I love the idea that Nuuk effectively closed down for the day showing just how important the arrival of this flight was to the people of Greenland and especially Nuuk.
It was such an Honor to be on this Inaugural flight to Greenlandic capital of Nuuk! You could really see how much it meant to the country & people. Great report!
I love the Air Greenland colour, and I also like the A330-800. A very nice plane, and should be more seen worldwide, but who's going to buy it! Such a shame.
@@heinedenmark Bruv, I checked-out the day they said he won. America is a Banana country now. They literally elected a 36 time felon as their president - a guy who incited insurrection on live TV.

Tiny airport with 12 daily departures closing down is nothing special

Passengers love small wide-body aircraft
They are comfortable and manageable
Well done to Air Greenland.
I'm surprised Air Greenland doesn't use flight numbers 1 and 2 for such an iconic and flagship route.

Good luck to Air Greenland and hopefully you can soon expand your network to include the US Northeastern cities such as Boston and New York! 👍👍👍
don't worry, it will be a domestic flight soon, god willing
@@jawmare That WILL NEVER happen, Greenland is not fore sale ore up for graps, its ou'r country and home.
I hope they buy A321XLR and operate flights to US and Canada.
I love that they have a word for finally we have a big aircraft 😭😭
Cool video and yes I'd fly Air Greenland if I ever have the opportunity to visit Greenland
It's on the top of my to-do flight list along with Keflavik and the Faroe Islands. Just very remote from the Canadian side sadly....
I'd love to go see Nuuk, but in Summer plz.
3:39 You will note though that the model gift is the A330 200;not the A330 800 on which Jonathan travelled.
I wish the old A330-200 was kept as it wasn't a bad apple
congratulations for airbus

Trump : I want that 🤡
Yeah - the next 4 years we're all to watch the show: House of Clowns.
God help us.

@@heinedenmark bruv, I mentally checked-out the very day they said he won. Its' a total clown show there.
Build that wall!-Canada
Lol but he can't
How can so small a population pay for all this .
Expensive tickets. Takes quite a few years, but last airbus they had was in service for like 20 years.
On top of that the plane is almost packed most of the year, every time it flies. There are many travellers when it’s just 1 jet.
The livery would've look better on a 787.
I don't think they could land a 787 at Nuuk
Air Greenland chose the A330-800neo for its large cargo area to take more air cargo to Greenland among other considerations that the A300 had on it.
@@NoteRedOSC They could...the 787 is actually more overpowered.
@@Nuuksgirl Probably correct
