I’m glad to see they gave money with the wallets. There is an old wive’s tale in the US that says it’s bad luck to give an empty wallet or purse to someone. I always put a little money in one when I give it as a gift.
Oh wow... 5000, pakistani rupees, yes? that amount is about as much as I spend every other day or so, on grocery shopping. And that's grocery shopping that might last for about those 2 maybe 3 days as well.
Some of these comments... Wow... Disappointing, to say the least. This channel is so wholesome and giving and full of friendship, care, sharing and love....
and yet, some of these comments are bordering hateful, mean, accusatory and frankly, it's pretty gross. I'm embarrassed for some of you, tbh. Use you brains before you engage your fingers on the keyboard to warrior that which needs no defense, but rather you cause offense.

I agree. I can’t believe these adults act like juvenile delinquents. I was seething after reading a lot of these comments. These men exude love, kindness, not an ounce of meanness in their hearts. I wonder, do they have the tradition that a wallet should always be given with money or it's bad luck? That's a superstition I grew up with, doesn't have to be more than a token amount but it's important that it's not empty. Do other places believe the same?

I just cannot express my love for these guys, to see their faces light up and their happiness at a time like this. BUT, what I love about them is their innocence and purity. The are happy with their lot, their lack of things, especially money. Yet they are happy. Please God always take care of these people and people like them. Even the TPT team are so incredibly kind and generous. Without TPT we would have no idea of these tribal people so thank you TPT for this channel, may you always have great success.
The channel needs to say something to the viewer's on Mr Chaduary, where he is? If he's still associated with the channel? or whatever say something. While we continue liking and supporting Rana, Gul Sher and Mr Tahir..... Mr Chaduary has become like a part of our extended family and we need to know, then determine if we continue supporting this channel or not. You guys at TPT can't just add another cast member and say nothing and hope we don't notice or won't say anything.
He might be cooking over the holiday for the village. The 'breaking the fast' meal after dusk because he loves to cook, but they just said in the pinned comment that he is busy. Rana's daughter in law is the family cook. He said she booted him out of the kitchen when he tried to cook. That's funny!
He might be traveling to film another trip like Dubai or maybe his family needs him. He will come back, that's all we really need to know.

I think Tahir needs a shirt that says "Trust me, I'm a doctor". I'm sure it would make him laugh. Rana, you don't look old enough to be a grandpa. You must have married young. Well, I had my girl at 39, and I'm 60 now. You're little baby granddaughter that you showed us is adorable though!

As for Rana's age, I believe he and Mr. Chaudhary have spoken in past videos about having been friends since childhood and I'm pretty sure that Mr. Chaudhary is in his mid to late 50s. Maybe even 60/61? You also have to take into account that in their culture, they marry quite young... usually by the time they're 18 and while I'm not sure it's as popular now, marriage was usually pre-arranged by the parents when the bride and groom were around 13 or 14.
I know that he's been a widower for quite a few years now but I don't know the circumstances or when his wife passed. It seems that he only has the one son and I know that there are at least a couple of other grandchildren, but I'm not sure how many in total.
I believe that he's lived with his son and daughter-in-law for quite a long time now. Probably since his wife passed. And TBH, they might have all lived together from the time his son married because it's also common in their culture for a newly married couple to move in with the groom's family.
I wish that I could give you one specific source for all of this information, but it's all just things I've picked up along the way, in bits and pieces.
I started watching the channel in their early days. I believe they'd only been uploading videos for a few months when I found them. 😊

Damaged during terrible floods in Pakistan.
As I am allergic to perfume/fragrance, I now understand why I see and smell young immigrant men in our city who walk by doused in so much perfume. Apparently, as Tahir explained, it is a blessing...although not for me.
