could ask for them to tune it for your pipe as well.
hey nice video plan on getting a 2023 125xc next weekend thanks for being like the only one making videos about it so far
Haha for sure! Put a BR9 plug in it right away. 27 hours with the NGK BR9 plug and no issues.
I found if you reach in through the chain area you can push the cold start easier.
I find it to be the opposite.
Looks good for not having a camera man / setup
Thanks! Gotta work with what I got haha!

hows the stock mapping on the bike I heard its not too good. Looks sweet though

Is it quieter with the turbine core on there? The stock pipe is crazy loud!

I'm planning buying myself a 2023 125xc in the next few weeks. Is there anything you would recommend doing from factory?

@@ryanboening sounds like it’ll need a tune or whenever ktm makes the map update

@@ryanboening i have spoke to him about that, contemplating saving for the pipe or tune first
