I don't know if you noticed but you started pulling with 1050 fates and then got 90 more fates after you finished the C6. At the end of R5 you had still 90 pulls left, so you actually got C6 R5 with 1050 pulls, the exact number of fates you initially started with. Sounds cool

Ike I’ve spent money for crystals but… that’s so much money. At least he has sponsors but it’s a painful sight. The only reason I ever whaled was for c0 hu tao and I’m very embarrassed at the amount of money.

Everytime a content creator whale loses a 50/50 i never feel bad about it but you are one of the few content creators that I absolutely hope gets all the luck. Your dps showdowns and speedruns are incredibly fun to watch and you also need the characters to be c6 for those world record runs you do.

Exp books is what I miss the most, and I do buy a battle pass here and there. It is pretty hard for a low spender to have enough mora and exp books, I think it is my biggest struggle and I have to spend resin farming these
Same this month I had to purchase the BP because I was out of books & mora.
Getting mora and exp books in teapot helps in long run. If you are buying every battlepass and is not wasting resources on certain characters, i think you will have decent amount of these as months go by.
@@MY-fl5xl I'm not buying every battle pass, and certainly would be much easier if I did. My point is just that there is not a better way and the "not optimal" way to farm resources, I'm sure is just not enough
Got Xiao recently and don't have enough to put his talents on lvl 9 or keep improving his artifact and I'm out of exp books, even farming everything the open world has to offer... it's just not enough :D
@@luanzisseable agree with that. It will just take time so it is always better to save the resources for your planned characters if you are low spender and skip spending on certain chatacters. So when you get the character, resources will be there. Artifacts will be the last one to upgrade if you want the character to be used asap as you can use artifacts from other characters.

I really wanna main Heizou and also main Anemo in general so I'm saving for him from now on, but having Heizou 9/10/9 lvl 90 is a pretty big cost. C6 is even more necessary for a 4⭐ so I bough blessing for morr primo gems, but don't have enough money for battle pass, so is gonna be only blessing for now. I have only 260k mora right now, pretty bad, and today me and some friends did a mora farming route, earning a total 20k mora killing monsters in the open world xD hard times (my goal is to have 8 anemo characters and play only anemo as a mono element challenge)

I'm pretty sure the reason you are so stocked up on mora and XP cards is shown at 3:03 ... Cleaning out all the bundles is something only a whale would do, and it's basically all mora, XP and enhancement ore. The rest of us farm crystal and ley line blossoms for that, and it's quite a drag when you also want to farm artifacts or level up materials... So the average player I bet is struggling for both mora and XP cards.
9 5 stars in 480 pulls is insane
Xingqiu clunky? I've never heard that before lol. He feels very smooth to play, and his skill takes a bit of time to cast yes, but it has a very high multiplier and can nuke. Also, his rain swords applying a lot hydro is actually amazing, because the more hydro, the better pyro carries can Vaporize especially Hu Tao and Xiangling, since they have no ICD on CA or Burst. His hydro application is top-tier.
He is clunky, generally by design 4 star characters have a slightly longer animation or less snappy animation than 5 stars, ofc you don't know cause you probably didn't have to play him as a main DPS for the early era of the game
@@haruyanto8085 It's not really because they're 4 star. Yanfei, Yun Jin, Fischl, Thoma and others I can't think about all have smooth auto attack, well made and not too long .skill animation, and their burst certainly are less intrusive than a whole cutscene. Meanwhile, Klee, Yae Miko, Mona, Jean (her auto remind me the most of Xingqiu's in the clunkiness) all have rough part in their kit.
Not everyone has the same opinion. In my situation, I don't really use xingqui because I am a waifu meta kind of person even though I know that he is OP.
you made great points as to why he is meta and will probably be meta for a long time but all those points doesn't disprove the argument of clunky, respectfully.
saying he's not clunky, he has high dmg multipliers doesn't make sense.. and his hydro application IS top tier with his burst and the 2 skill hits but i think what he meant was the swords that rotate around the character after using E has a clunky inconsistent way of applying hydro or at least that's how he feels.
I felt he was clunky when i first got him too, i felt the same about xiangling when i first got her and it’s definitely all about the elemental skill, as individual units they suck and the only time i dont notice it for support units is when they have 100% uptime and am only using them with their burst and they keep up application with my main dps, just like iwin im not saying they are bad just feel clunky
Got her on my literal first pull, about 30 pity. Hadn’t pulled (or played really) since the Ganyu rerun and only had 8 fates, was saving up for a 10 pull but was streaming to a friend that day and decided to do them for the hell of it. It is now mandatory that he’s watching whenever I pull
so tempted to roll for yelan lol...

