Thanks for posting this Most Excellent Tune..it helps me improve my scaffold version by enabling the addition of sound windows and decorative features.
It's a rare pre-war Pokerwork with 12 basses. The whole thing has been expertly set up by Mike Rowbotham with the best vintage Hohner reeds, a stop to remove the thirds from left hand chords and other internal refinements.
@@martinellison7225 I was so inspired by your videos that, using your sound as the model, I bit the bullet and just had a bunch of work done on my accordion. I had Mike Usui at Dancemaster Accordion widen the holes on the left hand side, install Italian reeds on the accompaniment side, adjust the reed tongue height, get rid of all the keyboard clack, repair the bellows, install a backing plate, put new strap connections on, replace a couple of the low notes with chromatic notes on the melody side, and tune the entire instrument slightly drier. It was like buying another accordion, but it plays like a new accordion now. It doesn't hurt so much! I haven't put up any videos since the repair work (it plays so differently, that I'm still getting used to it) but I'll probably steal a couple of your tunes at some point. I can do the sustained chord movement now, so that really opens up so many possibilities.
Bravo! Wonderful song and you seem to be really feeling it. Lovely.
What a great and wonderful sound the Hohner has.

Trying to remember where I know that tune from.
Wow!!!
What kind of a box is this? Some excellent Pokerwork renovation?

@@keelermatt77 That's so lovely to read and very much appreciated. Good luck with your 'new' instrument!
