1:43 this is heeseung, he is the oldest in the group ( ‘01 liner), this one is jay he is second oldest (‘02 liner), 2:11 is ni-ki im sure you already know hes an ‘05 liner, the youngest in the group, 4:26 is sunoo he is the sunshine of the group ( ‘03 liner), 4:40 is jake, he really looks similar to heeseung at first 😭 hes an ‘02 liner , 5:16 is sunghoon, hes an ‘02 liner too hes the youngest among the ‘02 liners, 5:18 is jungwon, hes the leader ( ‘04 liner) hes the secong youngest in the group

The mv clearly has a dark/light concept. This is said to be before their vampire life, them trying to escape this hell/paradise into the human world. In the start the members are seen in what seems as paradise. the more the song goes on the darker it becomes. im sure you would have noticed that sunoo is portrayed as an angel, so one popular theory is that his member betrayed him by ripping of his wings and his heart as a sacrifice, it is shown that the other members hearts are black ( which probably means they’re impure ) like at 10:05 it is shown jay hold his heart which is black and at 10:24 jakes black heart is shown. At 11:10 jake and ni-ki are sitting together showing that jake is trying to persuade ni-ki into joining them to help in sacrificing sunoo’s heart which obviously does not work, ni-ki is still on sunoo’s side, then at 12:45 you see sunoo guarding his wings and heart he must have heard from ni-ki that hus friends are planning to take his heart. At 12:58 it is shown that heeseung is probably regretting the decision of taking sunoo heart for sacrifice. Ni-kinis seen tied and locked in a room at 13:21 indicating that they are moving forward with their plan and dont want ni-ki to help sunoo.13:25 jake is seen carrying sunoo’s heart and wing to sacrifice to open the portal. 13:35 ni-ki is seen in the room with black feathers falling making his realize that the sacrifice is made (previously it was seen that sunoo wing had black feathers no idea why 😭😭 my theory bc his wing was removed). 13:15 the sacrifice is made and the portal is now open 14:24 them standing in front of the portal. In other mvs sunoo is always potrayed as the evil, this might be his origin story
. sunoo might be taking his revenge on the other members for sacrificing him . Theres another theory too which is based on the webtoon but this one is more popular. i hope this helps you :)
as a ni-ki bias i think i went crazyy after listening to criminal love. also you shoul watch ni-kis dance covers, theres ‘lie’ by jimin and the most recent one of ‘like this’ in vogue korea. Jungwon is also a very underrated dancer he is probably is the second best dancer in enhypen ( they dont have positions excapt for jungwon the leader and ni-kinas maknae) he has done a cover of ‘ill show you’. theres also a mix and max of ni-ki and jungwon ‘bleeding darkness’ which you have to react to its too good.

Enhypen music is totally my style. I don't like heavy instrumental stuff where we can't enjoy the music. They are very different from other groups.Not only they are good dancer but also their voice is amazing just like you said and the melody that they have in their music.Thank you for loving our boys. i obsessed with enhypen honestly. i’m guilty of it lmao. criminal love is criminally underrated, it’s sooo good. and sacrifice is my second favorite after “Fate” from their recent comeback Dark Blood.
i would definitely recommend you to watch a guide on them, they’re honestly super funny and cute. like a recent guide, not from 3 years ago lol. maybe another their OST song for the Dark Moon webtoon, it’s called “One in a Billion” and it’s also super good, tho i don’t think it’s better than Criminal Love. their recent japanese release too, called “Blossom” and its beautiful. engenes (enha fans) really love this song because it’s a song for the fans, the members cried singing it on stage on their tour. 😿

Music wise enhypen is really different from alot of groups that's why I understand you saying they have alot of more calm music than alot of boy groups these days I think it relies heavily on their lore with that kind of lore they chose the best direction to go dark and calm but it's also very intense they honestly don't have to do too much and use heavy instruments and stuff it's honestly really satisfying (their music) when listening that's why I honestly really love their new album dark blood it's exactly my style

