Honestly, Alexei is the only person I regularly see touring a Bering that I enjoy listening to. The man knows how much to say, and keeps it professional. Respect.
Hi alexei, I’m a working class guy who drives a semi for a living and I could never afford any of your beautiful boats but I love watching videos about them especially naughty styles 👍 can’t wait to see the finished product all the best from England ❤
That is why Bering should reintroduce the "Pocket Explorer" 50 and produce 50 units so more of that Bering DNA will explore the world in centuries to come at a more affordable price. I'll be able to pick one up on the second-hand market down the road, and so will the craftsmen working at Bering. But that's a small boat/no license class so will probably not happen. That said, it is still legal to dream about self solo exploring the world in a Bering.
I think the reason the 65 is so popular is because as a member of a yacht club. The most common size of courtesy slip (at most West Coast U.S. clubs) under the “Yacht Club Reciprocal Agreement” is, 65’ (68’LOA), or under.
@@jaquigreenlees In BC I wouldn't bother going into a marina and stay at anchor. And use the tender to get onto shore. I think the 72 provides a lot more value for apparently a similar price point. My 2c.
@@peterbodifee Yup, for the majority of the time that works perfectly fine. Emptying the blackwater needs to happen inside a marina space, which brings the size restrictions into play, or out in international waters which is not always convenient.
@@jaquigreenlees Yeah good point. I owner/skipper of sailing yacht, who I race with, cruises 3 months during the summer in BC waters. He told me about this problem too, as his black water tank is relatively small and he needs to discharge every 2 weeks. I am assuming that having a facility (like cruise ships and super yachts have) to compact blackwater is an option on a Bering.
I love your boats. They're all well designed for safety and longevity with the proper upkeep. Very capable for crossing oceans and exploring. When I'm ready for a yacht, it'll be a Bering for me.
Absolutely beautiful, both boats would meet anyone’s requirements but as you said the 72 is just more, I would pick the 72 when I win the lottery. Any day now 😂
Great video, but it would be interesting to have a realistic estimate of the total running costs for one of these. Being able to afford to buy the boat doesn't necessarily mean you can afford to maintain it year after year.
What I love about the Bering yachts is that are built to commercial vessel standards and the comfort of super yachts. How Alexei has managed to put this into a design and built for a vessel under 24m is unique in this world. If you are looking for an owner/operator yacht that can take you in safety and comfort to places where you will be on your own: his yachts are really the only option you have. It may come at a price, but there is no price on being safe at any given time.
Amazing boats, you sir have built the most perfect, most capable trawler yachts in the world! I missed my calling we I went into aviation as my life career at 18 yrs old! I discovered the love of the sea in my later years, too late to change my career choice. But I dream of living aboard my own yacht one day and if I ever won the lottery, this 72 would be my dream yacht. I envy the persons who can afford this lifestyle, they made all the right choices in life, what a dream boat! Thank you for the wonderful tour! 👍🥰
As usual another nice explanation of the Bering brand i`m such in love with Bering product mabe because of the transparency and honesty of Mrs Mikhaylov but one things for sure the 88 for me is the ultimate explorer yacht thank you and keep the evolution going 🙏😉
Very nice presentation. Personally, my favorite is the B 78 as I love the lines, shallow draft, and shape, yet these two presented here are attractive. How. much external modifications are allowed on the 78? Thank you.👍🏻 ✨🌊💨🛥️⚓️🏝️🌞✨
I can imagine that the reason that you are getting B65 orders instead of B72 may be the same that happened to us. We went to Bering for a B65 because we imagined it big and intimidating enough for owner operated. Fortunately, based on your recommendation we settled for B72. We are very happy that we did so. B72 is not intimidating at all and handles very easily and we get all the extra space very much needed, that you very well describe. Hope it helps.
@@Beringyachts I like the smaller overall size of the 65, but I think the 72 makes more sense for having more systems and a larger battery bank capacity. So I would go with the 72!
I'm interested in Bering yachts. I want to know about the certification category . Also why people are preferring B65 over B72 while the latter is a bit bigger which offers more room? how much is the difference in the price for same or very similar configuration?
Thank you so much Alexei I like your walk through better then the girl from Nautistyles but thanks again hope to see your boats in the USA boat show. Also love the 92 thats the one I really want.
Вы лучшие.Может у кого то отделка и богатство интерьера получше ,но.................но тогда возрастет и цена.А по надежности все остальные стальные яхты далеко позади.И этот факт является АБСОЛЮТНО решающим при выборе.
How many years experience should an owner operator (couple) have to captain/crew a 72? This isnt like a sailboat where one can just go through training to obtain license then go out and buy and captain a 65' catamaran.
Yes, the layout is almost the same. By 'make up,' are you referring to the interior? If so, each customer's interior is custom-designed according to their preferences.
Honestly, I can see why the 65 is still popular. The 72 is bigger, but it doesn’t seem that what is gained is enough to justify spending more money, going over 100 gross ton master credential in the US, and longer slip. Seems if I was ever in the financial position to buy one of your yachts, my decision would be between the 65 and bigger model, not between 65 and 72. Not that my opinion matters much, but that would be my guess why you’re having a hard time stopping 65 production. Also, I wouldn’t get rid of crew quarters, if you choose not to sleep anyone there, it can still be used for storage, but at least you have the option to have more people on board.
Bering 65 is under 20 maters so it can go to more marinas and is up to 40% cheaper to berth. Bering 65 is under 100 gross tons so it needs under 100 ton license

Hi Bering, I know it’s up to the owners but it would be great to have Victoria and Rico do a two part series on these two beautiful boats, can you organise that for us please? I can see one big fault with these two vessels, as a messy person who loves fishing and crabbing in croc infested waters my wife would consign me to the swim platform and the dinghy, no way would I be able to step foot or spill fish guts on the teak or carpets let alone sit on the couch. I’d need a working class version, painted decks, an outside shower and a vinyl interior.
Have asked this question many times, yet have never received an answer. As fabulous as the Bering vessels are, why wet exhaust? Why not dry exhaust? Why not keel cooled? The mere thought of corrosive salt water in the heat exchanger is very concerning. I am a poor person. Will never even afford a row boat. But that always troubles me a vessel that nice & expensive is not commercial as regards the exhaust and cooling.
Honestly, Alexei is the only person I regularly see touring a Bering that I enjoy listening to. The man knows how much to say, and keeps it professional. Respect.

I love Bering Yachts! Lord please let me hit the lotto so I can go order it.

Bering 65 is my ultimate dream boat. Would love to outfit one as a full-time liveaboard for one person and I'd live on one. :)

Yes I’m sure someone spending $4.0Million on a boat is worried about get a free night at a yacht club!
It's even worse here in British Columbia, 66% of ALL marinas have an loa cap of 60 feet or less. Fully 50% are at 45 feet loa cap.

I would buy a Bering just because of Alexi. A Nobel character..
Much more enjoyable to hear Alexei talk without interruption from Chatty Cathy.
What a wonderful video comparing the two yachts. So many thanks for all this important information. 🤗

Yes, the layout is almost the same. By 'make up,' are you referring to the interior? If so, each customer's interior is custom-designed according to their preferences.

selling expensive boats is weird because you can't just have a floor model sitting around.
A boat by any other name is still Bering.
If I win a billion dollars, I’m going to ask Aleksei to build me a custom luxury icebreaker so I can go to the North Pole
This is so unfair. Throw in a B60 cat and its like being a labrador trying to choose between three full dog bowls.
That’s the beauty of it-whether you’re a Labrador, a Beagle, or even a Great Dane, there’s a perfect bowl (or boat) for everyone! 🐶⚓
