- Sam Williams performs "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" by his grandfather, Hank Williams, at The 14th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors™ hosted by two-time ACM Award winner Carly Pearce.
Artists confirmed to perform include Trace Adkins, Lauren Alaina, Devin Dawson, Jessie Jo Dillon, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Nicolle Galyon, HARDY, Chris Janson, Lady A, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, RaeLynn, Jordan Reynolds, Brittney Spencer, Keith Urban, Laura Veltz, Sam Williams and Lee Ann Womack.
The 14th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors considered one of the industry’s favorite nights, is an evening dedicated to recognizing the special honorees and winners from the 55th and 56th Academy of Country Music Awards™. The event took place on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and was livestreamed on Circle Network’s Facebook, Twitter and RUclips platforms. Circle Network will also air a television special around the 14th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors on November 23, 2021.
Special Awards recipients celebrated at the 14th Annual ACM Honors include Ken Burns's Country Music, RAC Clark, Luke Combs, Ross Copperman, Dan + Shay, Rascal Flatts, Joe Galante, Toby Keith, Lady A, Loretta Lynn, Gretchen Peters and Curly Putman.The evening also recognized 55th ACM Awards Industry and Studio Recording Award winners along with newly announced winners of the Studio Recording Awards for the 56th ACM Awards, along with Songwriter of the Year Award winner, Hillary Lindsey. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Industry Awards were not given out during the 56th ACM Awards cycle.

He sings like his owns elf! And it is touching and amazing! Looking forward to more from Sambo! And while I'm at it here, I would you all to check out Layla Tucker, who also wowed me with her singing! Move over Tanya! I'm thinkin how cool it might be if Sam and Layla were to collaborate on something,,,,,that'd be waaaay cool to hear!!!!

You done superb and you sound like you and that's it how you sound.
And that's what makes you stand out because you aren't trying to be like anyone else nobody before you and nobody after you either .
And you're also well aware that you already have been blessed with a voice and you can sing with out any back up singers or music or anything.
And that you don't need to make your self sound like your Dad or your Grand dad to make it as a Singer .
You have choose to do it by your own style and thus far you've been pretty damn successful by doing so .

I love when people who know nothing about singing like to comment on the singing of others. Tone and the ability to “sing” are two different things. You may not like this dudes tone, but he is a way above average singer. Id suggest you listen to other songs if you didn’t like this version of his grandfathers