I love enhypen's style, they are unique and their music goes from old school as you said, to something darker, with more calm, the concept of vampires is fascinating, you should react to FATE, I also follow ateez, their energy, power , and strength, with a concept of pirates, rebels, as you mentioned in the video, they are so different, two opposite worlds, that I love that balance when listening to them, I hope you continue listening to both groups

I love enhypen so much their music, their personalities, their chemistry as a group, everything about them is just so amazing. After BTS they are the only group I got so much invested in to watch everything about them. Like I love txt, stray kids, Blackpink, ateez, gidle, itzy and other groups but I only listen to their music, but enhypen got me invested like BTS. BTS and enhypen are my most favourite groups in kpop

I’ve been watching this reaction like at least 10 times. I’m glad that you like ENHYPEN. They came from a survival show called I land and if you are interested in the members and how the group was formed you can react to that. It was a little bit traumatising but one of the best survival show I’ve ever watched.
Criminal love is an OST of their Webtoon Dark Moon: Blood Altar. Another OST of that Webtoon they relapsed in 2022 is One in a Billion which is more rock & roll style version with heavy electric guitar.

I agree they're great dancers... Just watch some of their dance practices like Go Big Or Go Home, Fever, Drunk-Dazed, Criminal Love, MMA 2021, MAMA 2021 etc. You'll see how are they're amazing dancers.... None of them fall behind... Even their less-trained member can pass as a lead dancer in other group...
And I feel you about the confusion to Jake and Heeseung... Even me is same as you before 🤣 Their voices also almost same timbre... But when you know them day by day you'll notice the difference between them... Actually the grey haired guy you said that you like his voice is Jake... He's an Aussie-Korean idol, he is friend of Bang Chan and Felix of Stray Kids. The other guy is Heeseung who has the ace of the group... His voice is amazing, he dances well too... Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Jake and Heeseung I kept confusing for the longest time. But honestly they are not that similar. UwU Now Heeseung is my wrecker so i better tell them apart u know, lol. Ur boo had red hair here. Glad u figured that out. =0] And u liked Jake's tone. =0p Giggles. Yep u got Ni-ki right. Good reaction(Sacrifice), ty. Jake had black hair here. U really like his vocals. U again mistook Heeseung for Jake, oops. =0p Heeseung had silver hair here. He was one of the priests. Sunoo is the one u said his vocals don't match his looks. He started us off. Our sunshine is multi talented yep. =0] Wow what an MV. Talk about images. Very pretty and cool. They all sounded good. I was not sure if i liked the song on my 1st listen. After 3 relistens i like it now =0p. Had to get used to the new rhythm. Great visuals. I was thinking the white wings and white clothes represent innocence and that was lost because they wore black later on and the wings turned black. Also, Ni-ki and Heesung were wearing priest clothes. It might have significance. Shrugs. I have not read the webtoon yet but plan too. It explains a lot of the story.

I decided to rewatch the mv without the subs (and without thinking of the webtoon either), just to take in the visual storytelling. Overall the storyline looks like at one time they were at the highest state of perfection and even though that state ends up getting flawed, they still wonder if they deserve salvation/paradise. The highest state of perfection would be represented by white wings and from here we can see that white is purity/perfection and black is impurity/imperfection. Taking in consideration at least the title of the song - Sacrifice, I can assume that they could have been sacrificing, not themselves, but their purity (hence the black feathers, stains, black heart) for a greater good.
And even going up the stairs, isn't a regular walk up but actually crawling. Crawling suggests humbleness but also it gives a sense of - I want to be saved but do I really deserve this or am I worthy enough? I'll also add one bit about the lyrics - the river Lethe that is represented throughout the video. The River Lethe is a part of Greek mythology where it was one of the five rivers of the underworld and if someone drank from it, they would forget completely. Lethe and its water is represented by an actual river, a cup with liquid and even a table that's literally filled with water. The sacrifice itself seemed to come from actually drinking the water from Lethe and forgetting who they were before. But as memories were returning to them, they wanted to get back to where they were originally were.
