i can do whatever i want with this as long as it does not get broadcast, which this alert did not. and i bought this equipment from broadcast supply companies.
DamienGamer 15 yep! Did fire testing for a summer internship, and own a few EAS systems. Unfortunately, I dont have time anymore to make RUclips videos, since I am about to graduate from college. Thanks for the comment
So that's how y'all get the warnings out on radios and such. I mean I know how they get out warnings I just didn't know where those freaking annoying three screeching tones came from
It’s called an Endec, Not a radio. You should NOT Buy it, As they should only be bought by people who use it for Buisness purposes and for people who know how to use them.
@@619xnomo Actually, yes, and no. The reason it because I own one, and they do not transmit UNLESS it is connected to some kind of transmitter. The sage digital endec is a digital encoder, with CAP or Common Alerting Protocal. It is a XML based file with a message in the headers I believe. I do not recommend getting a sage digital endec due to how hard they are to set up. You can get a sage eas endec, tft eas 911, or a sam, or a gorman redlich which I have. You can get one, unless you know what you are doing like I am.
Wow, amazing video! Congrats on being 3 years ahead of schedule!
About 3 years later, that voice (NEW Paul) replaced Tom, and NEW Paul is still the main voice of the NWS.
That's the new Paul voice during the time Tom ruled NOAA Weather Radio. Paul replaced Tom, Donna, and the older Paul in 2016.
im sorry. i moved back to school today... and left my encoders at home. i can do it at a later time possibly.

New Paul???? They don't Use New Paul in 2013, only from 2016 and 2020/2021
its just another place the endec has to store audio. i can upload audio files to the NV Audio location easily instead of recording it manually
You made this video in 2013? How did you get the new voice of weather radio before weather radio got it in 2016?
Its a generic TTS voice I purchased with the software I use
@@tor94 And Yet this is the voice they use today. You were three years ahead of time lol.
@@tor94 Can you create a Tornado Warning for Pike County, Ohio Until 4:15 PM EST

if PinkSheep got a job at the Natonial Weather Service, i say that because tht TTS sounds like PinkSheep
Gaming Guy pinksheep is the voice of NWS.
It's TOMs voice. they killed tom though...
..??
Hey. You are the same guy who does all of those from the field fire alarm tests. I had no idea you did this too.

Oh, and you should connect that to your TV at home, just in case of an actual emergency.
That radio showed Coal County, Oklahoma. That's where I live
and now this voice is now being tested by the NWS
Why these alerts going off for bro the fuck like when the tornado come your way or started going off then you go to low ground
So that's how y'all get the warnings out on radios and such. I mean I know how they get out warnings I just didn't know where those freaking annoying three screeching tones came from
A later time is all I need!!
Was this the first time the Paul voice was utilized?
He recreated it. And then 3 years later. He correctly guessed that this tts would be used.
What was that high-pitched beep right before the relay?
how do you get that radio so I can replay alerts if I miss it

Are these valid tones
At the time i made the video they were valid

Did that voice come from the OK station?
I want one of those
I need this endec
Why is the Digital Endec grey?
The top one is the digital endec and probably due to bad lighting
@@tor94 Ok
It should say this is not a test
