- According to Fort Lauderdale Police Spokeswoman Casey Liening, police received the call of a gunman on the campus of William Dandy around 3:30 p.m.
i was unfortunately at this school when it happened, being a student, i am greatful that nobody got hurt
I was at the school and I'm glad everyone safe but it Traumatizing for some kids and I hope that kid who had a Panic attack is ok and doing well please be safe out guys
I'm proud of whoever this person is we took it into consideration to make the call they deserve a reward for making the call to stopping the indication that it could have went down or occurred like any other schools

Used to be Everglades Middle School. 'Renamed' after the criminal school board superintendent Dandy. You remember him. The guy drunk driving when he killed a lady back in 94 while she was crossing the street in Oakland Park. Said he didn't know what he was doing. But he fled the scene. Witnesses got the tag and when he was tracked down he tried cleaning up the car like nothing happened. Bonded out of jail for less than four grand. The punishment he got was his name on a school that has a two rating. Sounds like the Rick Sanchez DUI when he killed the poor guy on the motorcycle in front of Joe Robbie Stadium. Nothing happened to news guy either.

Thank goodness nobody was shot. It's still traumatic for the kids and teachers.

Thank you jesus i got home safe and im glad the shooter didn't come in i would be scared but luckly the securitys were here to help us all So im going to give a BIG thanks to them for saving me and my freinds wish you the luck
We need more people like them who's up on top of things and doesn't let things go that takes it seriously not someone in other police departments that don't take things seriously enough to stop it I openers and those who open their eyes sees what's around them this means someone cares about people all other 50 states have done nothing but allowing the shootings to go on because I'm praying people not knowing what to do

Imagine if firearm ownership was heavily regulated and if the citizens were willing to reduce their "freedom" a little to abolish illegal weapons, as it is in other highly developed countries. The US would've been as safe as the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc. Children could walk and play outside in big cities without having to worry about stray bullets

The nation's you have listed are not as safe from violent criminals as you believe. Firearms regulations will not be followed by criminals/violent gang members, however it will place your fellow citizens in danger as police as good as some may be can't be everywhere to stop a violent criminal in one's exact moment of dire need . Knives, bricks , fist , feet violent criminals will use anything to intimidate, steal, injury and kill . Evil and wicked lie not in a tool that can be used for anything good otherwise. Wickedness lies in the heart, soul and mind of humankind, change the heart that is how what you desire is accomplished. Disarm your fellow citizens from the most modern and efficient tool to protect from Wickedness is foly, sadly but true soft targets will continue to be assaulted via violent criminals, hard targets will not as many criminals will not approach them .
