Thanks for showing this to me, Josh. That is probably the finest piano I’ve played. At the very least i would consider it a favorite. Just astounding. I like it more than the CFX I played last weekend, even. (Sorry, Matt!)
You're welcome! I'm glad that you stopped by and had a chance to play it! I am in agreement with you... I have had a chance to play a few SX series pianos at this point and the S7X model in particular has an incredible personality. I'm glad you had time to stop at our SF location too, that's great! You're welcome anytime :)
Hey Hey! Thank you, Jim! The S7X is an absolute dream to play! Because the SX series is a handmade piano, each piano has slightly different characteristics/personalities, and I actually really like this piano in particular! The SX series is overall designed to have a warm, deep, and mature tonal pallet. I have played a few and this piano has such a wonderful bass section, a middle section that is very warm, and then a tasteful treble section of the piano. Yamaha technicians play to each piano's strength when they are putting the finishing touches on the piano at the factory. This model in particular, I talked with the technician that voiced the piano and he mentioned how he really liked how this piano turned out :) Anyway, I hope you are well and it's great to hear from you! - Josh
Thank you for watching, David! The SX series is of higher quality than the CX series.
