In the original game the scene with the robed people was eerie and slightly disturbing. Haven't played the remake yet but this sounds like a low effort smarty-pants joke.
No that's a sidequest which wasnt in the original at all and Yuffie makes a joke cause she knows how hot it is under a robe (cause she had to wear one for a long time before to hide)
