As Turkey joins the BRICS alliance, it is a clear indication of the shifting power dynamics in the world. For decades, Turkey has been at the receiving end of hypocritical policies from the West, who claim to support democracy and freedom, yet have continuously meddled in Turkey's internal affairs and hindered its progress. While the West has criticized Turkey for its human rights record and democratic principles, it has turned a blind eye to its own allies who have committed much worse offenses. It is time for Turkey to turn towards its eastern counterparts, who value cooperation and mutual respect, and leave behind the double standards of the West. The strategic move to join BRICS not only strengthens its economy and global influence, but also sends a strong message to the West that their biased and manipulative actions will no longer be tolerated.
I believe this alliance with BRICS will allow Turkey to break free from the shackles of Western influence and establish itself as a strong, independent player

Turkey also has been threatening EU countries that they will come one night and that their borders can no longer hold them and they need some "Blue Homeland". Last time a dictator said the same things Hitl3rs "Lebensraum" there was WW3. So how can the West provide weapons to a revisionist power which wants to occupy EU lands. So they can go ahead and try the BRICS but when the sanctions will begin and inflation is at 200% the Sultan can come back crying, as he had done with UAE and other Arab states begging for forgiveness. He is very good at that. He practiced with Putin

We asked for tanks from NATO countries, they didn’t give them to us. We asked for planes, they didn’t give them to us. We asked for air defense systems, they didn’t give them to us. Before acquiring the S-400, we requested air defense systems from both Europe and the United States, but we were told the Senate did not approve it. However, at the same time, we were under attack on our eastern borders, more than 200 of our civilians were killed, and while NATO allies were supplying weapons to the terrorists against us, they refused to sell us weapons even for money. On top of that, all of the so-called allied countries imposed sanctions on us, ignoring our concerns. We were hit by missile attacks, and except for Spain, none of our allies provided air defense systems. Moreover, they even withdrew the systems they had already deployed during the attacks.
This was a turning point because you did not act in accordance with the spirit of the alliance and showed that you cannot be trusted. However, we owe you thanks because by not providing these systems, you encouraged us to produce them ourselves. We no longer need you to provide them, and we no longer need your friendship because you were never true friends anyway. We will act according to what benefits us. In the past, we fought for you in Korea because we valued your friendship, even though that region had nothing to do with us. But you disappointed us. You supported a terrorist organization that continuously attacks us.
Sorry, but we no longer like you, and it’s your fault. If you find yourselves in trouble, don’t come to us it’s none of our concern.

I know many Americans who have never heard of Turks before or think they are riding camels in the desert. There are people in England who are in the same situation, who can't even show them on a map. The American and European press only talk about what they want you to know. The situation in Turkey is no different, but it is not as shit as yours. 15 years ago I would definitely join the European Union. Now I definitely don't. Just as Europe shows us carrots, America shows Europe carrots, including NATO, the situation is the same. I want to be modest, but even in the modern era there is no other army of this size that has been actively fighting for 40 years. Not the ones with a bigger hamburger portion in Central Park or the ridiculous protests in front of Big Ben. Although we have never disappointed anyone as allies for years, when we want weapons for defense, no. I want to buy air defense, no. So you buy weapons from the Russians, then you don't have F-35s. Okay, keep the planes, give me back the money, er, kem kum bla bla. If you want my money, I will sanction you so that your economy goes to shit. Are you making your own 5th generation aircraft, hey f35, how about going back? You make Siha and UAVs, they also bring some parts from abroad, they won't sell them to you anymore. Now you're making that yourself. A little more sanctions, your economy will collapse. Putin threatens European countries, hey Turkey should watch my ass, right? Great video that highlights the unfortunate realities for Turkiye and the West's double standards towards it. One thing you may have overlooked is the ill treatment Turkiye received on religious difference. It's the only Muslim EU candidate, and this has sadly been used against its joining bid. This flies in the face of so-called western values relating to religious freedom and equality, and the Turks can see straight through the BS. They also know their potential and that being kept at the door of the EU for over 50 years only inhibits their growth. It's time for change and the EU has to understand this. Turkiye has always been a powerful state, and their strategic location enables them to have crucial relations with the East as well. After living in Turkiye and talking to many people, one thing is clear - they aspire to grow and develop. They aren't interested all that much in being European over Asian. They are comfortable with who they are and are literally the bridge crossing two continents. They aspire to be a power onto themselves without being locked into the EU and NATO, which has treated them unfairly. You can't expect a vibrant and prosperous nation to just hang around for bread crumbs! The EU is stupid and too caught up in bickering. Quite frankly, Turkiye is better off in BRICS and I totally understand why Erdogan is changing tactics. Russia, China and India are better options especially the global markets and brining in Asian and Middle Eastern resources to Europe. Turks deserve better

