Nostalghia opened up for Crosses a few years ago. When Ciscandra came out, it was mostly a crowd full of guys, & I was about two rows back in the pit. I remember thinking "I hope she's good" since I love a good fellow female vocalist. When she started singing, I was like YES!!!!!! She blew them away - They are a seriously awesome live band. What she does vocally, what Roy does with everything else (so much going on instrumentally! And then Claire on Cello. I was hooked & found a new fav band. I love to hear these guys are doing great!
I see this as a depiction of the personification of vengeance... what would vengence ask of you? money? kings have tried to buy her... would she want love? most of the time she is love or becomes love... what would vengeance want? a sacrifice, you willing to be a sacrifice... what would vengeance want? for you to become providence... god be you, I love it

For younger people who can't place the tradition that Nostalghia's music fits in to I suggest to check out early Kate Bush, Katie Jane Garside [Queen Adreena], Sonja Kristina [Curved Air], Siouxsie Soux [the Banshees], Chrissy Amphlett [the Divinyls], Chrissie Hynde [the Pretenders] ... Amazing female artists who I imagine have been influences on this artist's wonderful music. If you prefer a dark 80s post-punky darkwave sound to the more 90s sound of this track, I strongly recommend you listen to Nostalghia's earlier album 'Chrysalis' = amazing songs!
John D Nastalghia, at her best, comes closest to Marilyn Manson when he released The Pale Emperor, i.e. long past his prime. She doesn't come close to matching his creative genius nor energy. She's good, but not nearly that good.
