    I love your color choices! So vibrant and exciting! I love the Neocolors, and like you I 95% of the time use them dry. I'm only now finally starting to see people on YT using them as a dry medium. There are so gorgeously pigmented and a pleasure to work with. And like you said, the blunt ends means you can't do really detailed work, which makes your final piece look so much more dynamic!

      I usually forget that you can use them wet. And half the time i can't find my waterbrush.

    Your sketches are so lively and energetic! Love the vivid colours. This is the most fun I’ve had in ages! I can’t wait to take my pencils & neocolors outside, and to check out the rest of your channel! 👏🏼👌(very cool street 😊)

    Love neocolors II but usually use them for details or in combination with other mediums!

      I quite often use them with other mediums too but found it really easy to just take the small tin out sketching with me.

    Thanks for posting. I always enjoy your work. I find joy and happy in your work. I'm experimenting with those Caran D II and I like them but I like to add water to them and mix it all up!

    I'm going to get Neocolor 1s. If I want watercolors, I'll get Schminke at that price. Not sure if Neocolor 2 are light fast. I believe they're water-soluble for blending.

      Some Neocolour 2s are not lightfast but the majority are. I mainly use them for sketchbook work so it doesn't really bother me.

    Oh, this is do cool. I don't have neocolors, but I have the oil pastel. Are these the same as the oil pastel

      The reg aren't water soluble but similar otherwise

      @sketchingtheworldwithkat  8 месяцев назад +1

      They aren't the same. The oil pastels aren't water soluble and they are much softer so they blend more easily but can also be messier.
