Every genuine parents wish for their children to be better than them. Why do you think pastors or ministers should think and expect differently. The priesthood was generational, though the prophetic ministry was actually not. So if the son of a pastor builds capacity to pastor it should be lauded, though he may not carry the other special gifts on the father, who knows his own may be higher. To lead living faith you must be younger than 55yrs and you only serve for a 7-year term only renewable once. that means his own son or family can't serve more than 14 years. The organization has to think ahead. That is why most African businesses die after the founder because they never have a clear plan for many years to come.

From what I see, the disciples acted the way they did due to the era they were in. To lead living faith you must be younger than 55yrs and you only serve for a 7-year term only renewable once. that means his own son or family can't serve more than 14 years. The organization has to think ahead. That is why most African businesses die after the founder because they never have a clear plan for many years to come.

You can not sustain based on the wasting of olive food oil or the making of false declarations or the building of gigantic complexes which would be easily discarded once the cost of maintenance become too much for successors as membership dwindle, as all cults of personality bodies realise sooner than latter

I strongly advocate that the Church revisits its plans, policies and mandate. This kind of precedence should not be heard amongst us; Christians. It is also unbiblical.
No one removed their ordination. No one took them being priests away from them. The office of vice presidents are what have been retired of them. As the mandate dictated, no one is going to occupy such a position of a VP or President again.

The modern church (bride) is making the same mistake as Eve. God’s idea of church is firmly rooted in equality. The interpretation of the offices of the church has been misunderstood. We have been taught to look outside of the bible for this manifestation and to replicate it, instead of identifying that order in the bible and appreciating how God built his own perfect church in the bible.
We can never function as a genuine church if we implement worldly structures. It will never work. The world system is designed to enrich whoever is at the top of the chain.
But over time had Deacons who served tables and Apostles who laboured in word and prayer. Even the Lord Jesus had Structure in His Board of 12 Disciples, someone was Treasurer, Judas, Phillip was Protocol Officer to whom people came and requested for audience with Jesus, the inner circle of Pastoral Council was Peter, James and John. So LFC, having Structure is from the Bible. Even God had a Structure for the Family, Man, Woman and Children.
