- A great sketchbook idea for beginners or anyone trying to get started sketching. I'm using Caran d'Ache Neocolor II water soluble wax pastels, and Stabilo Woodys to draw fast sketches from reference pictures. Sketch along with me as I complete 2 minute realtime drawings of 4 different pictures of vehicles.
I had a lot of fun with this and I hope you enjoy watching the full process.

I really like the car and the train. I am just blown away every time I see you do these warm up sketches vs the finished sketches at the end of the video. Girl you work magic in these videos. Well done. Can’t wait to see more.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you are enjoying them! I love making these videos for everyone too! More to come! 😊👍
Wow! The train turned out fabulous!
Thank you so much! 😊👍
Enjoy these videos. Sketching into painting. Love the textures too! Nice!
Thanks! I’m so glad you’re enjoying them! 😊👍
I love the car and the front of the train, because of the shapes are so good🎉
Thanks! I love the shapes too! They were fun to play with and add depth. 😊👍
I can't choose a favorite of these. I love them all!! ❤
Thanks so much! ❤️😊👍
I‘m again just speechless how your first scribbles turn out in such beautiful drawings. I usually sketch with an pencil or an ink-pen, so very fine lines. But your scribbles with your big pens looks and the beginning like a „child-drawing“ (nothing against child-drawings, everybody has to start somehow but I can‘t find a nicer word for it) but than as soon as you work out your scribbles it is sooooo amazing and I love everyone! I just love how you laugh about your process, how much fun you have and the ability to make about every scribble an amazing drawing. It encourage me to scribble more instead of having every line on the right place at the beginning. Thank you so much for letting us look over your shoulder and your thinking process while be creative. Looking forward to all your videos 🎨🖍️🖌️
I think that’s why I like using the Neocolors so much. They really allow me to sketch more loose and not get too fixed on perfection. I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos and finding them helpful! Thank you for sharing your feedback! 😊👍
Fabulous. I love watching how you turn your initial scribbles into beautiful pictures. I'm trying to follow your 'principles' of doing a quick sketch and then going back and working into to it. I'm getting there...slowly 🙂
That’s great! You’ll get there! It takes time and practice. I can see a big difference from my very first attempts, and I’m still learning and growing from it. 😊👍
So fun! The train and the car were the most fun to watch😊
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed them! 😊👍
I love doing these with you! Both my 9 year old daughter and I like to draw along. So fun!
That’s great! I’m glad you both enjoy it! 😊👍
I agree, I think the teal car ended up having the best transformation, but the train is also really amazing! I think my 2 favorites were the car and boat! I loved how you drew the water, and the sunset, and then the boat.. I’m not sure, something about it I LOVE!!!!😍😍😍😍😍 I don’t like the bike too much (personal preference, not that I don’t like your drawing), but I love the stone, it turned out great! Anyways, amazing job, can’t wait for the next! Have a blessed day🙂🙂
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you like the boat! The water and sunset were really fun and brought it to life for sure! 😊👍
Hi, I'm from Spain but I live in Miami. I love your videos, they inspire me a lot. I just started painting a little while ago. I really liked the drawing of the train and the one of the car, the two that I thought would turn out worse. In my opinion, they were the ones that turned out better. I'm already looking forward to seeing the next video. Greetings. I hope you're doing well.
Thanks! I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos! I hope you are getting some good inspiration! More to come! 😊👍
Your amazing! I loved the car and the train. Also.
Thanks! I really surprised myself on this one! 😊👍
Love the train, i have drawing lessons and in perspective is not easy but it is good and i love doing every one, so much fun, thank you. 🥰
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for sketching with me! 😊👍
All I can say is WOW...
Thank you so much! 😊👍
The train turned out really great. And funny, I thought at the beginning that was the one you were making the most mess out of. LOL.
It definitely went through some changes! I’m glad you liked how it turned out! 😊👍
I enjoyed all of this! You laughing was making me laugh😂
I think the car and train are definitely my favorites. Which one, it’s a tie. They’re both good.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Glad I could make you laugh too! Thanks for sharing your favorites! ❤️😊👍
Your very good at this scribbled art, the train and car were the best, how you put them right is very clever.thanks can’t wait to see what you do next.😊
Thank you so much! More to come! 😊👍
I love the car and train❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much for sharing your favorites! ❤️😊👍
I love these videos! There’s something kinda powerful about starting with scribbling the way you do, and I love how you transform them into complete drawings 😊
I’m so glad you enjoy them! I think the scribbling really releases the pressure of being perfect. It’s definitely a powerful feeling! I love working this way now, even if I’m not being timed. 😊👍
Very nice!!! Indeed, you did a great job fixing up that car, wow😍😍😍😍
Thanks! I really surprised myself with that one! 😊👍
@@artbyheather lol, that's funny😍😍😍😍
Love the train a lot, you're so clever from the sketch to completion.
Thank you so much! The train really came a long way from the sketch! 😊👍
C'est fait ! Merci, cette technique me fait beaucoup progresser. Quand je fais de la randonnée, je ne peux pas m'arrêter trop longtemps alors je commence mes dessins plus rapidement, sans stress et surtout avec beaucoup de plaisir ! Merci ❤
That’s great! I’m glad the video is helping with your quick sketching! You’re very welcome! More to come! ❤️😊👍
this is so good ☺☺
Thanks so much! 😊👍
The train is good. ❤🇦🇺
Thanks! 😊👍
They all turned out great!! 🤗😍 I had a chuckle over the pedal gear running away on the bike, but details! 😉🤣 You made them look amazing!! 🥰
Thanks! I’m glad I could make you chuckle! 😆👍
@artbyheather Oh my goodness, if I could draw a bicycle good enough that people would notice that part was missing, it would be awesome!! 🥰 You are very welcome!! 🤗😍
Much more better. Loving it!
Thanks! 😆👍
Merci
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I hope you give it a try! Thanks for watching and sharing your favorite! 😊👍
❤❣
❤️😊👍
I used to love these when you first started but this one not so much. Is not that the images are more complex (I know this is just a warm up exersice) but maybe cause I dont have a laptop but a cellphone screen, in some cases is almost impossible to distinguish the shapes and details with such complex images.
A bicycle is not hard, but that particular image with such a dark background for me was impossible to do. So that one I had to skip, same thing with the train, way to dark to understand what I'm looking at.
Again not the complexity of a picture but the values. And again, maybe is just me cause I dont have a big screen to see the images properly. I think many of us might have that issue.
That aside, thx for the video. ❤
Great feedback! Thanks for saying that. I have wondered if the images were easy to see or not. I will definitely look for images that are easy to see on a smaller screen next time. Sorry you couldn’t sketch along this time. ❤️😊👍
@@artbyheather Thx honey! But great video as usual. 🥰
