Honestly agree with Josh 100%. Last great team that's not littered with 5 stars. Sadly, I think that the CFB natty will be purchased from here on out
Nope don't use that BS narrative players have been bought for decades Keyshawn Johnson and many others Reggie Bush etc have been paid. SEC has been doing this for a long time it's just legal now and coaches still illegally tamper as Nick Saban said himself on national TV.

Ok, I’m a Michigan fan and I will readily admit that Michigan choked against TCU but the suggestion that they choked against the 2021 Georgia team is just not true. That Georgia team was leaps and bounds better than Michigan that year and the game was as one sided as you’d expect from that kind of disparity. So Michigan has a 2-1-1 playoff record, 2 wins 1 loss and 1 choke
Michigan wasn't prepared on 2021, they were just happy to be there. They were partying for most of the time.

The play that epitomizes this Michigan football season is Blake Corum's TD run right after Zak Zinter left the field with a broken leg. With the help of a home crowd, this team was galvanized for the post-season.

Thats the glory of this Michigan team. When what Connor did came out, everyone figured thats why they won. And Michigan responded again, and again, and again, and squashed all those accusations. Truly a special college football team
Michigan's record against the spread with/without Connor tells a different story, but at the end of the day there are a ton of factors that went into Michigan winning the title. They were loaded with talent and coached very well. However, we'll never truly know how much the advanced scouring helped them, so this season will always have a giant question mark. Oh well.
@domtheserialhobbyist bro what? They won every game after it all came out so it didn't do much at all😭 with your logic, I can look at the spread of every game, and if it wasn't covered then there must not have been cheating. Like huh??
@domtheserialhobbyist Before Signgate broke, the whole country was saying "Michigan just hasn't played anybody yet." After Signgate broke, Michigan started playing ranked teams for the first time that year...including #17 Iowa, #7 Penn State, #2 Ohio State, #4 Alabama, & #2 Washington. Before Signgate, Michigan hadn't played a single ranked team much less 4 in the top ten. So of course things tightened up.
Additionally, JJ was hobbled by an ankle injury from the Penn State game. It was bad enough that he didn't practice in the week before the next game against Maryland (and it showed). He wasn't really mobile again until perhaps the playoffs.
@@leojanuszewski1019 Exactly. There are a lot of variables to consider. People who only talk about the advanced scouting are being disingenuous. But you have to include it in the conversation when you talk about this team.
@@The__Kipster I'm not trying to argue that Michigan would not have won the title if Connor was never connected to the program, only that we don't know how big of an impact it had. You can't buy heart and you can't buy guts. NIL may have closed the gap between the leaders and best and all the rest, but the personal development that is an inherent part of Ann Arbor, Michigan is the likely reason why Michigan Football 145 wins the Natty.
It will be quite easy to create a narrative of 145s National Championship season as compelling as that of 144. After all, our likely starter at QB overcame Leukemia to walk on to the team and ball out and lead us to consecutive National Championships. This will make 'Rudy' look like chopped liver when it all plays out.
For the people who've hated Michigan for years and years, I'm guessing your new favorite word is "cheaters" Since that's the only thing keeping you "in" any argument involving Michigan's National Title. Cheated not developed.
@@NateBee if we really cheated would have lost before or during the playoffs. It's called karma. Michigan was just the best team in 2023 deal with it.
Cheated*
@@NateBee If they weren't developed they wouldn't have had 13 draft picks that were all 3 and 4 star players.
@@NateBee poor little baby
I like how we're supposed to just pretend like they didn't get caught cheating red handed.. even Josh went viral on Halloween for exposing Stalions and his glasses.. it's a joke..
Anyone still saying Michigan cheated is still in denial.
You’re the ones in denial pal.
Anyone who said Michigan didn't cheat when coach was caught trying to destroy cheating evidence by the FBI is in denial.
😂 What are you taklking about they did cheat. Harbaugh wouldn't have taken that suspension if they didn't have the program dead to rights I think you got that denial thing backwards.
Only UM fans are in denial Chris partridge got fired for trying to destroy cheating evidence
Didn't a UM staffer get fired for trying to get rid of evidence of cheating
I don't have a problem with the kids/players. However the adults are cheaters.
I like Michigan, but I still think they cheated.
It’s crazy how fast everyone forgot about the cheating allegations. This team at one point was debated if they should even be allowed in the playoffs. The allegations go back to the first game where Michigan moved past Ohio St in 2021 so all the success since then seems fraudulent. The TCU loss demonstrates this perfectly as TCU changed their plays for the game.
The “cheating” allegations are irrelevant the moment that Michigan *still won the games* after the news broke.
You can’t have it both ways: Either the sign stealing was a huge advantage and Michigan won because of it, which would’ve been proven if they LOST their toughest games after the story broke, OR the sign stealing did happen but was not the advantage many people thought it was, hence why they still WON their toughest games.
Furthermore, I love how you conveniently forgot teams like OSU changed their signs for 2022 AND 2023, still lost. As for the TCU game, Michigan losing was not a surprise at all because everyone loved to forget Harbaugh had a horrible playoff/post-season record prior to then, the fact the investigation by the B1G showed that none of the coordinators nor Harbaugh new about it, etc, etc.
Your argument cuts both ways, but you’re either too biased or too stupid to see it.
The only people who still bring up the signs are people who have never played this sport at a serious level lmao 🤣
Because it's a complete nonstory. Using your "logic," if michigan only won because of it, that means ohio, psu, Bama, wash, Iowa, etc all didn't change their signs even though they had several weeks to do so after the story broke. If that were true, they deserved to lose. In reality, michigan was just the best team in the country and your ohio education is showing
The only people debating if they should be allowed in the playoffs were of NO significance. It was only Michigan haters and OSU fans....
@@alexharris9129 you act like Big10 teams weren’t very frustrated with the Big 10 commissioner and some teams put multiple players callers on the field as an attempt to not get their plays stolen. There was a lot of smoke around the situation and it got too much evidence for it to go away so silently.
lmfao the team cheating their asses off, that is their legacy
Their legacy will always be 15-0 undefeated National Champions. Your legacy will always be sniveling in youtube comment sections because your team still lost after Stalions was removed halfway into the year.
The 2023 Michigan football team was built to win college football games. They weren't built to turn out a bunch of first and second round picks, in the NFL draft. Michigan didn't have the star wide receivers. Or great corner backs and safeties. Michigan develops tight ends. NFL teams want star receivers and great cornerbacks. Michigan has none of those players. Michigan may turn out to be better team than expected in 2024. But they still won't have those players who are chosen in the first or second round of the NFL draft.
Will Johnson would have been the first CB taken in this year's draft
Are views that bad that you have to rage bait for clicks? I thought you were above this Pate what with all the preaching from your soapbox on the sanctity/integrity/values of this sport. Guess you either die a hero or live long enough to become a sellout
lol what?!
I’m sorry , this year’s Michigan team was good , but far from great. I’m sure all the lame UM fans will come at me but they know they got lucky. They are lucky UGA had to play Bama in their conference championship game and not Iowa.
The same Iowa team that beat Kentucky 21-0 in the bowl game a few weeks after Georgia only beat Kentucky 16-6?
@@michaelbrandon9791 hey smart guy, UGA beat Kentucky 51-13

