Incase you were wondering, the bass player married in (1966) & they are still married. The drummer, married his high school sweetheart, & stayed married until his death in (1980). His wife never remarried, & still lives in their home. Lead singer married in I believe (1968 or 69), they remained married until (1983)he never remarried, their 5 year old son passed away in (1977), which may have been a factor in the divorce. They have many songs you’d love, The Rain Song is about the seasons of a relationship, it’s beautiful, Thank You is another & was our wedding song. There are other great songs too.

The song Thank You was Robert Plants song to his wife Maureen for all she did for him before and after the Led Zep fame.

This is my parents(Boomers) music and I'm GenX (1969) and was listening to this since the 1970's as a child. It's good to see younger generations as yourselves respecting good music.

Robert Plant had hits -- even shared a Grammy I think, with gospel singer Alison Krauss -- he sought her out because he loved her voice so much, so I believe he said. Pray for him and the other 2 surviving members to see the light of Christ. Drummer John Bonham is buried in an Anglican/Episcopal churchyard, maybe he had some faith too.

I was married for almost 40yrs before my angel passed away from cancer a few months before covid 2019. I tell the young guys that's having relationships problems.. I tell them try staying home on the weekend not act single because your not.. I was a rock musician for most the 40 yrs yet me and my best half never had a infidelity issue because I already had the best god made.. why would take something subpar. Also want your relationship to last my advice is. Make sure your lady goes to sleep smiling and she wakes up smiling and sprinkle a few smiles throughout the day and your golden. News flash most girls would rather be with a goofball than a thug.. 😂😮

This song is awesome! As he alluded to being her "backdoor man" (lover sneaking in the back door....not in the way you deduced), this is definitely not referring to a marriage. I find it surprising that people w/your limited scope, facilitated by your stifling religiousity, could appreciate great music like this. It's all good Marriage4 - Glad you have your light that leads you. I have a strong constitution as well - 2 lovely daughters both just graduated from college and a beautiful love of my life for 29 awesome years. I could not disagree more with such a blanket statement for society. LZ was definitely hedonistic in a lot of ways and it helped make them iconic, but a close look also delivers a fairly detailed cautionary tale.