Serious. I gave in and rolled for Yelan. 60 pulls later, got qiqi. Decided that was a sign to wait for kazuha.
If you are on 0 - 20 pity just try for 10-40 pulls depends on your pity. You csn get an early Yelan/guaranteed next 5s limited if you got lucky. And only cost you for 1-40 pulls rather than 75~ but if you got no signs of luck.. then better save save save until you next desired 5s shows up
Oh btw if you are on guaranteed and f2p/low spender then i suggest you to skip her for kazuboy / sumeru guys and gals since they are your top priorities.

I think the main difference in the feel of Yelan and Xingqiu, at least in regards to 'clunkiness', comes down to how interactive their Skills are. Xingqiu is just 1-click-done every 30 seconds without a Sac Sword proc. Yelan can still 1-click-done, but with her Barb refreshing mid-fight through her Skill, you're given incentive to hold and snag everyone, on top of being able to do it every 10 seconds.
Also, she buffs Eula, which is an absolute win in my book.
Yelan to xingqiu is like Kazuha to sucrose
many calls little difference, but underestimates the "fluid-ness" in practice during combat, all of the QoL improvements they bring
it was really hard to explain to my friends how kazuha is different and what he brings instead of sucrose on his first banner

I was very fortunate to get the pulls I did. Have been saving for months and got exactly what I wanted with plenty of leftover primos. But I still cannot believe how much money goes into a C6 character and R5 weapon

i was ecstatic just winning the 50/50 for yelans signature weapon and getting yelan on guaranteed pity within the 110 pulls i had saved up. seeing this amount of fates being used to get C6 R5 really hurt me to watch.
xinqiu elemental skill does take a while to cast but it also does a nice amount of damage so it doesn't feel as clunky
No hate here. XQ c6 & no sac sword is probably more clunkier than a yelan c0 any bow. Sac sword helps XQ alot. Probably all sac weapons help clunky characters to be a better version of them.

To answer your question, as a Welkin only on a quest to max ascend everyone (I'm not even aiming for 90/90 cuz that's gonna take forever, just 80/90), I'm always struggling with EXP books, so yes, it is because you are a whale :D
if u pay only welkin ,clear every quest, abyss, daliy, get every code form new update you should got around 600 pull (in 1 year) . and yeah you can spend all your primogem in just 10-17 minute wew
Pretty sure the glut of xp books comes from buying those packs regularly. Just checked and it is something like 15 US$ for a pack with 50 books. Not something anyone below megawhale level is going to do to for something they can get with less than a day of resin.
Dude spent hundreds of acquaint fates for a c6 Kaeya and didn't even thought of buying that Kaeya const on the shop, lol.
Moga thinking using Wanderer's Advice instead of Hero's Wit to top off xp is "stingy"...
meanwhile F2P players top off the last few hundred with overworld kills or boss xp in order to not waste a Wanderer's Advice.
personally i dont think xq is clunky to use, he's really fun to me, because his skill has high multipliers and its not too slow either.
That's not the same thing, try actually playing him not use e or burst then swap, he is clunky but that's by design
If you dont have a high refinement Sac sword or Fav sword he's *very* clunky and not so easy to build. Thats a fact.
He still has superior hydro application compared to Yelan, but thats only really a point in Hu Tao-Geo comps. For the rest Yelan is generally better: easier to build and use.

I got her weapon and Yelan c3 with a total of 130€ invested (and about one 50/50 saved up). I didn't lose a single 50/50 and got the weapon right away and only even got to soft pity once, all others were early, I'm so happy. xD
EDIT: also I can rlly recommend her, she is the most fun character to me so far.

when i whale i usually skip for 4*s and play it out for 5*s for the drama. I want to have a proper recording when i finally get my C6 Diluc :)
as for the books, i try to use the purple ones as little as possible because i don't farm them at all, and especially with Sumeru around the corner, i want to actually have plenty ready. So old characters i haven't built yet and a few newer ones will get a lot of the red books used because i have more of those (similar to you). i started on my phone and then created a new account that i whale on on my playstation and that account i was a lot quicker on leveling up ?? or something because i barely have any of the white books, so i always have to "waste" the middle ones anyway. sometimes i tell myself not to care but i see the warning and i cannot physically accept letting 2000+ exp go to waste lmao

i usually do single pulls because the only 2 times that i got a 5 star in a ten pull, they were both at 81 pity which is the furthest I've ever had to go (and i lost the 50/50). all of my lucky pulls were single pulls for some reason. and I'm f2p so i don't have that many summons to do anyways