Wait... last I checked cheating, deifying a guilty party, and villifying everyone wasn't what college football stood for.
You're right, college football stood for buying the best players under the table for decades and pretending Saban was the best coach of all time when he was average in the Big Ten and average in the NFL.
@@HyzersGRFACTS 💯
They will always be known as cheaters
I'll give this Michigan team credit: they went out and won every game they played. Despite everything, they went out and won. That said, there are two caveats to this team, in my mind:
-- This team's legacy can't and won't be finalized until the NCAA gives their last word on the sign-stealing scandal. One way or the other, they have to say something, or else the spectre of sign-stealing will loom over this team forever
-- As a Georgia fan, I don't have a doubt in my mind that Georgia would have beaten Michigan if they'd played in the playoff. Make no mistake: we blew our chance by dropping that game to Bama, but part of me will always think that Michigan was fortunate that we got bounced from the playoff
Still, congrats to Michigan for winning the whole shebang, and special congratulations on beating that crybaby Ryan Day three straight times.
Michigan doesn't win a championship without the covid allowance for 5th & 6th year seniors.
And culture change. And coaching changes. And player development changes and...eh whatever.
But they did. Go Blue
And 2 NFL defensive coordinator (one of them being a coach now)
@@TheRealMacAndCheese So you agree that having 5-6 years to develop players matters?

Nope that's TTUN stuff they cornered the market on that, in the bowl game Bucks didn't have a QB who could throw. UM will be able to relate to that this season.