The average Turk is more educated, speaks a foreign language and is more open to the world than the average American or Englishman. The new generation of young Turks will never accept the approach of Europe and America towards Turkey. For 50 years, Turkey has been kept waiting at the door of the European Union and given carrots with economic promises. When the Western-backed coup d'état failed in Turkey, Europe and America were disappointed. PKK terrorism is supported in Iraq and Syria. The west has never been fair and just to Turkiye. Turkiye was never seen as an equal and a real ally. Turkiye turned its face to the west completely beginning with the proclamation of the Republic, did her best to be a member of western civilization, despite all its cultural differences. But for the west, Turkiye has never been more than an open market.
With their policies, the west prevented Turkiye from economical and industrial development, they wanted Turkiye to keep an agriculture based economy and to maintain its status as a market for the west. What the west offered for Turkiye was being a colony of ther west.
Together with economic dependence came political dependence and Turkiye turned into a country living under shadows of the west. Turkish people struggled to make their ends meet for decades.
When Turkiye started her westernization and pro-western stance, promise was not being a beggar at the door but being an honorable member of that civilization. The end result was insult for Turks and as heirs to a 600 year long empire, such an insult was not acceptable for Turks.
Furthermore, despite all pro-western stance of Turkish state, all secularization and westernization in Turkish society, the westerners never forgot their past hostilities to Turkish nation and pursued revenge. They supported Islamists in Turkiye for decades which lead to mental and scientific drawback of Turkiye, and then they started to demonize Islamist politicians they applauded for years and making them excuse, they also demonized Turkiye.
    ABOUT GREEKS AND GREECE
The west always supported Greece, Greeks were spolit child of the west, even the most unfair and unjust claims of the Greeks were always supported against Turkiye. The west supported Greeks in Cyprus, Greeks were the aggressors though. While advertising for self determination all around the world, they withheld that very right from Turkish Cypriots, blamed Turkiye hypocritically for being invader even after they accepted Greeks of Cyprus (as a representative of all Cyprus) into EU membership, even though European constitution forbids countries having border issues to be a member and international agreements on Cyprus issue states that Cyprus cannot be a member of any global institution that both Greece and Turkiye are not members.

The west blamed Turkiye for a so called Armenian genocide, but no one blamed Armenians for the Turks they killed in Eastern Anatolia in order to found a homogenous Armenian state in Eastern Anatolia where more than half (51%) of the population were Muslims. Between 1970s and mid - 1980s Armenian terror organization ASALA killed many Turkish bureacrats and dipomats and the organization was hosted and secretly supported by the west. Armenian hatred for Turks never ended and in 1990s, while Armenians invading and occupying Karabakh region and surrounding in Azerbaijan, a Turkish country that got its independence from Soviets, Armenians killed all Azerbaijani Turkish residents of Khodjali and deported more than 500.000 Turks from Karabakh but all of the west was silent. The west still tells lies of Armenian genocide, which we Turks will never accept that it took place, because it did not.
    ABOUT KURDS
The west tries to divide and found a Kurdistan on Turkish territory, under the pretext and mask of human rights. The west accomodate, finance and arm terrorists. This is an existential threat to Turkiye. While the countries you call allies try to divide you, how can you be allies to them? You cannot.
So west should not surprise and question what they are told and what they believe about Turkiye, they should see what they did to Turkiye.
SORRY, HYPOCRICY OF THE WEST LEAD TO LOSS OF TURKIYE FOR THE WEST.
A really big war is coming for aging and cissified Europe, when that war arrived, the west will understand what they did to themselves by alienating and losing TURKIYE.

Also, over the last decade Turkiye has started mining gold and rare earth metals in its own territory. Today, Turkiye produces 40 tons of gold per year.

TÜRKİYE IS TIRED OF ITS SO-CALLED WESTERN ALLIES APPROACHING THEM WITH A CRUSADER UNDERSTANDING.
Two-faced Westerners who are surprised by Türkiye's application for BRICS membership must answer the following questions.
1-) Although Türkiye applied to join the European Union in 1959, do the Europeans who have kept Türkiye waiting at the door of the EU for 65 years have the right to speak?
2-) Is it appropriate for the alliance that NATO member Allies, which impose an arms embargo on NATO Member Türkiye and do not even sell for the weapons they want to buy, provide all kinds of weapons support to seperatist PKK terrorists that wants to divideTürkiye?
3-) What kind of understanding of human rights is it when Europeans and the USA, who attempt to teach Türkiye a lesson about democracy and human rights, openly support the genocide that Israel has been carrying out in Gaza for a year?

  • @MakeandHack

The US administration caused a huge security gap in Turkey because it did not sell Patriot missiles at the time. Then it imposed embargo after embargo on NATO's second largest military power. While 1 USD was 5 TL, it has now increased to 34 TL. It has made the economy difficult. It is preparing a trap in Syria for the country it calls an ally. Turkey has always been the most loyal member of NATO. They forgot their support in the Korean War. But this Turkey is being treated in a way it does not deserve. Just think, you do not even give tourist visas to the citizens of an ally country. Things appear strange right now. The value of the US dollar is declining due to inflation, but it is increasing in comparison to other currencies and commodities such as gold and real estate. People are flocking to the dollar because they believe it is safer. I'm worried that rising inflation will cause my $420,000 in retirement funds to lose value. What else could we do with our money?

Few anticipated that NATO would face such internal challenges. Historically, the alliance has been driven by a collective concern over the rise of Russia and China, often aligning with U.S. strategies to counter what they perceived as threats. However, rather than successfully managing these geopolitical challenges, NATO has struggled to maintain unity and achieve its objectives. Today, many influential NATO members are grappling with significant social, immigration, and financial issues. This raises critical questions about their future: Can they continue to grow and adapt individually and as a coalition? And if so, for how long?
