Hello! Those were from me. In the card I explained that the artwork and jewelry were made by Native American artists from my home (Pacific Northwest). I said the jewelry could be for their wives or mothers. But, I guess they weren't read the card, lol.

My postal notification said the package arrived on Feb 18, so I assume Akram, the creator, held the gifts (and food to try) until they were back in town to film. They tried the Trader Joe's cookie butter I sent, so I'm excited to see what's next!
The earrings were nice and the artwork was a wonderful gift! Hopefully, there is someone in their town who can translate the card. The host might have also translated for them after the video.

@@jacksonbigdog2 the Ojibwa I have roots to, are in the upper peninsula of Michigan- however, please note- that as a more non-warring tribe ( in comparison to the more nomadic plains tribes) many Ojibwa are now in Canada. They moved up there as their land in the US was more and more encroached upon. So now many people believe that Ojibwa are Canadian- and off course- many are! 😂
Hopefully, the gentlemen can find someone to read the card that came with each gift. It might explain the nature of the artwork. I am presuming the earrings are in honor of International Women's Day

Chirpy Mike is correct. Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Canada. The artwork appears to be Haida. The Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian, and Eyak. The first two known for their artwork which can look similar even tho the tribes are distinct from each other.
I think the people who have said these gifts are from Native American tradition are right....Native American jewellery is famous the world over...Those beautiful blue stones are Turquoise gems and silver is the metal used in making this jewellery....I myself own earrings made of turquoise and silver and I also own a set of 3 silver rings....They fit together on one finger...The first one is carved with markings like a river...the second one is carved with bear footprints inlaid with Turquoise gems and the third is carved with sun symbols...all together they tell of a bear wading through a river as the sun is shining down on him....I love the way nature and wildlife are used in creating these lovely items...They are very special gifts to receive....Bye the way....I'm from England! 😊
And by the way… Turquoise stones, which is what the Disney bs version of “Pocahontas” (not her real name, just a nickname) wore, are from the southwest, and used by natives there, she was in Virginia, on the other side of the country and more north… trades were a thing but…
They are more unisex too but I'm not sure culturally the right ear rings will be worn with the men as with the women. Many cultures have their own versions of what men and women wear as ear rings.
Dr. Tahir, the gift you each received is ear rings. With yours, when God brings a girl friend into your life, you can give them to her as a gift! Men, you can give yours to a special child, wife, daughter, etc. Did the sender do the art work you each received? American Indians are people that immigrated from India. Indigenous people of the Americas are the people that have lived in the Americas for approximately 17000 years.

That is traditional North American Indigenous art and jewelry. Earrings are probably for the women in your lives. I live on Vancouver Island (Canada) and there are many examples of fine indigenous art everywhere you look. Each piece has a story attached. Really fascinating. Fun fact: the indigenous Nations straddle the border between U.S.A. and Canada and before colonization these people would have had their traditional territories covering a wide swathe across the upper and lower portions of both countries. Some believe that they should be granted dual citizenship. 😀
Yes! Rightly stated! I have Ojibwa roots and my family is from the UP of Michigan… but the Ojibwa are also all over Canada! They should have dual citizenship because they like literally had their homes between both countries. 🤣👍😂😂🤣

How special is it to get to make such connections with people these days when the world seems more divided than ever in some ways. The artwork looks like totems from Alaska, the largest of the 50 states, which is separated from the lower 48 by parts of Canada (British Columbia province). Or at least from the Pacific Northwest region (Washington state, possibly down into Oregon). I visited Alaska, once. It is magical!

I do hope that Mr. Akram or Mr. Sajid read those cards for the men. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the earrings and the art pieces are Native American/Indigenous. The lovely lady who sent them is likely from one of America's indigenous tribes and she might very well have created them herself. If there's a chance in an upcoming video, I know that I would love to hear the backstory behind these beautiful gifts and I'm betting that I'm not the only one!
