What a W-I-L-D G-A-M-E !!! Well played by all players..... 1. Ecaz: You need to give choaming seminars. All of your seminars would be Sold Out! 2. Smugglers: The Shadow Empire is your friend. (Just not all the time). 3. Corrino: Ever feared and respected. Only thwarted by the fear and treachery of others. 4. Daevohk: You never stopped moving and shaking the whole match. You were clicking at such a high speed I thought your key board was going to short out !!! See is "Must See TV" folks...
YES! I love some hark game, great job bouncing around. The micro was on point. I'm curious to see this ecaz early choam boom. Maybe watch him on spectator mode doing to emulate LoL! GG Daev, thanks for the content!
Ecaz was an actual wizard, I genuinely don't understand how that was possible. My Ecaz eco is always so slow to start up and dude here got a quarter of CHOAM by month three.
Your guys died during the ecaz dive due to red fluid, once any unit flies in, all your guys are in combat again, and red fluid is triggered. So those 3 landsraad guards got half your army dead. Suspect it doesnt make a lot of sense for basediving
@@_TheOldMan_ it is an insane DPS boost, but yeah it does make things a little rough and I can't quite tell if the Iakon pairing is even better or worse--maybe best to just disband weak guys in downtime and straight recruit new ones
Entertaining as always. I'm surprised nobody uses Piter and spams agents to reduce mission costs. After month 4 or 5 you can get Defense breaches for almost nothing. It does require more blue tech tree but it seems like a good approach for an aggressive play style.
I wish when there is a rebellion, no matter what faction, it had a different alert. Like "there is a rebellion in your province" or something like that. To differentiate it from a regular attack.
I dont know what but something is wrong with Harks economy or my playstyle. I usually open with spice -> plascrete -> spice -> spice -> spice (unless I find rare resources that I take in the meantime too). I am always keeping max militia, oppressing, building spice silos, maxing harvesters' crews etc. I am pillaging/capturing POI whenever I can with my former SC and SC2 micro skills. Except for those green and red techs for pillaging and oppression building I go pretty much all in for eco techs. I am very carefully playing on the choam market. Storing spice is lowering stock prices. So what I do is banking a lot of money then storing spice to lower the price and then buy as much as I can. I usually do it in cycles unless other people are buying too then I use more advanced strategies. I was never able to win by choam before two other people getting close on hegemony... It always ends up with me being 2nd or 3rd to win forcing me to fight the hegemony guys. Sometimes I just have to kill both of them and all my choaming pretty much goes for nothing. Or I lose to smugs with random 700 votes/influence. I think about switching to corino atm.
I've never really liked Iakin because of the no healing thing, but that combined with the red-fluid seems even more horrible! He locks in all that health loss suffered in a fight, everything is so weak all the time as a result. I can see it only if you're drowning in manpower, and are just throwing waves at opponents, where the expectation is nothing survives anyway, then I can see it being very powerful. But all that pillaging across the map to get across it was just slowly killing your army in it's travels! But anyway, it was a great game, I've been loving all the new videos since the patch! Looking forwards to seeing the rest of the factions in this new environment.
@@daevohk True, although oof... another thing to micro with Harks, like they don't have enough going on! I've never looked at disbanding to bring back the same units, I'll have to see what kind of refund we get, full or just the 50% from Iakin (Or something else, because maybe it's interpreted differently by the game). If this is a real strategy, the -30% recruit speed Sietche, with the Concillor Umman Kudu and Iakin Hero could be bonkers. But it's AMP intensive to be building, using disbanding and rebuilding units to overcome the Red Fluid/Cannon Fodder... in a already APM intensive faction compared to others.
Been wondering, does it actually make sense to stockpile so much early game, even with a bad rate? I mean, you can only really sell at your production rate, and can never dump what you have stockpiles into anything besides spice tax, and getting that income boost later means the choam market is more expensive (and cheaper for the opponents), and often times delays your buildings + ship parts production. So between you stockpiling, smugs not buying, and coreino selling his shares, it openes the door for ecaz early game choam? Also didnt you forget experimental furnace? (Understandable with how high apm hark can be).
New player here, if you were having water troubles the whole game why not pick up the centre for water? Especially as the water seller? What’s the strategy I’m missing lol
Main base districts are really important and impactful, and the +water one is one of the weakest options so I usually try to put it off as much as possible--unless lack of water is stopping me from even making buildings. You can play around low low water with supply drops if you're very careful.
nice combo of being extremely cracked at the game while explaining your moves in a calm, relaxing manner. love it.
Thanks for all the uploads recently!
