I can't believe people are commenting it's going to tip over. Forgetting that the bottom part of the hull is 70 tons and the top is only 15 tons, once the engines, fuel, water, furniture, electrics, and everything else go into it, it'll be a difficult boat to capsize. And with the stabilizers, she'll run like a dream. Amazing to get a walk-through of the unfinished boat.

I'm hoping for an hour long special when you do the final walk-through through your boat. Please, please, please! You can do a section on both of your boating histories, another on what you went through from deciding you wanted a new boat, to deciding on Bering and so on up to when you signed the contract. The rest would be walk-through and future plans.

Great fun to watch the yacht come together. A little daunting to know there will be mistakes and "why did we do that" moments no matter how hard you try to make every inch perfect. But that is the reality of designing a custom yacht. So many decisions, big and small -- thousands of them. And Bering workers will be making hundreds of decisions on the fly as the yacht comes together. But it will be a tough, gorgeous yacht.

i'm glad Victoria picked up on the frame work under the forward benches, when i first saw them i was wondering what was going on, Victoria was asking about access to the storage under the benches, having a one piece lift hatches which essentially saves moving cushions accessing and putting cushions back as suggested with smaller boats made in fibreglass, i couldn't see the compatibility between what was being asked for and what was built in front of them
ok so i realise that some framework is installed for some basic strength for keeping square for assembly and when the upper structure is lifted onto the hull, but once that operation is done, really none of the upper aluminium structure needs strength as that is all in the hull with exception to supporting itself, contents and people, seating and walls really can have as much storage as possible, you could hide so much stuff away, with exception to having insulation and cable ways etc
fantastic looking boat, can't wait to see the interior going in, epic

You have been good enough to invite us to participate in your build. I wanted to suggest the best navigation house I've seen to date - on Nick's (Aquaholics) brand new Navetta 75 video.
This is the navigation house that you want for your boat; clean, modern, visible and safe. The Bering approach has been a couple of generations behind in previous boat releases.
For Bering's important benefit, I strongly suggest the solution showcased by Navetta (which might include GPS position stabilitzation as well) - even if Bering Alexii wants (realizes that it's important) to hide manual backup controls elsewhere for safety and redundancy.
My fear (the reason I mention it) is that you risk building an outdated boat, so don't dismiss this important stuff - that adds a small fraction to cost of the whole construction.
This year, that Navetta 75 would be the boat to leapfrog, if only it had fold down sidedecks like Galeon.

If I do the Bering 75 I will want to extend the full beam portion on the port dining room side up to the beginning of the living room lounge to create more room for the dining area so all eight guests can sit around a table and I will paint the extended portion Black so it doesn’t take away from the angled column and will still aesthetically match the other side of the yacht. I made a comment about you not putting in a glass slider facing the aft deck on another video but then after seeing the floorplan video I was relieved to see that you are putting a glass slider in. I have seen other yachts that didn't have the sliding door facing the aft deck and it totally makes the guests on the aft feel cut off from the lounge and it was terrible for traffic flow and function. I am happy to see you are also making a good-sized crew cabin with a desk and a proper bathroom, a happy crew makes for a happy voyage. It is smart that you are thinking about storage for the dock lines and fenders instead of just throwing them in the bow which creates a tripping hazard for guests and crew. So excited for you guys to see your dream becoming a reality.

If I needed a ocean going full displacement boat and had the money I would buy a Bering.
Great they let you document the build for us. I'm impressed.

Thanks for the update as the build is moving right along. Like a new house build though the finishing touches will seem to go so much slower because of the detailing required for the finished product. We are enjoying your adventure & excitement as your dream is taking shape.🙏🇨🇦👍

    That's a huuge bit...
I mean, what a statuesque lady. The consistency of welds and quality make it seem like it was machine made and is really quite impressive. I can't wait to see you guys take her out for the first time.
